The Universal Language Of The Other Side
I have come across varying opinions, and even read a couple of books, claiming that a certain ‘language is spoken’ on the Other Side. But I have had a very different experience doing mediumship readings. In my experience there is no actual ‘language’ that is used for communication in the spirit realm. Instead, I experience it as what is best described as telepathic knowing.
In my work with spirit I have not personally encountered any sign of spoken language. In the spirit realm there is no attachment to language, dialect, culture, ethnicity, or nationality. Those aspects of human identity are an earthly concept.
On the Other Side, we communicate telepathically and empathically through pure consciousness, which in human terms translates to feelings, thoughts, sensory perceptions and mental imagery.
The souls we communicate with can read our mind. They know, for example, if you love music. So, they will communicate with you in songs, knowing it will reach your awareness more easily.
Often, in medium readings, I will smell a certain smell like, roses, pumpkin pie, and so on. The soul I am communicating with knows I am a vegetarian, so they always polite have me smell food that would not be offensive to me.
I smelled lemon once, and was shown lemonade. My client told me her grandmother was known for her lemon orchard and the lemonade she used to make. It was a special memory from her childhood.
My Favorite Psychic Movies
Due to the nature of my work, I obviously love watching movies about psychics and the paranormal. Although there aren’t a lot of really good psychic movies out there, I do have a few firm favorites. Next time you are looking for an inspiring movie about psychic phenomena or the supernatural, see if you can find one of the following psychic classics on your favorite streaming service.
The Dead Zone (1983)
Based on a Stephen King novel, this movie follows the life of a school teacher who awakens with psychic powers, after falling into a coma. The film stars Christopher Walken as a reluctant psychic, who hesitates to use his powers, which I think is common for many psychics when we first discover our abilities. Once he finally decides to use his gifts, amazing things start to happen!
Ghost (1990)
Many people are familiar with this film. It was one of the most financially successful films of the 90’s. Personally, I love it so much that I could just watch it over and over again! The all-star cast features Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg as a highly eccentric psychic. Romantic, funny and uplifting, this is one of my favorite movies about a reluctant psychic medium who is able to connect with spirit on the Other Side.
Purple Love From The Other Side
Recently, I was in my kitchen cooking, when the song Purple Rain, by Prince, kept playing in my head. It was stuck in my mind, loud and clear, the verses of the song, over and over again throughout the day. I didn’t think much of it at the time, other than I must have recently heard the song playing somewhere.
The next morning while I was meditating, I was shown a shape by Spirit. At first I couldn’t make out what it was, but then the vision became more clear. I sensed it must had to be the shape of a state in the United States, but I was not sure which one. After my meditation, I searched for the sate on the map and discovered it was Minnesota.
Later that day, I once again kept hearing a Prince song in my head. This time it was Paisley Park. That night I had a dream about an oddly shaped electric guitar, which I didn’t understand. I also heard the name “Roger.”
Every day, for a whole week, I was receiving these clues, like a puzzle to solve. Each one somehow related back the musical artist Prince.
That night my daughter sent ‘coincidentally’ sent me the link to a YouTube video of Prince performing Purple Rain. She just said it was one of her favorites and wanted to share it with me. It was uncanny, because I hadn’t told her a thing about what had been happening with me lately.
I have to admit, until the time of these events, I knew very little about Prince’s music, and absolutely nothing about his personal life. I used to hear his songs being played on the radio in the 80s and 90s, and I did enjoy them, but I never knew much about him as a person and an artist. Continue reading
How To Choose The Best Psychic Medium
If 30 years ago, someone were to ask me what a medium exactly was, I would have said that it is someone who connects with those who have passed away. A typical response, you might say. The Spiritual Significance Of A Global Pandemic
Remember that defining moment recently, when the novel coronavirus finally made its way into your everyday reality? Your spiritual well-being and metaphysical beliefs were probably the last things on your mind. In fact, the spiritual meaning of this pandemic will not be a major consideration for most at this time. But in the dark, difficult days that still lie ahead, the Covid-19 pandemic will increasingly reveal its profound spiritual truths. And in its devastating aftermath, we will have no choice but to acknowledge and embrace its spiritual significance in our post-pandemic reality.
When Covid-19 was officially declared a global pandemic, and made its unwelcome way into international news headlines, many people reverted to the ‘first law of nature.’ They responded instinctively with their best personal strategies for self-preservation.
Some hysterically stockpiled a lifetime supply of hand sanitizer and toilet paper, while others stubbornly gathered en masse at street festivals, religious gatherings, and even at their nearest beach, despite medical experts and authorities advising against it. Many simply carried on with life ‘as normal’, until they could no longer ignore the writing on the wall.
Meanwhile, the least anchored among us, tried to alleviate their overwhelming anxiety and confusion by seeking certainty in fake news, superstition, and the outlandish fearmongering of conspiracy theorists. Some went into hardcore survival mode, compelled by their lack consciousness and a scarcity mentality, while other still continue to choose the path of least resistance: denial. And in-between these polar opposite responses, the best, and worst examples of human behavior continue to surface all over the world.
Prophetic Dreams – A Heads Up From Your Angels
Many of us experience prophetic or psychic dreams, often without even knowing it. What is a prophetic dream? Well, let me share a few prophetic dreams loved ones have shared with me recently.
I had a dream for example, that a family member would rummage through another family member’s basement, looking for items to take without their permission. In my dream I saw myself receiving repeated text alerts urging me to go over there and see for myself what this person was up to. So, I actually got up and went over there, only to discover that the family member in question was indeed there, busy removing several items from the basement!
I also had a dream that there were thieves coming in through my window, only to wake up and find that my neighbors had in fact been robbed during the night. I also had a package stolen from my porch recently, and a security camera nearby captured the person stealing it.
I dreamt of a my grandmother. I was visiting with her and we were in her bedroom, where we had spent a lot of time having chats throughout my teens. Currently on my music playlist there is a song about how our relatives are still with us in everything we do, and live on in our hearts. Lately, whenever I get to that song, it always freezes right on that song – the phone just pauses on its own!
Connecting With Your Psychic Self
We all sometimes have unusual occurrences or extraordinary experiences that are not easily defined, or understood, by logic or practical thinking. Many of these events are often psychic or paranormal in nature.
For example, I am clairaudient and therefore I frequently hear voices. Earlier in my life I did not understand what this was, but I have since learned that there are sometimes conversations going on that I am privy to …conversations that are emanating from the Other Side, from beyond this world.
I don’t always recognize the spirits, or understand the gist of the conversation, but I no longer have any qualms accepting these auditory perceptions as a psychic or paranormal phenomenon. Of course, there are experts in the fields of Psychiatry and Psychology who will certainly not not agree!
Dreams are a common psychic phenomenon for many people. You might have had particular dreams yourself, where the events that you dreamt actually came to fruition. We all sometimes dream the future and this indeed qualifies as a psychic experience, and a psychic ability we all have.
Many of us experience lucid dreams, and some even have daytime visions. We typically do not trust that it actually was a psychic vision, or we question whether or not it was only our imagination. Well, what is imagination if not another word for visual creations?
