Some Will Only Know Joy In The Afterlife
Shortly after my father’s death in 2005, I began sitting in a monthly mediumship circle with three friends. At our third gathering, my father began the first of many communications from the other side.
This experience was made even more special by the fact that one of the sitters was my father’s hospice nurse.
How fortunate I was during those last six months of my father’s life to not only have the wonderful support of this earth angel, but also to feel so connected to her through our interest in things of a psychic and spiritualist nature.
What a bonus then to have her as an additional link to him in our psychic circle.
At one point, however, my father stopped communicating during our sessions for a period of about three months. When his presence finally returned, I asked him where he had been, and he replied, “Learning about joy!”
This was very surprising to me because my father never really knew or showed much joy when he was in this world. Or maybe he never allowed himself to experience joy. The only times he seemed really happy or joyful was when he had what he called “several sherbets under his belt,” meaning he’d be pretty intoxicated!
I felt both sad and happy. Sad because he had never known joy as I knew it – just rolling around on the floor playing with my pets, sharing a joke with a friend, or being elated when a client came back to say that their life had taken a turn for the better. But I was happy that he was finally allowing himself to learn about and experience some joy.
The Missed Opportunities Of Prophetic Predictions
Psychics and mediums are mostly known only for giving personalized predictions and spiritual advice tailored to individual clients. People often come to us for help with personal issues such as relationships, career choices, and other life concerns.
But there’s a bigger picture that doesn’t get as much attention: the role of some highly gifted psychics in making large-scale predictions that address collective challenges or foresee major events that affect everyone. How To Support The Awakening Psychic
Guiding and supporting someone through their psychic awakening and development process can be quite a challenge, as the way different people receive their messages from spirit can be unusual and unexpected, even to the awakening psychic themselves.
Over the years, I’ve learned that psychic ability is highly individual and different for each person, and that everyone’s path of development is unique.
This uniqueness stems from the fact that psychic abilities are gifts or talents that are mostly beyond our everyday understanding. Most experienced psychics will tell you that they do not really know how or why they are able to know, feel or sense things – somehow we just do.
Every psychic journey is therefore deeply personal. Often we start out receiving messages in a certain way, only to have other ways emerge as we grow and evolve. How and what we perceive is always unpredictable, and some abilities may strengthen while others fade over time.
For example, I started out with a lot of clairsentient “sensing and feeling,” which was soon accompanied by claircognitive “knowing”. Then one day I suddenly noticed that I was beginning to also “see” more and more clairvoyantly with my mind’s eye.
Helping someone on their psychic journey can be challenging, but it is also a profound and rewarding journey. It takes patience, understanding, and a deep commitment to help nurture their growth, but it is very, very gratifying to empower and help others to step into their full potential as lightworkers, wayshowers, channels, and healers.
The Spiritual Importance Of Living Your Passion
It is a sad fact that so many people in today’s modern world are dissatisfied with their lot.
However, many of us allow this to happen quite easily because we have responsibilities, bills to pay, and so on. We tend to just go along with what life gives us and resist the change that would lead to a more passionate life.
In fact, sometimes we never even stop to think about what our passion might be, and sadly, we live less fulfilling lives as a result. Fortunately, this does not have to be the case.
I know that I myself have fallen into this category of people in the past, until I found where my true passion lies, which is helping other people through psychic readings and spiritual support. As a result, I have never been happier and you, dear reader, can do the same. It just depends on where your particular passion lies.
So, ask yourself, what do you really want to do with your life? Would you be more passionate about starting your own business than doing the job you have now, or are you particularly passionate about living your life in a certain way? If so, Spirit says it does not matter what other people think. What matters is what resonates with you and what makes you feel empowered and fulfilled as a human being.
Once you have determined where your passion lies (this is your focus), you need to develop a strong belief that you can fulfill this passion in your life and this mindset will be your driving force towards your goals. Many people stop at this critical point because they are understandably afraid of change. This is understandable, Spirit says, for it can be compared to stepping into the unknown.
Being Laid Off Can Spark Spiritual Growth
Being laid off from a job can be a profoundly challenging and disorienting experience. The experience tends to stir up a myriad of feelings, worries, and questions about one’s purpose, value, security, and direction in life.
But while job loss can be very unsettling and stressful, it also offers unexpected opportunities for personal and spiritual growth.
At its core, the spiritual journey invites us to explore the depths of our being and to seek meaning beyond the material realm. A layoff can serve as a catalyst for this exploration, prompting us to reevaluate our priorities, values, and relationship to work.
In many spiritual traditions, adversity is seen as an opportunity for growth and transformation, a chance to deepen our connection to the divine and uncover hidden aspects of ourselves.
Being fired is an invitation to surrender to the flow of life. In our modern society, we often cling to our plans and expectations, believing that we are in control of our destiny. However, a layoff can shatter this illusion of control and force us to confront the uncertainty and impermanence inherent in existence.
In the face of this new uncertainty, we have the opportunity to surrender our ego and trust in a higher power or cosmic intelligence to guide us on our path. This surrender is not an act of resignation, but rather an act of faith, a willingness to let go and allow life to unfold as it will.
Don’t Panic, It May Just Be A Divine Intervention!
From the beginning of my spiritual career, my guides taught me that we are given three things in life: opportunity, choice, and free will. Simply put, when we choose from the options that are presented to us, we exercise our right to free will and largely determine our own future.
While this is quite an empowering thought for most of us, there are times in our lives when Spirit feels that we are very much on the wrong track and will actually change our circumstances for us. While this does not happen very often, I will use my own situation as an example of why they do sometimes interfere with our free will.
Back in 1984, when I was 24 years old, all I wanted to be was a stenotypist. I was so determined to get what was then considered a very prestigious job that I went to college, worked hard, passed my exams, was proactive, and finally got a job with the local government.
I could not believe my luck, as the salary was about £5,000 per year, which is about $6,300 – certainly not bad almost 32 years ago! I thought I had struck gold, but things got even better when I started dating the man who worked in the office next door. Life could not be better (or so I thought) as I had the man, the career, the money – everything! Unfortunately, disaster soon struck.
My boyfriend left me, the girls in the office made fun of me, my boss and his secretary bullied me, and finally I lost my job. Suddenly I found myself in the middle of a recession, with no relationship, no job, no money, no prospects, and I couldn’t even get a reference!
Why, oh why, did this happen to me? I didn’t deserve this! I had worked so hard. I am a good person. I always strive to be a decent friend and colleague. Yet, I was being treated so unfairly.
Tarot Forecast May 2024: Judgement
The card for this month is Judgement, which encourages us to rid ourselves of what no longer serves us and to address karmic issues for personal and spiritual growth.
We may especially find ourselves facing the consequences of past actions or decisions this month.
Judgement emphasises the importance of accountability and responsibility, urging us to learn from our experiences and strive for karmic balance. By taking responsibility for our choices, we can break free from negative patterns and create a better future.
This will therefore be a month of reckoning and evaluation. Judgement invites us to reflect on our actions, choices and life path, and challenges us to take responsibility and face any unresolved issues with honesty and courage.
It will be a time of resolution and redemption, allowing us to find closure and make amends for past conflicts or mistakes.
By facing our challenges with integrity and compassion, we can experience inner peace and acceptance, paving the way for healing and growth. It also offers an opportunity for profound transformation and awakening, giving us a fresh start and the chance to embrace new beginnings with optimism and enthusiasm.
