Why You’re Absolutely Meant To Be Here!
Lately I’ve been hearing more cries for help from clients saying things like: “I really don’t want to be here anymore,” “No one will even miss me when I’m gone,” or “This world is not for me, I never belonged here anyway.”
This sense of despair seems to have increased in recent times. For many, there seems to be an overwhelming sense that the world is spinning out of control. More and more people are struggling with a deep sense of disconnection and hopelessness, triggered by the relentless pace of global upheaval and chaos.
Some also speak of a deep inner alienation — a quiet pain that comes from trying to reconcile their heartfelt values and dreams with a daily reality that feels cold, uncertain, cruel, and fragmented. They no longer see the compassion, unity, or progress they once believed in, and this leaves them questioning their place in the world, or if they even belong here.
It is a powerful reminder of the urgent need for the world’s lightworkers to rise — to hold space, to nurture hope, to foster connection, and to work toward a more compassionate and sustainable future.
I, for one, do not share this negative view regarding my place and purpose in this world, because about three decades ago I faced a serious illness that nearly ended my life. This traumatic chapter led me to a profound realization: we plan our lives before we incarnate, and we all absolutely belong here!
The Fascinating Phenomenon Of Table Turning
Table turning, also known as “table tipping” or “table tilting,” is a fascinating form of spirit communication that occurs during séances.
It involves participants sitting around a table and placing their hands lightly on its surface to communicate with spirit. The table then moves or tilts, or in exceptional cases floats or rotates, in response to questions posed to spirit.
Table turning became popular in the mid-1800s, a time when Spiritualism was quickly gaining popularity in Europe and North America. People were intrigued by the idea of communicating with the afterlife, and séances became a common social activity.
People in those days didn’t have the resources or easy access to mediums and channelers that we have today. So, small groups of family and friends would gather and communicate with the spirit realm.
Table turning was also considered a wonderful way to entertain guests at social gatherings and was even considered a parlor game. Even President Lincoln’s wife, Mary Todd Lincoln, is said to have attended and even hosted séances at the White House.
Other well-known spiritualists of the time, such as the Laurie family and Nettie Colburn Maynard, reportedly attended séances with the Lincolns. Mrs. Lincoln was deeply interested in spiritualism and mediumship, especially after the deaths of her sons, Edward and later Willie.
The Archangels: Divine Messengers, Emissaries And Healers
Throughout history and across spiritual traditions, archangels have been known as divine messengers and powerful emissaries of the divine. They are among the highest orders of celestial beings who guide and assist humanity in profound ways.
An archangel is a high-ranking angel, often described as a celestial being with special authority and a significant role in the higher realms.
The term “archangel” comes from the Greek words archi (meaning chief or head) and angelos (meaning messenger). They are considered leaders among the angels and act as intermediaries between the divine and humanity. They offer protection, guidance, and the execution of divine will.
While many religious traditions, including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, acknowledge their existence, archangels transcend any one faith.
Many wisdom traditions and mythologies have parallels to archangels – celestial or divine beings who act as messengers, protectors, or mediators between the divine and humanity. Examples include the Amesha Spentas in Zoroastrianism, the Devas in Hinduism, the Bodhisattvas in Hinduism, and the Kami in Shinto.
Although different traditions vary in the number and identities of archangels, some are universally recognized and revered.
A distinguishing feature of archangels is their names, which typically end in “-el,” which means “of God” or “in God” in Hebrew. This signifies their deep connection to the divine will and their role as conduits between the higher realms and the earthly plane.
When Spirit Calls Your Name
There’s something undeniably enchanting about the stillness of night, when the world shuts down, distractions fade, and our spiritual awareness sharpens.
In these moments of silence, I sometimes feel a spiritual presence calling my name. It’s not a voice I hear with my physical ears, but rather a telepathic resonance in my heart and mind that awakens me from the state between wakefulness and sleep.
When this happens, I pay close attention because I know an important message is coming.
Many of my clients say they have similar experiences. They describe being in bed, about to fall asleep, when suddenly they hear their name or feel that someone is right next to them. Some immediately feel a deep sense of peace, while others are startled, unsure of what they have just experienced.
If you have ever heard your name called in the silence of the night, know that it is no accident and certainly not your imagination. These whispers from the unseen realms always come with purpose. They are gentle yet powerful reminders that you are not alone on your life journey. Your spirit team is calling for your attention, nudging you to listen, to reflect, and to receive the wisdom they wish to impart.
It is normal to feel fear when we do not understand what is happening. But for those who hear these calls, I offer this assurance: these moments are sacred. They are benevolent invitations to truly listen, to open your heart and mind, and to receive guidance from your team of spirit helpers.
Psychics And Mediums: What’s The Difference?
The terms “psychic” and “medium” are often used interchangeably, mostly because people assume they are one and the same. While they do overlap, the truth is they serve different roles.
Understanding what makes them different — and what they have in common — is key if you’re exploring psychic readings, spirituality, and metaphysical practices.
First of all, think of it this way: all mediums are psychics, but not all psychics are mediums.
A psychic is someone who is capable of extrasensory perception (ESP), which means they can perceive information beyond the normal five senses.
The word “psychic” comes from the Greek word psykhikos, which means “of the soul, spirit, or mind.” This, in turn, is derived from psykhē, which means “soul” or “mind.” So, essentially, “psychic” refers to anything related to the mind and soul.
Psychics use their abilities to sense information about a living person’s past, present, and future. They can perceive potential life paths, challenges, or opportunities.
Their gifts may include more than one ability, such as clairvoyance (seeing), clairaudience (hearing), clairsentience (feeling or sensing) and claircognizance (knowing). Using these perceptual abilities, psychics can offer their clients clarity, guidance, and insight into life’s many questions.
Why Your Spirit Helpers Choose To Work With You
I have learned through spirit communication that everyone on earth is guided by someone in the spirit world, even though they may not be aware of it. In fact, most people go through life receiving spirit’s protection and support every day without ever being aware of it.
These spirit helpers, ranging from our ancestors and loved ones on the other side, to shamanic totems and nature spirits, spirit guides and guardians, ascended masters and angels, all serve as beacons of light, love and wisdom and provide vital support for our personal and spiritual growth.
But their involvement in our lives is far from random or accidental. These beings are connected or drawn to us for reasons beyond our earthly existence, to help us fulfill our soul’s mission and contribute to the greater good of universal spiritual evolution.
Our spirit helpers connect with us here on the earth plane to guide, teach, protect and support us. Their roles transcend the individual, as they also serve a higher purpose — to assist with the collective evolution of all souls, the expansion of the universe, and to be in service to the divine.
Understanding why these spirit beings choose to work with us offers profound insights into the nature of our spiritual journey, the interconnectedness of souls, and how our actions, thoughts and intentions ripple out to affect the whole.
The Mysterious Phenomenon Of Spiritual Chills
Chills and goosebumps are fascinating responses in the human body, rooted in biology and physiology, but also shrouded in mystery.
These physical reactions are mostly triggered by cold temperatures, strong emotions such as fear, excitement, or awe, or as part of the fight-or-flight response.
But not all instances of shivering, goosebumps, or the “heebie jeebies” are rooted in physical stimuli. Some occur for no apparent reason, suggesting a deeper, more metaphysical significance.
While science attributes shivers and goosebumps solely to primal survival mechanisms, a spiritual perspective offers another level of understanding – one that links these sensations to supernatural phenomena and spiritual encounters.
Goosebumps and shivers are ancient responses inherited from our primal ancestors. When our ancestors faced cold temperatures, their body hair stood up to trap heat and provide insulation.
Similarly, when threatened, their hair would stand up, making them appear larger and more intimidating to predators. We also see this response in the fur on our cats and dogs when they go into fight or flight mode. In humans, the function is just not as pronounced due to our sparse body hair, but the response persists.
This mechanism, called piloerection, causes the tiny muscles at the base of each hair follicle to contract, making the hair stand on end and creating the characteristic bumps we call goosebumps – so named because they resemble the skin of plucked poultry. This reaction is part of the body’s autonomic nervous system, which controls involuntary responses.
