Shield Yourself From Energy Vampires
People who are spiritually attuned can feel drained very quickly when they are around others who have a lower energy vibration. A client of mine recently asked why this happens. This is what Spirit revealed.
When your heart center is wide open and vibrating with the Divine, and you encounter struggling souls who are stuck in the negativity loop of a lower-density reality, they can disrupt or even steal some of your energy. It’s like their batteries are leaking or not charging properly, and suddenly you feel drained faster than your tablet after a Netflix binge.
These folks are the energy vampires of the world. They’re the ones who haven’t quite mastered the art of recharging themselves. Instead, their starved auras latch onto others, sucking out good vibes like it’s happy hour at a juice bar. And then their negativity rubs off on us more sensitive, empathetic, intuitive types.
This is especially true lately with everything being so shaky and chaotic in our world. Seriously, just look at what a lot of people are posting on social media platforms these days. It’s like we’re drowning in a sea of ego, narcissism, ignorance, and evil.
Everyone seems to be obsessed with things that don’t matter in the grand scheme of things. And let me tell you, being around that kind of energy drain is like trying to swim in metaphysical molasses!
But here’s the good news: often the best antidote is simply to “be,” to soak up the stillness and let our minds do their thing. So, take a deep, mindful breath, smile, and bask in the sweet, sweet bliss of your inner love and light. Whenever you can, reconnect with your soul and dive deep into the serenity of solitude and silence.
Finding Your Strength And Peace In Difficult Times
I’ve noticed many of my clients feeling as though the world is crumbling around them lately, unsure of how to navigate the chaos that surrounds them.
If this is true for you, then it is essential to remind yourself that the actions and choices of others do not define your path – it’s theirs to walk, not yours. Your focus should remain on your journey and how you can positively impact the world around you. Spirit has been very clear in its guidance in this regard.
Everyone has something in their soul that they need to release, move past and grow from or it will just karmically repeat itself in every lifetime. Let go of trying to fix other people or solve their problems and just move forward with your own life. Do not give your power away to anyone, for Source is with you and always wants you to keep your power.
If you find yourself constantly watching the news, engaging with negative content on social media, or dealing with recent grief from the loss of loved ones to suicide, terminal illness, or strained relationships, it’s time to take a step back and ground yourself.
Grief, stress, and anxiety can take a toll on your mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. During these times, reconnecting with your spirituality and grounding yourself can provide comfort, strength, and a sense of peace. It is important that you do not let go of your inner power or allow the outside world to suck the life out of you.
The Subtle Psychic Power Of Flower Essences
Flower essences are one of my favorite spiritual resources. These vibrational imprints of flowers in water, preserved with alcohol, are a powerful tool for personal and spiritual development. They have been used for centuries to promote emotional well-being, balance and healing.
I come from a long line of female herbalists on my mother’s side of the family. They were seers, healers and mystics who combined their psychic gifts with natural healing practices.
That’s why I’ve always been interested in the metaphysical properties of plants, especially herbs and flowers. I love to alchemize them into tinctures, potions and remedies!
The main reason I love flower essences and remedies in particular is that, unlike essential oils and herbal remedies, flower essences are easier and safer to work with on a subtle energy level over the long term, making them particularly effective for enhancing psychic development and spiritual growth.
Flower essences were popularized in the early 20th century by Dr. Edward Bach. He was a British homeopath and bacteriologist who believed that the dew collected from flowers contained the healing properties of the plant. His research led to the creation of the Bach Flower Remedies, a set of 38 essences, each targeting a specific emotional state.
Bach’s remedies were based on the idea that certain flowers have healing properties that can help balance emotional states and promote overall well-being. Dr. Bach believed that emotional and mental states significantly influence physical health, and by addressing negative emotions, one can facilitate healing and prevent illness.
The Mystical Properties Of Ancient Amber
Crystals, gemstones, and incense have been widely used in spiritual, esoteric, and healing practices throughout the ages and continue to be popular today.
But there is another type of natural material that does not enjoy the same level of widespread recognition and popularity, despite its unique metaphysical properties and significance in various cultures and mystical traditions.
Resins are less well known and used by modern practitioners. I find that many people are unfamiliar with the various types of resins available and their metaphysical properties.
Compared to crystals, gemstones, and incense, which have gained widespread popularity in recent years, especially through social media and the Internet, resins have received less attention and exposure.
As a result, people may be less likely to encounter resins in their exploration of metaphysical tools and practices.
I also find that people who are at least somewhat familiar with resins tend to associate them with their use as incense. Resins such as frankincense, myrrh, copal, and others are often burned as incense to purify spaces, objects, and individuals. The smoke cleanses negative energies, purifies the aura, and creates a sacred atmosphere for rituals and ceremonies. Continue reading
Energy Self-Care Strategies For Empaths And Sensitives
Empaths and highly sensitive people (HSPs) often feel drained by other people and certain environments due to their inherently sensitive nature and the way they interact with the world around them.
We face unique physical, mental, emotional and spiritual challenges because of our innate ability to deeply feel and absorb the thoughts, emotions and energies of those around us. While our sensitivity is a blessing and a gift to the world, it can also become a curse through overwhelming experiences of empathic overload and energy depletion.
Energetic self-care is therefore of paramount importance to the sensitive person. Every empath or HSP should adopt a daily routine of energetic self-care practices designed to cleanse, protect and rejuvenate their aura or personal energy field.
Mastering these practices is not only beneficial to our health and well-being, it’s essential for maintaining holistic balance, protecting our mental health in particular, and nurturing our deep connection to the world and those around us.
As empaths and HSPs, we can manage our energy more effectively by employing several strategies that help us maintain our energetic well-being, while navigating a world that can often feel overwhelming. The following are essential tools and strategies that can empower empaths and HSPs to thrive in their sensitivity and turn their deep empathy into their greatest strength through effective energetic self-care:
Daily Practices That Give Me Inner Peace
Finding moments of quiet and spiritual renewal is more important than ever in today’s world, where we are constantly bombarded with information.
A spiritual self-care routine empowers us and increases our energy. It acts as an anchor, grounding us and providing stability and calm in the ebb and flow of life.
Over the years, I have developed certain daily practices that I find most effective for keeping me focused on my personal goals, to ensure my spiritual grounding and energetic well-being in the midst of daily challenges and sometimes chaos.
Morning Meditation
I like to start my day with a mindfulness meditation to establish a foundation of calm for the day ahead. It prevents a potential onslaught of stress and anxiety and replaces it with a peaceful heart and clear mind.
Spending a few moments each morning sitting in silence allows me to connect with my inner self and establish peace and intention. For me, this practice isn’t just about closing my eyes and sitting still; it’s an opportunity to observe my thoughts without judgment, to find clarity and calm, and to center my mind.
Transform Your Chores Into Moments Of Zen
I recently had to find my “inner zen” when I had to file my taxes in person. Even though I was really, really not in the mood and not looking forward to it at all, I decided to make the most of this dreaded chore by practicing a time-tested spiritual technique of just being present in the moment. This attitude made my day so much easier and more fulfilling.
As I waited in line at the tax office, I couldn’t help but overhear a less than happy man ranting in one of the booths. I felt bad because, well, we are all human and this is about paying taxes, for goodness sake! We can hardly blame others for reacting this way. I mean, who really enjoys doing their taxes?
But I think it’s better to stay calm and carry on, because in the end everything will be fine. Having a “panic attack” or “hissy fit” like the guy in that booth won’t change the situation, except to make it worse. I know from experience that keeping an inner calm always wins the day.
If you have to deal with a chore or task that you are not looking forward to, try to embrace it and immerse yourself in the experience rather than making it worse by creating a lot of resistance around it. There is a lot of ancient wisdom in “being present in the now.” It is no accident that this concept is rooted in various spiritual traditions and teachings throughout history, as it points to a universal truth that is essential for spiritual living and personal well-being.
