The Transformative Power Of Silent Meditation

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comSpirituality is perceived in the East with many similarities to what is believed in the West, but with an entirely different way of talking about it. For example, in terms of Easter philosophy a person’s individual identity is not their ego.

Identity is the journey of self-discovery that consists of affirming one’s individuality and being able to express everything that we are. This can be achieved through meditation, prayer, or various other spiritual and recreational practices that clear the mind through engaging in an activity that soothes us and brings us into silent contemplation.

Silence does not detach us from our soul essence. On the contrary, it allows us to be fully present and completely ourselves, without the limitation of words and actions. It is not aimed at denying our true spiritual nature. On the contrary, it is a time of authentic self-awareness and beingness.

Different Buddhist traditions refer to the natural state of mind as a state of enlightenment. In the Sanskrit and Tibetan traditions, we also find terms that speak of a clear, open mind. In Tibetan philosophy, enlightenment or awakened energy is called byang-chubs – literally purity and wholeness.

Being calm, at ease, and silent constitutes a state of mind that would happen naturally unless something is bothering us. These internal obstacles cannot be blamed on others or our external reality. Life is always complex and rarely calm.

In fact, these obstructions are seen as being nothing but habits, the result of karma, that obstruct the free and unconditional luminosity of the mind, like clouds that cover the sun on a summer day. Karma does not mean punishment. It is the result of previous actions. They are the result of what we do and what happens to us.

Using Candles In Your Spiritual Practice

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comWe cannot control our broader environment or the world we live in. But we can be an active metaphysical force in how things ultimately play out in our own lives.

No matter what the circumstances, we are able to bring healing light and the power of prayer into every situation, and thus have a more self-empowered conversation with the deeper layers of reality.

Our mindset and expectations already influence the world around us. But most of us do this unconsciously, without deliberate intention or clear direction. And sometimes we allow our fears and worries run wild, creating dark mirages in our mind that eventually take shape in the material world as mishaps of our own creation.

Writing down what we want for our lives is a positive first step towards becoming a more deliberate manifestor. This is not because writing is inherently magical or spiritual, but because it focuses our minds on setting clear intentions and clarifying what it is we hope to attract.

Working with candles is equally effective. It aids our mental visualization and purpose-making with fire. Fire has always been a powerful symbol and tool in metaphysics, spirituality, and the occult. Candles are traditionally used in many spiritual practices, rites, ceremonies and rituals. Communicating our desires to a candle flame is a magical prayer or meditation technique.

If you are looking to introduce candles into your spiritual practice or energy work, be sure to look beyond the obvious supermarket or gift shop candles. These days, one can find some amazing candles for at metaphysical stores and on esoteric websites. Some suppliers carry several types of unusual candles with diverse shapes, colors and uses. A  modern trend is the so-called celebrity prayer candle that is becoming increasingly popular.

Free Your Soul From Toxic Negativity

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comIt is usually advisable to get over it and move on. When we continue to vent about people or things that annoy or frustrate us, or when we cannot forgive someone who has wronged us, and we go on, and on, and on about it, we are affirming the negative and attracting more of the same energy into our life.

Revenge or vitriol does absolutely no harm to another person, only to the person pursuing it. Anger or hatred does not affect the other person, only the person sending it out. What comes from your own spirit, your thoughts, words, actions, is what you will create in your own life. You are hurting or changing no one with your negative feelings other than yourself.

That person who hurt you has moved on with their life. In fact, they might even be living their best life, while you are still stuck and stagnant in the pain and misery of the past. It only becomes baggage that carries forward into the now, and into the future.

I once had a client who obsessively held onto anger, hatred, spite, and revenge towards her ex for over a decade.  She could not figure out why every new relationship and project in her life since then failed miserably, usually with almost the same endings.

Finally, after years of struggling to bring her different insights, she was able to look at the person who hurt her, release his memory with loving, forgiving energy, and let the whole thing go. Then, as I had predicted, the next person who came into her life was everything she had always wanted in a partner!

In fact, her new beloved was far better than anything she ever had with Mr. Most Hated, before it went wrong, and had she continued on her path of anger and toxic baggage carrying, this new love miracle would most likely never have happened.

The Power Of Deep Breathing

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comIt is not generally understood how important deep, healthy, mindful breathing truly is. In fact, shallow breathing is linked to all kinds of health problems, including panic attacks, dry mouth, halitosis, cardiovascular issues, fatigue, respiratory problems, and sleep disorders. When we breathe with our chests, we use the muscles in our chests, shoulders, and necks to expand our lungs, which can result in neck pain, shoulder pain and headaches.

Most importantly, shallow breathing also hinders our immune functioning. The chronic stress and strain it places on the body, results in lower amounts of lymphocyte – a type of white blood cell that helps to defend the body from invading organisms. Shallow breathing actually lowers the amounts of proteins that signal other immune cells. The body thus becomes more likely to acute illnesses.

Deep, diaphragmatic breathing, on the other hand, can lower blood pressure, calm the mind, and improve sleep. It also lowers our heart rate, relaxes muscles, decreases stress, and increases energy levels.

Deep breathing also grounds and centers us. It has been proven to have a profound calming effect on the mind and body. When you are anxious, you take rapid short breaths. When you are content, you take deep, long, full breaths.

The way we breath also affects our mental abilities and thinking. Programming your brain when inhaling can lock thoughts into your memory and can be a powerful tool in our daily spiritual practice. Thinking or saying out loud affirmations like, ‘I am love and light; God and I, me and God are one; I am able to accomplish anything I want; I am powerful;’ will lock those thoughts into your psyche.

Align Your Spirit With Prayer And Meditation

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI’ve heard it said that religion is for people who are afraid of ‘going to hell,’ and spirituality is for people who have already been there. However, I don’t believe either are exclusive; a person can be both religious and spiritual, and a person can choose to be only one, or neither.

Spirituality is in my view a state of mind, a way of life, the way you think about others and yourself, and the way you treat others. All that’s really necessary to be a ‘spiritual’ person is having the faith or belief that there is something greater than just yourself.

I watched a National Geographic documentary once that explained that everything in the world – all the plants, all the animals and insects, and humans – share the same basic DNA at its very core. I feel like any time we acknowledge that there is something bigger beyond ourselves, we are tapping into this entire DNA string, everything that once was currently is, and one day will be.

I therefore see my role on this earth as small, but significant; short, but far-reaching.

I am not a particularly religious person, but for me to be effective when I read for others, I have to be firmly connected to what I call ‘The Universe,’ or what others might call God, Goddess, Source, Great Spirit, the Divine. And prayer and meditation are how I express my gratitude and ask to be guided.

Both prayer and meditation are powerful metaphysical resources to tap into as part of your daily spiritual practice. I usually combine prayer and meditation, but these are my personal spiritual habits, so do what’s right for you. And if it doesn’t work at first, keep trying.

Meditation has been practiced since ancient times, it is how you find your center, clear yourself, listen for the answers. In meditation, we can work on ourselves, align our physical self with our psychological self, balance chakras, heal ourselves.  It can be used to alleviate stress, calm anxieties, control pain, help us sleep better.

Your Thoughts Will Transform Your Life!

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI have some fantastic news for you today! You can have a magical year if you choose it! The magic is within you. If you truly believe you are going to have a fantastic year ahead, you indeed will. What we think and choose to believe becomes our reality.

You don’t believe me? Well, think about this for a moment: I am sure you know a few fairly negative people whose lives are always in chaotic upheaval or consumed with toxic drama. You probably also know some amazingly optimistic, positive folks whose lives always seem blessed, happy and full of joy… even when things are not necessarily always going well for them. Their good karma inevitably comes to the rescue to bless them!

We create our destiny, and we do it with our thoughts. Let your thoughts direct your path to happiness, health, abundance, and good, positive people around you! You are more powerful than you may know, and it starts with your thoughts and how you choose to perceive things. Tuning into that higher frequency is where it is at!

If you want things to change for the better in your life you need to switch from being negative to thinking positive. The power is in your thoughts. What you choose to think is what you put out into the universe and what you will in return attract.

I have known many folks indulge in constant self-pity and blame others for where they are in life. No one else is responsible for where we are in life. We are in control of our lives and our own karma We are the ones who can make or break our own day, week, month, and year. It all starts with what we choose to focus on and what we chose to spend our time and energy on.

It’s time to take responsibility for where we are in life and to start making it happen. The time is now. Anything is possible. You just have to believe and take some action.

Being Relaxed Is Good

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comIt is difficult for most of us to enjoy a few moments of deep relaxation and inner peace. The many pressures of modern life seldom affords us the bliss of such a ‘luxury.’

A relaxed mindset if vital for our spiritual well-being and soul growth. When we are in a relaxed state, we are better able to channel our higher self and be aware of what our angels and guides are saying to us. But when we are inundated with the chaos of the world, we cannot connect with that higher frequency and we miss all the good things spirit has to offer.

So, I asked spirit what busy humans can do to be more relaxed more often. I received the answer from a cashier who, after I had paid said goodbye with a smile I will never forget and said, “Being relaxed is good.”

I just nodded and said, “Yes, yes indeed it is.”

In our busy lives we forget how important it is to take some time out for self-care. And when we do, we realize what we have been missing!

I believe the best starting point is healthy sleep. Taking the time to get a good night’s rest empowers us to wake up and find that life doesn’t seem quite as difficult as it seemed the day before. Good, adequate sleep helps us see life through the lens of a more relaxed mindset.

Being well-rested is good.

A few additional lifestyle choices that are not so difficult to achieve can further enhance a relaxed state of mind. These include healthy eating and proper nutrition, exercise, taking warm baths, meditating, reading a good book before bedtime, and so on. Continue reading
