When Spiritual Leaders Let Us Down
It is a hard lesson for some of us to learn that people are just people. We are all capable of good and evil. The difference is the choices that are made on how to handle our emotions and feelings.
When you put faith and trust in an individual and are let down, you start to second guess your decisions and lose some faith in yourself to make wise decisions. It can leave a big hole in your heart and create trust issues in the future.
It seems impossible for a person who has done remarkable good deeds to also choose to do bad things. We must realize that all people have temptations in life. Some people can avoid the albatross on their back, while others simply cannot. It takes a very strong person to walk their talk.
The same applies to ‘highly spiritual’ people, because some healers, gurus and spiritual leaders certainly have had their own cross to bear.
Why I Do Readings
The main thing I notice about being a channel is the focus on what healing is, its purpose, and how being a healer in service to others is held against being selfish.
If someone is fulfilled by sacrificial service (victim-savior relations) and this is their mission in life, then they would likely derive the greatest joys from this kind of sacrifice, because Spirit would bring them seekers who want that type of service. It is a sacrifice, indeed, although often cleverly disguised as a helping venue.
In any case, one can pick any way of healing that resonates for you. For me, I find that I prefer to educate my clients in terms of what an empath can and cannot (or should not do) in my opinion. Personally, I am not fulfilled by victim-savior scenarios. I don’t find them to be healthy on any level.
All the same, I used to fall into the trap of trying to ‘fix’ people, to the point that it was my main modus operandi in life – being prey for others that are seeking life source energy from others. I discontinued doing that when I realized several truths:
The Departure Of Miss Emeylia
I have been receiving visitations from the very kind spirit of a lady for the past year and a half. Through automatic writing I was able to find out her name. Miss Emeylia.
She came by foot in her flight to freedom and was staying where I had found her, but ended up dying there decades and decades ago. There is the remainder of what was once an underground shelter in the basement of a popular restaurant, which I often frequented when I first saw and met her. She followed me home and has been here ever since.

Trance, Transfiguration And Channeling
When an authentic psychic medium is doing a reading, they are entering into varying levels of trance, or altered states of consciousness, to access information from the Spirit realm. The Collins dictionary defines this as “a state of mind in which someone seems to be asleep and to have no conscious control over their thoughts or actions, but in which they can see and hear things and respond to commands given by other people.”
Each reader has their own process of making the connection and style of disseminating the information. Not only are psychic readers ‘seeing’ and ‘hearing’ things, and responding to commands from the Spirit side of life, but they are simultaneously also energetically connected with the client and walking between the two realms, namely that of the Spirit realm and the present moment.
Night Owls
I am a typical night owl. ‘Night owl’ is the nickname often given to people who are typically awake late at night, while the rest of the world are asleep and dreaming. I believe as long as one gets enough sleep to maintain your health, it really doesn’t matter whether you are a night owl… or an early bird. ‘Early bird’ is, of course, the nickname that is usually assigned to the early risers.
This brings up a question that my clients and students ask a lot. Why do I wake up almost every night between 3:00 and 4:30am? Well, it’s traditionally called the ‘witching hour.’ As a psychic medium I know from experience that this is the time when spirit can come through more easily, because there is more moisture in the air at this time of the night. We are bio-electrical beings and spirit is pure energy. With water being a conductor for electricity, it makes sense it would be easier for them to communicate with us at this time.

The Hall of Records, also known as the Akashic Records, is like a spiritual library that exists beyond time and space. It is here that I will go to get information on all that has been, all that is, and all that will be.
