The Loving Intent Of Distant Energy Healing
I am a member of a remote healing group in which all participants receive healing energy once a month. We all simply set the intention to receive the energy healing on an agreed upon date and time. Even when some of us forget about it, when we are asleep, for instance, the healing still takes place and works when the time comes.
I have been dealing with pain and discomfort due to a fall I suffered three years ago, and the energy healings give me some relief every month, at least for a few days. I still must use the parts of my body that were injured in my daily life, so unfortunately the original injuries have never been able to properly heal. However, the relief from pain, even if it is just a few days, is a blessing.
I also do long-distance energy healing for others. I usually do it anonymously for people who I see on social media struggling. I do not tell them I am doing it for them, because they don’t need to know for it to work.
In return, I get a ‘high’ feeling whenever I do energy work, because the energy passes though me – in through the crown chakra, through the heart chakra, and out through my arms, before passing on to another person.
So, how does energy healing work? Well, intent is energy. If our intention is to heal anyone that we feel connected to energetically, then the energy flows to the person. We don’t even need to know their name or see their face.
Ravished By A Sacred Centaur
I have studied healing for many years. Since making a conscious decision to embark on my true life journey, I have experienced many powerful teachers. Much of my work has taken me into uncharted waters and I have learned to welcome diving deep.
As the world speeds up, I have slowed down over this last portion of my life, to recover from an illness that I thought might take my life. This process has brought me to waters so uncharted they seem otherworldly, and perhaps they are. Fortunately, I have fully re-entered the world I thought I might have to leave, and fully accept the entire experience as a blessing.
Over this time, I encountered Chiron, the original Wounded Healer. He is a centaur in Greek mythology who was gravely injured and had the opportunity to forever leave his battlefield for the Garden of the Gods. But he chose to stay on the battlefield instead of going to paradise, in order to assist others who were wounded.
I have known Chiron practically all my life, so having a rendezvous him at a major crossroads in my life was no surprise. What was however totally surprising, was that this time I finally fell in love with this benevolent being.
There were many times, especially this last time, when I ran from Chiron’s embrace. I needed to be back in the world I had left behind, where I am primarily committed to helping others. However, there is also a practical reality to deal with. Our modern world is not an easy place to thrive in. Many barely survive physically, mentally or emotionally.
There is also an unspoken, yet imposed maximum period of recovery from illness, much like the time allotted to grief in our culture – a brief period before we are expected to re-engage with the ‘normal’ world and get on with life. But both healing and grief are highly personal journeys, and how it uniquely unfolds for each person is not for others to dictate, prescribe or judge.
Healing With Herbs
The past two years I have turned increasingly to herbs for natural healing. A good friend told me about herbs and how they help her family and I begin to do research. Soon I started taking herbs and have had excellent results.
Herbal medicine has gone from alternative to mainstream. The proper use of many common herbs (some of which can be easily grown at home) can help keep you healthy. Try herbal infusions in teas, lotions and soaps to see what works best for you.
You may not know the many uses for these common herbs and plant extracts, so I have compiled a list of those I often use in my personal life:
Ginger – known as the ‘universal medicine’ in Ayurvedic tradition for its many uses, including anti-nausea and motion sickness, digestive aid, and circulatory aid. It can be consumed in powder or fresh form.
Basil – has a spicy scent which can be used to revive faintness. It is also useful for an overactive thyroid, improving one’s concentration, and as an antioxidant packed with Vitamins A and C.
Curry – like ginger it is a popular herb in Ayurvedic medicine. Some of its uses include pain relief, ‘brain power’ to help ward off Alzheimer’s disease, and antioxidant. It also has been shown to improve skin tone.
Peppermint – thought to be the world’s oldest herbal remedy. It is used to combat nausea and vomiting, increase mental stimulation, and boost energy levels. It can also be used as a mild analgesic.
Parsley – in addition to being a popular food garnish it helps prevent gall bladder infections and kidney stones. It’s also loaded with antioxidant and deodorizing properties.
The Gift Of Spiritual Healing
Spiritual or psychic healing, or you can call it energy healing, is also a gift of mediumship, because the healer is working as a channel, for advanced spirits to work through.
All of my life I have had visions, spirit communications and all of that, but I would often also dream about and witness medical surgeries taking place. Some of it is pretty gory, and I would wake up and wonder why?
As time went by the reason became clear to me. I discovered that it was part of my life purpose and I started working with a healing group. They were, and still are, wonderful! There are a lot of different forms of healing. I believe that in a future world, psychic healers, physicians, and psychiatrists will all work together in the healing of human and animals.
There is much involved with psychic healing. One must learn to align your body, mind, and soul to the person being healed. And one must also have permission from the person to conduct the healing. If they cannot communicate, you can ask them telepathically.
Some healings are complete, where the patient becomes free of the disease, and recovers. Others are only partial healings, and this happens when the disease is karmic, and necessary, for the spiritual growth of the person. Even if the patient crosses over, believe it or not, the healing has still taken place!
For the past 16 years, I have been working with a very great healer in spirit. I have witnessed him do some pretty amazing things, for both humans and animals. He is especially skilled with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and tumors.
For a while I was saving baby kitties that had lost their mothers. Their lives are important too. He saved two kittens that were on the brink of death. One of the kittens I really fell in love with. She was a tortoiseshell cat, and very, very tiny. I had her and her two sisters that I was taking care of.
Finding Comfort In A Healing Circle
It seems like every day is a psychic adventure. From the moment I wake up until bed time my brain is working psychically. Except sometimes, when things do not go according to plan – then I know something must work out karmically.
My health is not always the best. It is funny, with my illnesses; I never expect them to come on the way they do. When I was younger, I was always healthy as a horse, because I was a dancer practicing three or four hours every day. I also did readings, and I waitressed for breakfast and lunch in restaurants. I was very strong and active, and for many years there were no sick days for me!
My psychic mentor, Grace Cade, was a reader and also a healer. She looked at me one day and said, “Go and see a doctor, because I see a blockage inside of you.” At first she said it looked like the problem was with my heart, then she said it is the gallbladder. I was not sure what to think, but she turned out to be right thirty years later, when I had to have a gallbladder operation and some surgery on my stomach too. I also had spots on my right kidney.
At the time, I prayed to the Mother Mary and Saint Raphael, the greatest healer. I also continued to attend the healing circle that was established by Grace. We are a group of people who found each other through this healing circle. We worked together in past lives. I feel we are all connected spiritually, and always will be. Grace always said anyone who requests the help of the circle and needs it will never be turned away.
My father had a bad stroke years ago and he wasn’t expected to live. My mom thought I was fantasizing too much, but I called my healing group. We took about a half hour with him, praying, meditating and sending a beautiful light energy to him. He was in the hospital when this took place, but psychically he was in the center of our circle. Well, he did heal up very nicely, faster than any doctor thought he would, and he went to live for another 15 years.
