Finding Your Tribe

click here to get a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comAfter returning from a Tarot conference recently, I thought about how being in community with like-minded souls raises our individual and collective vibration. It inspires and supports us in many ways. To show up and be seen gets our creative juices flowing, assists us to dream a new dream, dust off that idea or project we put on the shelf, meet new people, and it speaks volumes about self-care and extending a hand to others. It reminded me of the African Proverb: “If you want to travel fast, go alone. If you want to travel far, go together.”

Being part of a community that is involved with the things we love puts us back in the flow of life. It is one of many reminders that we are not alone and challenges us to say yes to life. It assists us in examining how we are showing up for not only our life, but for others. It brings us back on the path of our life purpose. We see or hear the challenges others are going through and become inspired by their bravery. We as individuals and a community then find ways to support each other not only through the challenging times, but in our accomplishments or works in progress. We are all unique souls coming together, with others making a space for us to celebrate who we are and what we create. Conscious Conflict Resolution

click here to get a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comDealing with tension and conflict is one of the most challenging relationship dynamics anyone can deal with in life. How many times have you found yourself in a yelling match with someone you love? Or ending an argument with a friend or relative feeling miserable, and unresolve?

Getting to the root of an issue without all the drama sometimes can feel impossible. But conflict resolution is a skill, and one that can be honed with practice and patience. Here are some practical steps to help you shift from reaction, to consciously seeking resolution when faced with difficult conversations.

Soul Connections

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comSome clients who contact me for relationship psychic readings often ask why they can’t seem to forget their former partner. The ex seems to be on their mind constantly, even though it has been a long time since seeing each other. There is often a very clear metaphysical reason for this phenomenon when there is a soul connection. When your former partner is thinking powerful thoughts about you, it telepathically manifests as thoughts in your own mind. Their thought energy is basically transferred to you, because it is directed at you. Think of yourself as an ‘antenna’ picking up your ex’s every thought and every emotion about you.

My Angel Shashunda says the petty, physical human brain may keep two souls apart, but they they can and usually will exit the physical body once they go into the rapid eye movement (REM) during deep sleep. When this happens, the two spiritually connected souls hang out together. During these astral encounters the two of them are having fun, laugh together, and exchange deep love between them, often spanning many lifetimes.  This fun time together will sometimes manifest as a dream. Both souls then return back to their physical bodies before the human brain awakens. Continue reading

When The Moon Goes Into ‘Void Of Course’

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comEvery now and then a pause occurs with the Moon. It literally takes a brief nap, as it sits in-between astrological transits. These momentary gear shifts encourage us to fall back on new adventures, or focus on important endeavors.

The concept is known as the Void of Course (VOC) and dates back to the Hellenistic Astrology of the First Century CE. It refers to that period of time when the Moon is no longer aspecting any planets in the most recent sign it was in, but has also not yet aspected any planets in the next sign it will enter.

I try not to let Astrology dictate my life, but important aspects should be taken into consideration to produce the best results, especially when the Moon is involved!

Each month, I write down on my calendar the times of the VOC and avoid certain activities, so I can save myself energy and time. This information is easily accessible via the Internet these days, but the times given should be adjusted according to your time zone.

Here are some do’s and don’ts to follow when the Moon is in the VOC. Continue reading

Pay Attention To Your Dreams

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI believe that all dreams have some level of meaning and value in our lives. Dreaming is not only the way the subconscious deals with our time-space, physical reality, but they often also have psychic or spiritual significance. I am a strong advocate of paying attention to our dreams, rather than just relegating them to the sidelines of our human experience.

Even our so-called ‘pizza dreams’ can hold significant meaning in our life. Pizza dreams are highly realistic and very bizarre dreams that we often believe actually happened when we wake up, despite them being outrageously improbable. They are called pizza dreams, because of the urban myth that we tend to have these disturbing dreams after eating too much pizza before we go to bed.

In working with dreams, the best thing you can do is to keep a record. Always keep a dream journal on your nightstand, or near your bed, along with a small, soft light and a pen. Whenever you awaken from a dream, write it down as many details as you can remember. This may initially only be a few key moments from the dream, but if you make this a habit you will eventually begin to remember more and more details from your dreams. Write everything down, no matter how weird or peculiar it may seem.

There are a few key things to remember when you begin the process of interpreting dreams. Firstly, intuitive dreams use symbolic language. There are a few general archetypes within dreams that are common symbols connected to the collective unconscious, but many symbols within dreams are usually individualized symbols. Your Self-Imposed Prison Of Thought

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comYou reap what you sow. As a man thinketh, so he is. You are what you eat. Create a vision board, hold that thought and see your goal come to fruition. What we think is what we manifest.

These are probably some of the most common and regularly used phrases to redesign and renovate the thoughts and movements of our lives. They work for some people, when placed in the scope of their reality. But why work only for some and not for others?

The answer I received from spirit was odd, to say the least: “One thousand times in his head he is in a big, famous prison.” This is what was related to me in my sleep state and Spirit must have felt it was of some importance, because they chose to wake me from a sound sleep in order to hear the message clearly… and resoundingly.

My first thought was: what on earth is this? What could it possibly mean? Then, as I delved into it further, I could discovered the true meaning.

The only famous prison I am personally aware of is Alcatraz. Just saying that name sends shudders to many people who have actually visited the place.

Next I thought of a human being found guilty of a crime and then have the most severe punishment handed out, of being sent to that dreadful place. I can only imagine what that must be like: locked up for an indeterminate amount of time, no freedom, and only periodically getting out for a breather. Imagine the rest of the inmates, the fearing for your safety and the struggle to survive. Continue reading

Be Judgmental

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comIn this age of being politically correct, some might actually stop reading after seeing the title of this blog post. Please don’t. People these days might accept the terms discernment, or judgment call, but never judgment! But there is no problem with having a judgment. The issue is what you choose to do with that judgment (or judgment call, or discernment). What matters is how you respond to your inner voice judging what is happening. It matters a great deal.

If you have been raised to put others before yourself, you have been taught to not protect yourself, but rather to put the needs, wants and desires of others first. The false belief is that this is done in order to protect yourself, to survive. If you have not questioned your past, or worked on learning about, or healing, your childhood (which happened on purpose as part of your incarnation, and therefore is a key element of exploration for you to advance in soul evolution) you will not even know that putting others first is your default setting. It will simply be ‘normal’ for you, while you continue to wonder why certain patterns of you getting ‘slammed,’ or getting taken advantage of, keep happening.

You cannot heal what you do not know. Children of alcoholics, or addicts, or narcissists, or childhood trauma (war, earthquakes, divorce, death, poverty) often learn that they have to suppress who they are, what they want or need, even what they think, in order to become what someone else wanted them to be, in order to survive, in order to live.
