Practices For Developing Your Psychic Awareness
Are you curious about increasing your intuitive awareness or developing your innate psychic abilities? Great! But how do you get started? It can seem like a daunting task, but it’s actually easier than you might think. But it does take some dedication.
Like any other talent, psychic ability can be practiced and improved with dedication and commitment. While some of us may have a stronger natural inclination toward psychic perception, everyone has the ability to improve their intuitive abilities through conscious effort, dedication, and practice.
Just as musicians hone their craft through consistent practice and athletes hone their skills through training, developing psychic talents requires a similarly disciplined approach. Regular practice will not only sharpen your existing skills, but can also unlock hidden potential you never knew you possessed.
By engaging in psychic development exercises, complemented by appropriate spiritual practices, anyone can sharpen their intuition and psychic awareness and become more attuned to subtle energies and impressions. However, it’s important to approach this journey with an open mind and a willingness to explore the depths of your consciousness.
Cultivating psychic abilities also requires patience and self-discovery. As you embark on this path, you may discover unique strengths and intuitive abilities that are waiting to be developed. With perseverance and a positive attitude, you can embark on a transformative journey to expand your psychic awareness and harness your innate potential.
Astrology Forecast May 20 – 26, 2024
This week’s astrovibes will be dominated by Gemini energies and a lot of social activity. It begins with the Sun entering Gemini and the Moon entering Scorpio this morning, creating an interesting energy dynamic.
Gemini is light-hearted and adaptable, while Scorpio is intense and focused. Finding a balance between these energies will be key during this transit. You may need to navigate between exploring new ideas and diving deep into emotional matters without becoming overwhelmed.
With the Moon in Scorpio, emotions may also be more pronounced and sensitive. Be aware of how you express yourself and how others around you may be feeling. It’s a good time for honest and authentic communication, but also for respecting boundaries and emotional privacy.
The Moon will be full in Sagittarius early Thursday, bringing a burst of enthusiasm, a desire to explore, and a sense of optimism about the future. This can be a great time to set goals, take risks, and embrace new experiences. We may feel inspired to seek truth, meaning, and deeper understanding, and may be drawn to philosophical or spiritual pursuits in order to expand our knowledge and broaden our perspective.
On Thursday afternoon, Venus enters Gemini, bringing a shift in our approach to relationships and social activities. We may feel more inclined to socialize, engage in lively conversation, and connect with people who share our interests. In particular, this transit favors relationships that are mentally stimulating and allow for freedom and flexibility.
Release Your Attachment To Attract ‘Zen Love’
I have talked to so many people over the years who desperately want someone special to come into their lives, but it never seems to happen for them. They wonder why they can’t connect with anyone, why they never seem to find true and lasting love.
When I do readings for them, Spirit often reveals that the root of the problem is that they either want it too much, or they turn themselves and the other person they are trying to attract into “polar magnets,” pushing each other away instead of being attracted to each other.
In order to attract what you want into your life, you have to let go of any attachment to the outcome, stay clear of any negative emotions, self-sabotage, and limiting beliefs, and essentially allow it to come to you without any obsession or force. I call this attracting “Zen love.
Zen love is finding someone when you are not really looking. It’s when you want it, but you don’t want it so desperately that it just doesn’t happen. I equate it to thinking about someone and then letting go of the thought. It is usually when you let go that they suddenly call you on the phone.
You put out the intention to meet someone special and then you let it go. That is being “in Zen. Not forcing it. Going on with your life and staying positive and just having that inner knowing that everything is going to be okay. That inner knowing without any added force allows good things to come to you.
Meanwhile, if you really want someone special to come into your life, instead of constantly dwelling on it or stressing about it, be proactive and put that wasted energy to better use. Get out more, live wholeheartedly, go places and do things.
Using Essential Oils To Enhance Your Psychic Awareness
Essential oils have many esoteric uses beyond traditional aromatherapy. In fact, many experienced spiritual seekers use essential oils in their daily practices. But what is less well known is that these magical oils can also be used to enhance intuition and promote psychic awareness.
Aromatic substances also help increase focus and clarity during meditation, divination, energy healing, and psychic reading. By engaging the sense of smell, you can more effectively anchor your awareness in the present moment, reduce distractions, and promote a state of mindfulness or psychic attunement to open your channels of intuition. I also feel more attuned to subtle energies and spirit presences when I use aromatherapy in my psychic work.
Essential oils are a wonderful spiritual tool that promote relaxation, mental clarity and emotional balance, which in turn creates a conducive environment for exploring your intuition and inner awareness.
Smell is closely linked to the limbic system in the brain, which is associated with emotions, memories, and instinctual responses. When we encounter a particular scent, it can evoke strong emotional or subconscious reactions. In spiritual practices, certain scents can trigger deep-seated feelings or associations, helping to create a particular mental or emotional state conducive to psychic experiences.
Overall, the power of scent and aroma in spiritual and esoteric practices is multifaceted, involving a combination of sensory, psychological, cultural, and symbolic factors. Aromas serve as powerful tools for creating sacred spaces, enhancing psychic experiences, and facilitating inner transformation through their profound influence on the mind, body, and spirit.
Don’t Panic, It May Just Be A Divine Intervention!
From the beginning of my spiritual career, my guides taught me that we are given three things in life: opportunity, choice, and free will. Simply put, when we choose from the options that are presented to us, we exercise our right to free will and largely determine our own future.
While this is quite an empowering thought for most of us, there are times in our lives when Spirit feels that we are very much on the wrong track and will actually change our circumstances for us. While this does not happen very often, I will use my own situation as an example of why they do sometimes interfere with our free will.
Back in 1984, when I was 24 years old, all I wanted to be was a stenotypist. I was so determined to get what was then considered a very prestigious job that I went to college, worked hard, passed my exams, was proactive, and finally got a job with the local government.
I could not believe my luck, as the salary was about £5,000 per year, which is about $6,300 – certainly not bad almost 32 years ago! I thought I had struck gold, but things got even better when I started dating the man who worked in the office next door. Life could not be better (or so I thought) as I had the man, the career, the money – everything! Unfortunately, disaster soon struck.
My boyfriend left me, the girls in the office made fun of me, my boss and his secretary bullied me, and finally I lost my job. Suddenly I found myself in the middle of a recession, with no relationship, no job, no money, no prospects, and I couldn’t even get a reference!
Why, oh why, did this happen to me? I didn’t deserve this! I had worked so hard. I am a good person. I always strive to be a decent friend and colleague. Yet, I was being treated so unfairly.
Substance Abuse Destroys Relationships And Families
We all put a lot of time, effort, and resources into our relationships. From dating to marriage and parenthood, each stage comes with its own mix of joys and challenges. But amidst these milestones, it’s natural to ask: Is our relationship nurturing our spiritual well-being?
Think about the impact your partner has on your mental health and spiritual well-being. Is your relationship deepening your connection with God, Source, Spirit, or the Divine? Is it nurturing and protecting your children and loved ones? Or do you feel a subtle drift away from what really matters?
It’s a common scenario — an intimate relationship starts to fade as priorities shift. Maybe your partner chooses time with friends over quality family moments. Perhaps hobbies or habits take over, eroding intimacy and trust.
This isn’t just a personal story; it’s a broader reality with serious consequences. Children left wondering where a missing parent is, while the other struggles alone as a single parent, trying to juggle too much. This absence of care and nurture affects children’s personal and spiritual growth, leaving lasting echoes into their adulthood.
Alcohol and drug abuse often sneak into many of these situations, silently corroding relationships and families from within. In my spiritual work, I’ve met many souls grappling with failing marriages and domestic chaos overshadowed by substance abuse and addiction.
If you’re stuck in such a relationship, ask yourself why you’re staying. Love shouldn’t coexist with self-destruction. If your partner’s commitment wavers, consider where your spiritual path meets theirs. Sometimes, the toughest choices lead to healing.
