A 2011 Ipsos Global Advisor survey of more than 18,000 people in 23 countries found that 51% of respondents believe in an afterlife that includes beliefs in heaven, hell, and reincarnation. From my experience, and from speaking with others in the field, I’d say most psychics are born with their gifts. Choosing to let go and taking the first steps can sometimes feel daunting. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed, but trust that each step you take to release the old and welcome the new brings you closer to peace, joy and lasting fulfillment.
As we release old patterns, we often feel lighter, more energized, and at peace. This newfound freedom allows us to explore new possibilities, pursue our passions, and live authentically. It’s not about forgetting – it’s about freeing ourselves from what holds us back and stepping into the full light of our true potential.
The Common Cold As A Spiritual Detox
It is quite common for people going through a period of spiritual growth or awakening to experience physical symptoms and illnesses such as colds, flu, or other infections.
Experiencing a nasty cold during your spiritual awakening is not only annoying, but also seems out of place and counterintuitive, especially when you’re supposed to be focusing on expanding your awareness, aligning your energy, and strengthening your connection to spirit and the divine.
However, it is important to know that the onset of physical symptoms, such as a cold or flu, usually has a profound spiritual significance. Although it may seem like an inconvenient interruption or a stroke of bad luck, this type of physical setback is often an essential part of our spiritual journey, as it is a sign that we are releasing old, toxic energies in order to heal and make room for new insights and energy.
I remember a pivotal moment in my own spiritual journey when I came down with a terrible cold. At the time, I was deeply immersed in exploring my Akashic Record and uncovering truths about certain past life traumas – particularly memories of being persecuted as a witch in a past life. This process brought up a flood of intense soul memories and ancient psychic wounds that had been waiting to be processed for several centuries!
One morning, after a particularly intense Akashic meditation the night before, I awoke with a scratchy throat, stuffy nose, body aches, and overwhelming fatigue. Over the years, as I have expanded my spiritual understanding and esoteric knowledge, I have come to rely on a number of spiritual entities and metaphysical beings for guidance and support on a daily basis. This assistance from the higher realms is vital not only in my professional work as a psychic reader and healer, but also in my personal life.

They provide me with insight and wisdom to make informed life choices and decisions. At times, I call upon one of the archangels, such as Michael or Raphael, for more specific needs, such as protection from physical harm or for physical healing, to draw upon their specialized energies.
The ascended masters and the divine I call upon for deeper spiritual enlightenment, higher consciousness, and to cultivate specific spiritual virtues such as compassion, humility, gratitude, forgiveness, patience, generosity, integrity, and courage.
Guiding Earthbound Souls To The Light
Early one morning I received a message from one of my clients saying that her close friend had been shot and killed before dawn that day. She wanted to know if I could try to communicate with her friend.
I suspected that it was far too early for spirit contact of any kind, but I promised to see what I could do.
Later in the day I tried to make the connection as promised. I immediately sensed that I was dealing with a soul who was stuck in this world, not quite sure where she was or what had happened after such a sudden death.
I informed my client that we needed to help her friend find her way to the other side, to the light. I asked her to assist me remotely in guiding her friend as it would help to have someone familiar present.
Her friend was still earthbound and our guidance and prayers would help her, even if she chose to stay close to her loved ones for the time being and make her presence known until they could find some peace with her sad and sudden passing.
I began our session with a calm, focused meditation, visualizing a warm, radiant light that would guide her friend. As we sent our thoughts and prayers, I felt a subtle shift in the energy around us. It was as if the room had brightened, filled with a calm, comforting presence.
My client shared some of her fondest memories of her friend, speaking with love and gratitude. This act seemed to create a powerful bridge of light, a connection that her friend’s spirit could use to find her way.
