Find Your Calm In Crystals

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comIt’s been a stressful couple of years for everyone, and stress-relief can be hard to accomplish. Stress, if untreated, can lead to a host of physical and emotional symptoms. But dealing with the stress of everyday life can be made easier with the right crystals in your spiritual practice.

When starting to work with these amazing crystals and stones, consider this: what causes stress in your life in the first place? Usually, it happens when we feel out of control and our energies aren’t properly centered and grounded. Earth-toned crystals such as smoke quartz (associated with the Earth element for stability) and tourmaline (release of negative energies) bring us to a baseline of positive energies to de-stress.

Soothing colored colors like blue (chrysocolla, aquamarine, lapis lazuli, larimar), violet (rhodonite, amethyst, tanzberry quartz, lepidolite), and white and grey (scolecite, howlite, agate) are traditionally associated with tranquillity and serenity. The cooler hues reflect the elements of water, or emotions, and air, our thoughts.

If you use some of these stress-relieving crystals in your meditations, imagine them help tame the runaway thoughts or feelings which cause so much turmoil. In the chakras, these are the Crown Chakra (thoughts) and Third Eye Chakra (emotions, psychic intuition), which are also represented by blues and purples.

Sometimes stress is less generalized and more related to one specific area in life. Which area is this for you? Knowing will help select the best crystal for your needs. If you’re overcome with panic attacks, amethyst (a well-known stress reliever) or blue sodalite (the Stone of Peace) are good choices.

Perhaps you’re having difficulty with communication at work or in a relationship, so blue lace agate (opening channels) or lapis lazuli (confidence) will work better for you. The possibilities for your crystals are endless: you might want to keep them with you in your pocket, in a necklace or bracelet, or create a special arrangement in your home or office.

Make Your Own Magical Moon Water

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comThe Moon, our closest celestial body, is strongly associated with the element of water. One way we can harness its powerful energy is by making moon water. Moon water is a powerful tool for energy cleansing and balance, and for strengthening spiritual connection.

The energy charging of moon water can be done at any time, but it is most ideal with the Full Moon. All you need is distilled or fresh water, a container, and a strong sense of intent.

Choosing the right container for your moon water is key. Think about what you plan to do with it: bathing, drinking, watering plants. If you are going to leave the container outside and overnight, consider a mesh or other permeable covering or lid so nothing except moonlight can get inside.

You can also include lunar affinity crystals, such as moonstone, clear quartz, or opal in the making of moon water. You can leave it in the container where it will receive an optimal amount of moonlight, then retrieve it in the morning.

Also, consider the astrological placement of the moon when making your moon water. For example, if you are setting an intention for extra insight and focus in your business or career, then a Full Moon in hardworking Capricorn is an ideal time to make some moon drinking water for the office.

As with any spiritual practice or manifesting ritual, stating your intentions clearly and firmly beforehand is vital. Remember to also extend gratitude to the Moon for her power and positive energies.

Sun Salutation For Opening Your Heart Chakra

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comMany people have an energy blockage or imbalance with their heart chakra, because this is where we hold our emotional wounds.

The heart chakra is where we hold on to every insult or criticism from our childhood. The unbalanced heart chakra can store the energy of every rejection, anxious moment, humiliation, and fear from our teen years, as well as every break-up and every disappointment in our lifetime.

Heartbreak is a very real phenomenon. For example, sometimes when the life partner of an elderly person passes away, they will also pass from a heart attack soon after. It is tragic evidence of a disconnection of the life-long energy bond between two hearts.

Blockage in the heart chakra can also cause various health problems, including heart palpitations, irregular heartbeat, breathing problems, and problems with the thyroid, back, neck and shoulders.

The sun salutation is a choreographed set of yoga exercises that can be used to open the heart chakra and move energy throughout the entire body. Lifting your heart chakra pulls energy into the center.

Stand with your feet roughly one foot part, feet parallel. Tighten your buttocks and push your pelvis forward. Contract your abdominal muscles.

Reach your arms out to the side and slowly move them upward, as if you re scooping energy upward. Keep the arms perfectly straight, with elbows locked.

Bring your hands over your head into a prayer position, with the arms as straight as you can get them. Visualize that energy you scooped up pulsing between your hands. Then, keeping the hands connected in prayer, bring your hands down to your heart and feel that energy you ‘captured’ filling your heart chakra.  Do this over and over as many times as you want.

Keeping The Seven Chakras In Balance

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comWhen your energy centers or chakras are in balance, you feel in alignment, happy, fulfilled and able to achieve most anything you set your mind to.  You are able to achieve your goals without stumbling and letting things get in your way.  When your chakra energy is out of balance, you can feel, lost, floundering, with no direction and even hopeless.

Each of the seven main chakras are associated with certain physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual states of being. It is essential that we keep these energy centers open, balanced and in flow. If one or more of our chakras are blocked or unbalanced, energy flow is restricted.

The chakras can be balanced and realigned through meditation, Yoga practice, breathwork, nutrition, natural remedies, and various energy healing methodologies, such as Reiki, acupuncture, Qigong, sound healing, prayer, reflexology and so on. If you suspect one or more of your chakras are poorly balanced or blocked, it is recommended to include some balancing energy work in your daily spiritual practice.

Crown (Purple) Chakra

Located at the top of the head it is the center of our higher state of consciousness and divine connection. A balanced crown chakra empowers us to trust that the God, Source, the Universe supports and direct us. When it is out of balance, we tend to disregard what is sacred, leading us to cynicism and becoming closed off to spirit and mindful living. Blockage of energy flow in this chakra causes disconnection from our higher self, spirit, our faith and leads to loss of hope, and loss of direction.

Third Eye (Indigo) Chakra

Located at the center of the eyebrows, it represents intuition, self-awareness, foresight, openness and imagination. When it is out of balance we lack imagination and mental clarity. This can also lead of breakdown of communications and distance in relationships.

Align Your Spirit With Prayer And Meditation

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI’ve heard it said that religion is for people who are afraid of ‘going to hell,’ and spirituality is for people who have already been there. However, I don’t believe either are exclusive; a person can be both religious and spiritual, and a person can choose to be only one, or neither.

Spirituality is in my view a state of mind, a way of life, the way you think about others and yourself, and the way you treat others. All that’s really necessary to be a ‘spiritual’ person is having the faith or belief that there is something greater than just yourself.

I watched a National Geographic documentary once that explained that everything in the world – all the plants, all the animals and insects, and humans – share the same basic DNA at its very core. I feel like any time we acknowledge that there is something bigger beyond ourselves, we are tapping into this entire DNA string, everything that once was currently is, and one day will be.

I therefore see my role on this earth as small, but significant; short, but far-reaching.

I am not a particularly religious person, but for me to be effective when I read for others, I have to be firmly connected to what I call ‘The Universe,’ or what others might call God, Goddess, Source, Great Spirit, the Divine. And prayer and meditation are how I express my gratitude and ask to be guided.

Both prayer and meditation are powerful metaphysical resources to tap into as part of your daily spiritual practice. I usually combine prayer and meditation, but these are my personal spiritual habits, so do what’s right for you. And if it doesn’t work at first, keep trying.

Meditation has been practiced since ancient times, it is how you find your center, clear yourself, listen for the answers. In meditation, we can work on ourselves, align our physical self with our psychological self, balance chakras, heal ourselves.  It can be used to alleviate stress, calm anxieties, control pain, help us sleep better.

Essential Oils For Energy Work

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comEssential oils can be a powerful resource when used in energy work and related spiritual and metaphysical practices.

Grounding. Using Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Frankincense oils, for example, can help keep us grounded while meditating or doing energy work. You can use just one, or you can mix them, then simply diffuse the oil according to your preference.

Romance. To attract love and romance combine 2 parts Rose or Rose Otto with 1 part Lavender, Honeysuckle, or Ylang Ylang.  Use in a diffuser or as a perfume oil on pulse points on your body. The Rose oil makes us feel more desirable, the Lavender, Honeysuckle or Ylang Ylang gives us confidence.

Memory. Using Rosemary, Peppermint, Lemon Grass, and Ginger in any combination will help with studying and memory retention. Dabbing a small amount on your third eye will enhance your ability to recall information later too.

Depression. For mild depression use 2 drops each Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang, Geranium and Sandalwood in any diffuser. Clary Sage helps promote the feel-good hormones, Ylang Ylang helps with anxiety, Geranium helps clear the debris in our heads and Sandalwood helps keep us grounded.

Energy. To recharge or refuel your energy, mix 12 drops Lavender, 6 drops Peppermint, 4 drops Pine, one drop Cinnamon essential oil. You can mix this in 1 cup of bath salts and enjoy a relaxing bath, or use in an oil diffuser, or both.

The Spiritual Aspect Of Physical Ailments

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comAs a medical Reiki master and teacher, I have come to understand that there is often a spiritual aspect to almost every illness, pain or symptom that comes up in the physical body. When we are not in alignment with our spiritual self, it can create imbalances in many aspects of our health and wellness.

Note that I always recommend seeking and following professional medical advice. Despite the possible underlying metaphysical and spiritual aspects of any illness or disease, you must never assume that the intervention of a registered medical practitioner is not needed. Always seek medical advice if you are not feeling well, and do not stop using whatever medication and treatments have been prescribed for you without consulting your doctor. It could save your life.

What I can however recommend is to supplement your conventional medical treatment with energy work and other spiritual healing practices. The Eastern practice of Reiki is something you can use effectively to compliment your western medicine treatment.

Reiki is an energy healing modality that brings our chi into alignment. Chi is the energy of life itself. It is an electromagnetic energy which flows through everything in creation. Reiki brings the chi of the body, mind, and spirit back into alignment and can reveal which areas need to be worked on, or released, or simply acknowledged.

Here are a few examples of common spiritual meanings behind some of our ailments. Headaches are often associated with self-criticism and fear. They are also a source of feeling invalidated in some way and often aimed at the self. The solution is to start affirming how amazing you are, how divinely perfect you are, how much you love yourself. The best affirmation you can say is:

I love myself unconditionally. I am perfectly perfect as I am.
