Psychometry – The Psychic Art Of Object Reading
We imprint a great deal of energy information onto items we own and handle. This personal energy information that we leave on items is known as our energy signature. The psychic ability to read these energy imprints is known as clairtangency, meaning ‘clear touch,’ while psychometry is the practice of reading and interpreting these energies.
The magnetic energy fields given off by our bodies can be likened to recording onto a CD or cassette tape, but in the case of psychometry we are recording our energetic blueprint onto an object. When these imprints are picked up by the subconscious mind of the psychic it transfers to the conscious mind for interpretation.
Naturally, if an object has been handed down from person to person over the years, it will likely hold a great deal of history and several energy signatures and imprints. The clairtangent psychic is able to read and decipher this information left behind by its various owners along the way. Information about the owner as well as, for example, a deceased relative who handed the item down to the owner can be retrieved.
The item can often also help a medium to connect with a loved one on the other side. For example, handling jewelry of the person we are reading for helps us to tune in better, particularly if the object is touched frequently by the owner.
Some psychics prefer metal objects, but clothing or other belongings can also work well. Touching walls and artifacts in an old building is another simple way to try and ‘feel’ the history of that place and people that went before us there.
I often work with a photograph to help me connect with the person or pet that is deceased, or missing. Sometimes intense emotions are picked up when handling the item and a psychic may find themselves feeling as if they are connected to another time and place in the world.
Astrology Forecast August 22 – 28, 2022
Brace yourself. This week is so packed with astrological shifts that we’ll have to pay close attention to the daily changes it will bring.
The Sun moves into Virgo today, setting us up for a month of inspired thoughts and the desire to create more order and organization in our lives. However, keep your emotions in check as the Cancer Moon
Moon square Jupiter in Aries may inspire risky behavor and bad investments.
We’ll have a quick breather tomorrow, as the Moon moves through Cancer, but on Wednesday, Uranus will turn retrograde and have us questioning everything and everyone. Sudden changes and reversals are a hallmark of this aspect, so be prepared to change direction at a moment’s notice.
On Thursday, Mercury will move into Libra and thankfully restore some balance to our thinking. What we thought was a great idea on Wednesday may prove otherwise on Thursday. So, the trick is to not take action on things too quickly, but to let the dust settle before you proceed. Thursday evening’s Leo Moon conjunction with Venus in Leo will be a lovely opportunity to spend some quality time with your mom or the motherly figure in your life. It will also be the ideal evening for a ladies night or hanging out with girlfriends.
Take advantage of Friday’s Leo Moon to stop and attend to personal needs, making sure you aren’t letting anything fall through the cracks, as you continue through the maze of this weeks’ astrological influences.

Heal Your Life With The Great Law

Hindu and Buddhist spirituality recognizes 12 Laws of Karma. The first and most important of these is The Great Law, also known as the Law of Cause and Effect. This fundamental karmic law has helped me a lot to uncomplicate my own life since my spiritual awakening.
The Great Law teaches that whatever we sow, we shall reap. Every cause has an effect. Whatever put out into the world will eventually come back to us. Even the good and bad things we wish upon others will return to bless, or curse us.
Once we understand the role of The Great Law in our life, we become more aware of how we can eliminate negative patterns in our life and begin to attract more positive, new things. The energy we emanate each day in the form of thoughts, wishes, fears, desires, attitudes, and beliefs will determine what will return to us as manifested experiences, events and circumstances.
Intention is everything in karmic law. For example, you start dating someone, but you live in fear of that person leaving you, or betraying you, so you are emanating an energy frequency of fear. In the end, it is very likely that you will lose that person. Fear attracts fear, love attracts love, and gratitude attracts gratitude. It’s that simple.
Mediums To The Rescue
When some people pass away, they are taken by surprise and in shock. These souls aren’t sure what is going on, where they are now, and how they got there, while wondering where everyone else has gone. These individuals find themselves stuck in a physical, human mindset and unable to progress in the spirit realm.
How can such a confused soul energy become unstuck and cross over into the light? Well, that’s where spirit rescue work comes in! Some of the most rewarding spiritual experiences in my own mediumship career have been during rescue sessions that I used to attend. Once every month, a group of mediums would gather in a séance circle and with the aid of a facilitator we would engage in the rescue process. In the trance state, one of us would then begin to channel the energy of someone who needed assistance to cross over and reach the Other Side.
There are several rescue sessions that particularly stand out in my memory, even after all these years. The first was the spirit of a young woman about 35 years of age. She had been sitting on her kitchen counter in Indiana for months, wondering where the rest of her family had gone? We soon discovered that they had all been killed in a car accident and only she had returned home to search for everyone. The facilitator encouraged her to look to the light, reach for their outstretched hands and join her husband and two children.
Another time, I channeled the energy of a little boy about six years old. He was hiding under one end of his bed, which was on an angle forming a tent over him. He had perished in a house fire in Nebraska and couldn’t find his parents. We encouraged him to look towards the light and reach for his waiting mother’s hand.
Another unusual case was a patriotic young WWII soldier who had been killed in combat, but refused to abandon his post. Our facilitator had to give him a direct order to look to the light and immediately report to his commanding officer!
Let’s Go Girls, Vesta Is Calling Us!
Vesta, or Hestia as she is known in Greek mythology, is an asteroid located between Mars and Jupiter that is currently retrograde until October 5th, 2022. This means it is currently in close proximity to Earth and actually visible to the naked eye until Sept 11th, 2022. Women in particular should be watching her path, and engage with her empowering, divine feminine energy at this time.
Some experts believe that according to a formula that predicts the spacing between planets in any given solar system, known as the Titius-Bode law, Vesta may be located in an area that once contained a planet that no longer exists.
German astronomer H.W. Olbers first spotted the asteroid on March 29th, 1807, and his colleague Carl Friedrich Gauss named it Vesta. It takes 3.63 years for Vesta to travel around the sun, nearly twice as long as the orbit of planet Mars.
Vesta is the virgin goddess of the hearth, home, and family in Roman mythology. She is ‘the fire that warms, but never burns.’ In ancient Roman times, six vestal virgins had the sacred duty as priestesses at her temple to tend the vestal flame.
This was considered a very important job, as this sacred fire was deemed to be vital to the security and stability of Rome and therefore could never be allowed to go out. It took extreme focus and care to keep the flame alive.
The vestal priestesses did not have to comply with of the usual social and cultural obligations imposed on women in those patriarchal times. They were not required to marry and have children, but instead took a 30-year vow of chastity in order to fully devote themselves to service.
Astrology Forecast August 15 – 21, 2022
We’ll experience a fairly balanced time energetically as the Sun spends its last week of this year in Leo, with only one significant astrological shift created by Mars when it moves into Gemini on Saturday.
Our creative sides flourish under the Aries Moon today and tomorrow, as it awakens our spirits to the possibilities. Even something as simple as taking a different route home can uplift our perceptions and bring greater awareness, so practice making small changes that will soon result in some big ones!
The Aries Moon conjunction with Jupiter in Aries creates ideal Monday morning vibes for financial gains, acquisition of wealth, ambition, and increased social influence. Get your most important business calls done early this morning to make the most of this prosperous energy.
Tomorrow will be a pleasant, positive day on the social front. In the morning, the Leo Sun trine the Aries Moon will ensure happy, harmonious interactions with your partner and family. If you are single, this will also be a great time to ask that special someone out on a date. The Moon cruises through Taurus on Wednesday and Thursday, allowing us some time mid-week to catch up on obligations of a grounded nature, such as house cleaning or bill paying. Keeping our environment in order makes all our other senses thrive more effectively.
Prophets, Or Time Travelers?
Could some of the famous prophets, such as Nostradamus, or the prophets of the King James Version of the Bible, or the prophet Mohammad, actually have been time travelers?
And is it merely coincidence that the Oracle of Delphi used a brass seat for visions of the future? As did Nostradamus, the 16th Century French poet and visionary. Nostradamus writes, “I will be seated at night, in my secret study. Alone sitting upon a stool of brass, a flame shall leap forth from the solitude, granting that which is not to be believed in vain.”
And, in the 1895 HG Wells fiction novel, The Time Machine, the protagonist of the story uses a black and polished brass time machine to gain mechanical control over time. Is there something about sitting on brass that allows one to see into the future? Or, could they possibly be talking about a brass seat on a sort of vehicle?
There is a mystic figure called Khidr in Islamic exegesis. Khidr is said to have met Islamic figures and prophets at different times and places. It is difficult for scholars to understand how that could be – unless Khidr was a time traveler or an immortal being. Khidr was said to have met with Moses, Abu Zur’a al-Razi and Elijah. It is also believed that Elijah and Khidr may be the same person.
The scriptures say that Elijah did not die that he ascended into heaven (time travel) and would return as one of the two witnesses of the Great Tribulation period that would precede the Second Coming of Christ.
Enoch, from the Biblical scriptures is said to have taken many trips to heaven to meet the pre-existent Son of Man, whom Enoch prophesied would judge the souls of all men. Is this too, another instance of time travel? Interestingly, the book of Enoch was omitted from the King James Version of the Bible.
In several instances of supposed time travel a “storm” or a “ball of fire” or even a “chariot of fire” is mentioned. As in the book of Ezekiel, when he has a vision of the future, he mentions a whirl wind coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire, engulfing itself – this being the first of the prophet’s visions.
