Finding Your Perfectly Imperfect Partner

click photo for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comAll too often single people are guilty of trying to find the perfect person, our better halves, our soulmate match. Unless you have never dated before or are extremely unique, we have all gone through a few relationships that have not worked out. These failed relationships leave wounds in our hearts and scars that come from being hurt. They leave us with lessons carved deep into our souls.

I do not see these relationship experiences as ‘failures.’ I believe they are trials. My mother always used to say, dating guys is like trying on shoes. Not to trivialize dating, but you get the idea? Shoes have to fit well for them to be reliable and comfortable. You don’t buy shoes that don’t fit you, unless you plan on being constantly uncomfortable.

Perfectly Imperfect

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comThere are no people on this Earth who are 100% perfect. Each one of us has flaws. Everyone has emotional wounds and physical imperfections. These flaws, wounds, scars and imperfections are what make us uniquely different from each other. It is what makes each one of us beautiful.

Virtually everyone also has some issue with self-esteem. Many of us dislike some parts of our physical body. We all get pimples, stretch marks, or have food stuck in our teeth from time to time. The list of perceived imperfections is infinite. So, who are we to judge others? Everyone has something about them they dislike, or want to improve or change. Even the most beautiful people in the world get sunburns, cuts, rashes, bad haircuts, stomach aches, digestive problems, and on and on. We need to remember, the relationship isn’t with the body, but with the soul. Bodies age. Bodies never last forever. Souls are where our true value is found.

The Truth About Your Ego

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comWe so often think of the ego as a bad thing. And we spend a lot of time deciding what level of ego is okay. The truth is, it’s all okay. It’s only our sense of self that makes us think someone’s ego is too big, or too small.

Let me elaborate. The ego is simply another tool we have to translate energy. The ego is simply our sense of self, our sense of identity, our sense of self-esteem or self-importance. That last one, self-importance, usually hits a cord with most people. But you are important, why shouldn’t you think so?

We often confuse ego-mania with the ego. We use these two words interchangeably, and therefore the ego has gotten a bad rap. Like anything balance is needed.

When we think of ego, we often think of someone who uses others to fuel their own sense of self. This isn’t ego, this is an imbalanced person who is grasping for a way to make themselves feel better, because they don’t see how truly amazing they are.

The Fallacy Of Being Perfect

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comPeople who go around trying to be perfect, or aim to “live up to their maximum potential” seldom seem to be happy. Neither do they appear to be living fulfilling lives. Their constant striving to achieve or maintain perfectionism seems to take the joy out of their lives.

Spirit inspired this chain of thought in me as I remembered three psychic readings that I did recently. The theme of perfectionism and potential had a profound effect on all three of my clients’ lives and or their loved ones. With their permission I am briefly sharing their stories here.

The first client called me upset, because she felt she had ruined their holiday stressing about wanting to make everything  perfect. Not only did she take the fun out of it for herself, but for everyone else involved.

I connected with Spirit and received this message for her: “Doing special things like making Easter eggs and cooking Thanksgiving dinner should be enjoyable. Some people will like it, and some people won’t. Next week no one will remember. Learn to enjoy these activities more, and just go with ebb and flow. Spirit then  also offer tools she can use to help her relax. Continue reading

I’m A Perfect Five On A Scale Of One To Ten

Click photo for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI’m a perfect ‘five’ on a scale of one to ten… and I love it! When we learn to be a five, we’re relishing the right to be okay, yet not to have to be a perfect ten. We would all like to be absolutely perfect. Yet, no one is. We would like our heroes, our crushes, our partners to be ‘the one’ by fulfilling all our needs, but we forget that in order for that to be, we too have to be a perfect ‘ten.’ Still, and perhaps, sadly, no one is.

The worst part is, when our beloved tries to change, we often doubt them. We wonder why he said this, or why he didn’t do that, because he always did before! We shouldn’t ask for changes if we don’t really want them. Changes hurt, just as pulling the splinter out sometimes hurts. It causes us to bleed, but in order to heal, the splinter has to come out. Mysticism And Human Imperfection

Get a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comPerfection. When we are a ball of light on the Other Side, there is only one kind of perfection. But here on Earth, fluidity of movement, acceptance, surrender, flowing into change… this is perfection. Earth perfection is the ability to fully embrace, love, laugh at, and survive the roller-coaster ride we chose before we came here.

Many healers and therapists sell themselves, in part, by projecting a public image… and sadly, many of their followers are mostly attracted to only that image. Why is that? Perhaps the idea of having an ‘ideal’ allows people to kind of let themselves off the hook, by declaring, “Well, I can never be perfect like her!” Or maybe we just like the idea that somehow our idea of perfection really does exist.
