Time Waits For No One

Untitled design (1)I was meditating deeply one afternoon wanting to connect with my spirit guide. I wanted to see if I there was anything that I needed to know, or anything that could help me be a better person. I then heard the words: “Time waits for no one.”

I had been putting various things off for a while in my life, but I sensed this message was not for me. Sometimes when I hear things I later find out that they were for someone else: a client, family member, or friend.

Later that day, I took a call on PsychicAccess.com from one of my regulars who I often read for.

She asked me if there was anything that she needed to know and I instantly knew the message about time and procrastination was for her, so I told her about what came through to me while I was meditating. She started crying.

She then told me she had just been visiting her mother at the hospice. During her visit she became aware of her thoughts and feelings about time and how fast a person’s life can fly by.

She was looking at it from a different perspective. Sitting in a hospice room with your dear mother in the last days of her life can definitely make you see how fast time flies!

She told me how she has always made these major plans for her future, thinking how great it would be to do this, or that, and accomplish this, and that. Her Mother told her that day she should go ahead and write the book she had been planning to publish about mother-daughter relationships, and how important they are.

Reflections On Time…And The Timeless

FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.com, Click Here NOW!!!During my morning walk with the dogs, I found myself nostalgically reflecting on a time in my life when “there was a place for everything, and everything in its place.”

As comforting as that kind of order once felt, I’ve shifted considerably in how I relate to time constraints in recent years.

Over the years, I’ve gathered a menagerie of many rescue dogs and cats who’ve taught me to prioritize what truly needs my attention and focus, and to stop “sweating the small stuff.”

A neighbor also recently reminded me, “Hay tiempo para todo.” There is time for everything.

The general approach to life in the Spanish town where I live is (sometimes annoyingly so!) very easygoing, with a shared belief that what doesn’t get done today will simply get done tomorrow.

You often hear the locals say, “Mañana,” with a smile, which seldom means “tomorrow.” It means, “Tomorrow is another day, so don’t stress, don’t rush, it’ll all get sorted in time.”

I’ve reflected on this often, and the quality of life enjoyed by most Spaniards is a testament to the fact that perhaps they’re doing something right? It is especially evident in family life still being a priority for people living here.

In our little town of around 8,000 souls, people still pause to smile and greet one another. I’m lucky to be able to converse with the locals in their own language, but I’ve also seen how warmly they respond to foreigners, especially those who are still finding their way with Spanish. There’s no judgment, just appreciation for the effort.

Self-Charity Is Your Spiritual Responsibility

FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.com, Click Here NOW!!!Charity truly begins at home. To be truly charitable to others, we must first be kind and generous to ourselves.

Whether we view “charity” as giving alms to the poor, showing kindness to strangers, or extending non-judgment in times of questionable behavior, it is imperative that we first take care of our own needs. Why? Because we cannot freely and easily give to others what we have not given to ourselves.

Our true nature as incarnated spirit beings is to be loving, kind, and giving. However, it is our spiritual duty to take care of ourselves first so that we can offer more to others and make a real difference in the world.

Self-charity, or prioritizing our own needs before helping others, involves several key components.

Self-awareness is critical, requiring regular self-reflection and mindfulness to stay in tune with our mental, emotional, and physical states. Prioritizing self-care through activities such as regular exercise, healthy eating, adequate sleep, and relaxation techniques such as meditation or yoga is essential.

Mindful time management helps balance work, rest, and play, ensuring we don’t overcommit and have enough downtime to recharge.

Emotional management is essential and includes healthy ways to process and express emotions, such as journaling, talking to a trusted friend or therapist, or engaging in creative activities. Setting boundaries, learning to say no, and protecting our time, energy, and resources help us manage our lives effectively. Seeking support when needed, whether from friends, family, or professionals, ensures that we don’t carry burdens alone.
