Heal Your Home With A House Blessing
When you purchase a new home a ‘house blessing’ is recommended, especially if it is an older house with more history. An old family home, like ours that dates back five generations, usually hosts high levels of imprinted energy.
I have always sensed that many family events and life experiences have occurred in our house. We have been able to trace the property’s origins back to 1750, so the place as no doubt witnessed its fair share of birth and death, joy and sadness, hope and despair. In fact, I even know in which room my dad was born.
But no home is ever a flawless sanctuary or the perfect ‘happy place.’ Whatever house you may move into, there is bound to be some level of negative energy that still lingers from its previous occupants. A house blessing can help ‘clear the air,’ so to speak.
If you enter a house and instantly feel a little uncomfortable, especially in a specific area or room, chances are something unpleasant happened there. This may range from something as benign as unresolved arguments that repeatedly occurred there, to verbal abuse, physical violence, substance abuse, extreme illness, intense grief, suicide, and even rape or murder.
Apart from the energy imprints left behind by former occupants, some older homes may also be haunted by the attached spirit energies of deceased former residents, as well as in exceptional cases by other spirit entities. These paranormal energies can be present as either residual or intelligent hauntings, or both.
Astrology Forecast March 13 – 19, 2023
This week’s cosmic energies are likely to intensify our workload and stress levels, and we will probably be running on all cylinders until the weekend. So, staying focused and keeping our noses to the grindstone will be the most sensible way forward.
The Sagittarius Moon will at least help to keep us balanced as we sort through the piles of obligations awaiting us today and tomorrow, and a Capricorn Moon will supplement the productive energy we need to get through Wednesday and Thursday.
The Sagittarius Half Moon could cause major family disagreement and drama tomorrow night. This will be even more so due to its square with Neptune in Pisces, which can cause us to be hypersensitive and out of touch with reality, as well as its opposition with Mars in Gemini, which tends to make us hasty, hostile, and even aggressive. Things could indeed get really nasty. So, make a conscious effort to think twice before you overreact, and avoid conflict at all cost. It fact, it may be wise to go to bed early tomorrow night!
Venus will return to domal dignity when it enters Taurus on Wednesday, helping us reorder our priorities before moving forward.
There’ll be a lot of brainstorming and information to sort through under Friday’s Aquarius Moon, so share your ideas and do some thourough research.
Mercury will move into Aries on Saturday, sparking creative and innovative ideas for us to consider, but since it’s the weekend do not neglect your work-life balance. Instead fo working, the main activity should be socializing, catching up with friends, and updating your social media feeds and digital devices to make them more current.
Then, take a breather on Sunday as the Moon drifts through Pisces and allows us to step back from all the demands that have cluttered our week.
When A Prediction Timeline Slows, Or Stalls
Spiritually aware people are always on the outlook for omens, signs, and synchronicities. We know from experience that these everyday sightings and experiences are reassuring nudges from spirit. It serves as indicators that we’re on the right path, as well as forewarnings when we are not.
Spiritually wise people take it one step further by supplementing their intuition and inner guidance with predictions and forecasts obtained through various forms of divination, psychic reading, mediumship, and channeling.
But psychic predictions do not always unfold exactly as we expect. The outcome of any prediction is always subject to modification. This is especially true in the forecasting of time. In any reading, time is usually the most tentative and fluid. This may happen for various reasons, but there are two important influences that most often determine timing.
The first important reason things do not always happen when we want them to, is known as divine timing. In this case, the outcome or manifestation occurs at a moment in time that will best serve our highest good. Things always happen for a reason, because God, Source, Spirit, the Divine ensures that it unfolds in our best interest. It is therefore vital that we practice patience and forbearance when it comes to the timing of outcomes. We might think we know what is best for us, but the Universe always knows better.
The Empowering Symbolism Of The World Card
The World card in the Tarot remains one of my firm favorites. I am all for personal and spiritual growth, the completion of cycles, and new beginnings. The World represents exactly that: the ending of a cycle and pause in life, before the next major cycle begins with the fool.
The journey from the new beginnings of The Fool to the fulfilling endings of The World is a constant evolutionary process in our everyday lives that is represented by the sequence of the 22 Major Arcana cards of the Tarot. The World is the 22nd trump and therefore final card of the Major Arcana.
I have reflected on the imagery of the Rider-Waite version of this Tarot card in great detail. Rider-Waite is probably the most popular and universally recognized Tarot deck. The illustrations by Pamela Colman Smith at first glance appear simple, but the details and backgrounds feature abundant mystical symbolism.
The World pictures an empowered figure within a wreath – traditionally a symbol of victory, success, achievement, and eternal life. The figure holds a wand in each hand, which is reminiscent of the Magician card and the Two of Wands. However, while The Magician holds only one wand, the two wands in the The World card represents fulfillment, wholeness, balance and coming full circle.
The card is framed by four animals on the diagonal. The depiction of these four creatures parallels the four animal symbols used in Christian art to represent the four Evangelists, namely Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The four animals also represent the zodiac signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, the four fixed signs in Western Astrology, which in turn represent the classical four elements of Earth, Fire, Water and Air.
Astrology Forecast March 6 – 12, 2023
We’ll have two important astrological events occurring tomorrow. The Moon waxes full in Virgo and Saturn moves into Pisces.
Full moons call for release, and being in the sign of Virgo, tomorrow’s Full Moon is preparing us to leave the winter season behind (summer in the southern hemisphere) and begin to set our sights on the new season ahead. Also, a Virgo Full Moon tends to make us moody, confused, irritable and even argumentative, so focus on keeping calm.
Saturn changes signs approximately every two years, so the last time it transitioned was in 2020, around the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, when it entered Aquarius for the past two years. During this period we witnessed sudden changes, unsual restrictions, and profound inventiveness, all hallmarks of this sign. As Saturn now ventures into Pisces for another two-year stay, we are likely to see the spiritual purpose and reasons for the global pandemic and increasingly align ourselves with the changes it brought about. This will also herald the start of a new cycle of growth and understanding.
Our most productive days of the week will be today and tomorrow under the Virgo Moon, while we’ll focus on balance Wednesday through Friday as the Moon travels through Libra.
Friday evening is not recommended as a date night, as the Libra Moon square with Pluto in Capricorn may cause us to be emotionally volatile and even aggressive. It may be best to spend a quiet evening at home. Also, avoid discussing finances with your significant other, as an argument is very likely to ensue. Foretunately, we can expect a quiet and mellow weekend under a free-flowing Scorpio Moon.
