As we move into the final months of 2025, the energy around us feels less like things are quietly wrapping up and more like they are building toward a big, undeniable turning point.
This is not just the year slowly running out of days. It is a season where the universe seems to be leaning in close, asking us to pay attention. There is a sense that something important is in motion, even if we cannot see all the pieces yet.
These last months carry a certain electricity in the air, a quiet pressure that says, “Something is shifting. Are you ready?” But it’s not about pushing harder or doing more. It is about listening more deeply, trusting more fully, and allowing the old ways to loosen their grip so we can step into what is next.
We are in a threshold season: that sacred in-between space where the old patterns no longer fit, but the new has not fully taken form. It can feel strange, even uncomfortable, like standing in a doorway, grasping one handle while peeking into another room, not quite ready to let go, yet knowing you cannot stay where you are.
You might notice a pull to slow down, choose your time and energy more wisely, or step back from noise and distraction. This is not you being unproductive; it is your inner compass reorienting. Your soul knows when it is time to listen within. Sometimes it whispers through restlessness, sometimes through a craving for solitude, sometimes through sudden clarity about what no longer feels right.
The Lesser-Known Art Of Trance Healing
Many psychics and mediums are naturally drawn to healing and energy work. Many of us feel an innate pull toward alternative therapies, especially those that call upon the loving assistance of the spirit realm to heal the body, mind, and soul.
Whether we’re seeking healing for ourselves or exploring how other healers invite spirit intervention, the journey can be enlightening and transformative.
This interest in spirit-assisted healing became particularly strong for me recently when I visited a trance healer in Spain. He is a gifted medium and a highly respected healer, known both locally and in the United Kingdom.
There is something both grounding and ethereal about him, as though he walks the line between worlds with grace and strength. He has worked with spirit for most of his adult life. Even as a child, he had profound experiences with the unseen world.
As someone who works regularly with spirit in my own practice, I know how vital it is to tend to our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. He seems to understand this intuitively, and his healing touch addresses all of those aspects for me.
He practices trance healing. It’s different from the more traditional laying-on-of-hands and Reiki approaches. During our sessions, I feel intense waves of peace, warmth, and an almost electric tingling sensation, even though he never physically touches me. The energy flows through me with unmistakable potency, and it’s clear that something or someone from the spirit realm is orchestrating the experience.
My Surprising Journey Into Spirit Mediumship
I had my first encounter with the spirit realm in the summer of 1987, during an evening of mediumship at a spiritualist church. That night changed everything. From then on, I regularly attended Sunday services.
My keen interest was not out of a newfound religious fervor, but simply to experience more of the spirit messages, which were always part of the service.
I was utterly mesmerized by the idea of communicating with the spirit world, and I found joy in listening to messages delivered to others as much as I did to those meant for me.
One evening, I received an unexpected call from a new friend I’d met at the church. She facilitated the weekly meditation and healing sessions. She informed me that my name had appeared on the registration sheet for an upcoming mediumship class.
I was baffled. I hadn’t signed up for anything? She then laughed and admitted that she had signed me up herself! She explained that, after getting to know me through her programs, she had a gut feeling that I might enjoy the experience.
Truthfully, I had also been attending the meditation and healing sessions primarily to receive more messages from spirit. Each session concluded with a medium delivering some messages until closing time, and I relished those moments.
It never even occurred to me that ordinary people like me could learn to become a medium. I had no prior background or training. Until my first visit to that Spiritualist church, I didn’t even know such places existed!
Why Astral Projection Is A Popular Psychic Practice
Years ago, my best friend told me that she was having what she described as “floating experiences.” She said that, as she was winding down for the night in bed, she would suddenly feel as though her spirit were drifting above her body. She was really unsettled by this at the time, because she was not trying to make it happen, nor did she feel in control of it.
At the time, I was deeply involved in psychic development. I spent my evenings buried in books, engaged in discussions, and exploring various spiritual practices.
The moment she described her experiences, I knew exactly what she was talking about. I realized she was describing astral travel. It was nothing new to me, as I had been practicing it myself for quite some time.
Astral travel is the experience of your mental awareness, or your “conscious self,” separating from your physical body and exploring other realms of existence. It’s the experience of your inner being, your soul or spirit, moving beyond the limits of time and space and the restrictions of the material world.
Once you “leave” your physical body, earthly rules no longer apply. Gravity and distance as we know it no longer apply. Some travelers report visiting faraway places on Earth, while others explore entirely different realms or even other planets. For many, this experience proves that we are more than flesh and bone. We are souls with vast potential.
From Skeptic To Mystic — My First Encounter With Spirit
In the summer of 1987, nearly a year after losing both my parents (just 23 days apart), I found myself at a mediumship event held in a Spiritualist church in Toronto.
Looking back, I can see how profoundly synchronistic the experience was. It was clearly guided by spirit.
I had never set foot in a Spiritualist church before. That very afternoon, I had lunch with a friend who casually mentioned the evening service. She couldn’t attend — she was heading out of town — but something within me stirred. Despite my skepticism, I felt an unshakable desire to go on my own.
The modest church was tucked away on the second floor of a shopping plaza above a retail store. As I climbed the steep staircase, I felt a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
The room was already crowded by the time I arrived, so I chose a seat close to the door, just in case anything bizarre or uncomfortable happened. Since I had never had a mediumship experience before, I didn’t know what to expect. I wanted an easy exit should things get too weird!
After the guest mediums were introduced, the first one stepped forward and gestured toward a man seated near the back. “May I come to you?” she asked gently. When he nodded, she remained at the front of the room and began channeling messages for him from the spirit realm.
Honoring Your Divine Purpose In Uncertain Times
Knowing your purpose and consciously living it in this day and age is one of the greatest blessings one can experience in this lifetime.
Yet, in a troubled world of mass distraction, upheaval, fear, and uncertainty, many spiritual seekers struggle with doubt, confusion, or even despair.
Many people feel lost and uncertain these days. It’s part of being human in the digital age and living in very uncertain times – the pain of questioning, the longing to understand why we are here, and what we are meant to do.
But this is not a sign of weakness or failure. In fact, it is an essential part of our spiritual growth and conscious evolution.
For me, my personal definition of “purpose” has evolved over the years, but at its core it remains constant: exploring the spiritual or higher realms, the invisible threads that weave through our existence, the vast mysteries of spirit and the cosmos.
I believe my soul purpose is to venture into the unseen realms to continue my own immortal, infinite path. I am meant to do this not only for myself, but also for the collective.
My mission is to bring back what I learn from these journeys and share it with others, to offer illumination in the dark corners, to reduce chaos, and to help restore balance to the universe. One thing we all have in common is our dreams. Even if we don’t remember them, we all dream every night.
