It’s Okay To Take Care Of Your Self
Only you know when it’s time to come out of the closet. Only you know when it’s time to live the life you have always wanted, or were called to live. Is your life like a hamster on a wheel, same old, same old? If you do the same old thing the same old way, you will always get the same old result. Step off the wheel and try something new in your life.
Get rid of the shoulds and should nots. You will always hear that little voice inside your head saying, “I can’t do that, I’m not smart enough… I’m not good enough… I don’t deserve that..” On and on, downing and judging yourself. Only you know when it’s time to clean house, get rid of the useless mental chatter and feel good about yourself.
Self-care is never a selfish act—it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer to others ~ Parker Palmer
You have to trust that spirit will always help you find your true and authentic self. It’s always okay to take care of yourself and choose to live your best life. One of the best sayings I have heard, that really helps people move forward, was something I once heard on The Oprah Winfrey Show, “We must give up the idea that we can rewrite the past.” What a freeing thought, leaving the past in the past!
It’s about living in the present and enjoying the moment. Life is for the living and the spirit world wants what is best for all the living. Not to live in fear of what may, or may not happen.
Thinking positive is the course of action one can take for living a positive life. Like attracts like and trying to be positive brings positive results. Sometimes just switching the words we say can change the outcome of a discussion. The same word can be interpreted thee different ways.
When some people have the mask on, they are saying one thing, all the while really meaning just the opposite. That is when tuning into body language, can help a lot to get to the truth. In this busy world most people don’t take the time to really listen, much less tune into energy or body language. That is one reason there is conflict and miscommunication. A person is saying one thing and the other person is hearing it the way they wish too. So, it’s very important to really listen and tune into body language and personal energy to decipher what is really being said. If people would really do that in this busy world, they would have an easier time with communication and living cohesively.
Plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers. ~ Veronica A. Shoffstall
In all my communication with the spirit world, the message has been consistently clear: there is no judgment on the Other Side. Spirit always tries to help and guide us, for our highest and best life. It’s up to us to make up our own mind and make our own decisions for the future. Spirit gives us the possibilities. We always have a choice to go right or left, or right down the middle. There are always many different directions that one can choose to go.
If we would listen to our higher self, the soul, we would always make choices for our best life. The soul always knows the best direction for us to choose. The hard part is quieting the mind enough to listen to what is being said.
Always remember, it’s okay to take care of yourself. When you cross over, Spirit may ask, how did you take care of your body, mind and spirit that you were given? Think about it! Remember to speak kindly to yourself, because your subconscious mind is always listening, and remembers all that you tell it, and all that it hears. When you look in the mirror, drop the mask and say, “I love you… I trust you…but most of all, I believe in you!”
