Your True Legacy According To Spirit

Click Here for a FREE psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comWhat is your legacy in this lifetime? Many people believe that it is the money or property that will be passed on to their children, or the status and membership they have in this lifetime, that can be passed on to future generations.

There is nothing inherently wrong in wanting your loved ones to be secured with an inheritance of material wealth. However, from a spiritual perspective, one’s true legacy is about your current contribution, purpose and mission on a daily basis, and less to do with what you still plan to achieve or acquire, and then pass on once you are gone. In other words, your material legacy is about the future, while your spiritual legacy refers to being present in this moment.

Your spiritual legacy is the mark of your essence that transforms you, as well as others, during your time on Earth. It’s a bit like the exercise of writing your own obituary, and imagining what others would say about you. But, such an exercise may only elicit dread or guilt, and that certainly is not the purpose here.

The truth is that your children, spouse or partner, friends and co-workers will mostly remember the time you spent with them, the laughter you shared, the smile on your face, and your hand on their shoulder when you were there to provide support or comfort.

Your true legacy is therefore not about your death. Your legacy is alive today! It is all about how you interact with others every day. It’s about your presence in every small exchange, and how you treat people in every facet of your life. In fact, you may never know just how much you have transformed the life of a stranger, just by bringing your inspiring, uplifting energy into their world! This is your true legacy if you choose to embrace it.

Are You Living An Unexamined Life?

Click Here for a FREE psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comAccording to Socrates, “The unexamined life is not worth living.” This statement is very powerful, yet it has a very simple meaning. What you do not change, does not change you. When your actions remain the same, so do the results. If you cannot examine the things that are eating at you, the things that have gone wrong in your life, and even the things that have gone right, nothing changes.

We must look at our life and go behind the mask that we may be wearing, to cover up the fact that we are vulnerable inside.  There are often so many aspects to our life that requires change in order to move forward to a better place.

For example, are you repeatedly settling for the same type of person as a partner and find it constantly failing? Are you going to a dead-end job day in and day out, that you hate so much that merely entering the workspace already makes you despise the day before it even  starts? Do you look in the mirror and see things about yourself that makes you miserable?

Take off the mask of pretension and make an effort to change what isn’t working. Examine why you keep repeating the same patterns.

If you are ending up with the same type of person every time, ask yourself why? Are you trying to meet someone in the same way? Are you settling for someone that is not all that you would like, but feel it’s better than to have no one at all? Are you compromising on what you want? If they are not what you seek, cut them loose. They are not going to suddenly change.

Spiritual Awakening ‘Turns On The Light’

Click Here for a free psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comWhat exactly is a spiritual awakening, and is there a way you can tell if you are having one? Here are some ways to be aware of what is happening to you.

The first sign is usually when you are no longer living in a ‘dream world,’ where you used to see everything through your human ego and you were overly focused on the future and your past. This is a clear sign that you are becoming more spiritually aware. You have a greater awareness of your individual self and the connection between that and everything else. Things start to come into better focus in your life and make more sense.

When you closely examine various religions and faith traditions, there is usually a common thread that describes this state of heightened awareness as nirvana, enlightenment, or awakening. This new consciousness happens when you stop being the observer, and instead ask yourself, who is observing?

Many people go through life on ‘autopilot,’ because that is what they were taught, or they simply fell into a routine without giving much thought to who they really are, or what they truly need or desire to make their life meaningful. Asking such questions about yourself is important for your personal growth and self-realization. It is ‘turning the light on’ so to speak. The first step in growth is always the awareness of the present moment followed by an impulse to change something. Continue reading

Choose Kindness – A Message From My Guides

Click Here for a FREE psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comIn these times of uncertainty, worry and fear, we urge you to step back and let kindness prevail. It is more important than ever to take a breath before reacting to what might normally seem to be an insensitive comment, or blatant oversight.

Even people who are usually even-tempered and relaxed can currently be on edge after months of sheltering in place, and it is impossible to understand what every individual may be going through right now, or how difficult their circumstances might be day-to-day. This does not condone their negative behavior, but it does give you an opportunity to rise above the fray, before responding in kind.

Keep in mind that, although everyone is currently in the same boat, each situation is entirely different. One person might have very limited finances, and truly worry about putting food on the table. Another might be a single parent, with children to home school, in spite of having to leave their home every day to also work as a first responder or an essential service worker. No two sets of circumstances are alike, and to each individual their personal challenges will be of paramount importance.

Listen before reacting. Pause. Try to empathize with the other person’s point-of-view, instead of the way it is being presented. Try to see past a short-tempered response, or erratic explanation. A smile and a patient ear will often diffuse a tense situation.

The good news is that the circumstances in your world are gradually improving, and there are many positive occurrences on the horizon. The Sun continues to rise every day, while thousands of scientists and medical experts are working around the world to bring about vaccines and treatments to fight this latest suffering. Millions more have ramped up their service in offering medical, emotional and financial support to those in need. Each day, there is another glimmer of hope in many different parts of the world.

Now Is The Time To Invest In Yourself

Click Here for a FREE psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comThroughout our childhood, we receive advice from family and teachers on how we should succeed in life. Study hard. Get good grades. Go to college for a quality career. Get married and have a family. Buy the dream home. Financial success and prosperity. Provide for your family. Send your kids to college. Become proud grandparents.

In reality, our real life experiences can throw us major curve balls, and impact what we envision as our dream future. In the same vein, life experiences create magnificent opportunities. Well-meaning guidance and suggestions from family and friends is beneficial. It is to be part of our consideration. It can give us goals, and affirm what we know about ourselves.

Careers can include being of service. A social worker, doctor, nurse, lawyer, first-responder, accountant, veterinarian, military, waitperson. A career in science. A researcher, chemist, biologist, architect, engineering. A career in entertainment. An artist, musician, dancer, playwright, author, actor, composer.

The career you choose is, however, to be one that nurture’s your heart as a priority. It should give you a feeling of passion and purpose, rather than financial security. Financial security is a goal one needs to have a degree of focus upon. We do need money to pay our bills, to support our family and lifestyle, to finance our dreams. Money being ‘the root of all evil’ is a fallacy. Money is a form of energy exchange. It has no judgment. It can influence or impede financial security. It is what you do with it that matters. But financial security is often temporary and based on your decisions and emotions.

Enter into your career choice with enthusiasm, passion, and a zest for knowledge. It may turn out that your career changes as you grow older. Jobs will definitely change through the years. You may be an individual who says, “Money does not matter or drive me.” This is a learned, mental paradigm picked up from your upbringing and childhood environment. Change it. Start thinking of how you can use financial security to benefit others.

The Rosary Reflections Of A Spiritualist

Click Here for a FREE psychic reading right now at PsychicAccess.comSome of us are merely going through the motions every day, doing what we think others expect of us, doing the ‘should’ we put on ourselves. Living life by rote. I equate this to saying prayer beads. It becomes almost an unconscious act. So, when something unexpected happens, like the coronavirus pandemic, and we are forced to slow down, or even come to a complete halt, we are suddenly confronted with our own truths.

For some of us, the only things that then come to mind are all the things that we perceive we have done ‘wrong’ in the past. We feel guilt over all the people we have disappointed or hurt. We mourn the relationships that did not go the distance. We obsess over the skeletons in our own personal closet.

When we get into this mindset of shame and regret, it affects our immune system and our well-being. The ‘poor me, bad me, angry me’ turns into a very ‘toxic me.’ When the world seems to be falling apart, the mind does a life review. We let the fear and regret creep in. What if there really is an afterlife, even if you have always said, “I don’t believe in heaven and hell.” The ‘what if’s’ in life can really do a number on us. When faced with uncertain times it is only natural to think about our own mortality, and our failures and past mistakes.

One thing I find that really helps, is to reflect on the good memories. Let the unpleasant ones come and go, and not reside in your mind. Thoughts are such powerful things, especially when you are still reflecting on things at 3am in the morning, while you should be sleeping. These worries and bad memories are usually things we can’t do anything about, even if we desperately want to.

When things seem out of control, flip the switch. Reflect instead on all the things you have accomplished. Think about things in your life that have brought you great joy. Times that even one person said good job. People that have said “I hear you,” and “you matter to me.”

Making The Most Of The Ebb Of Life

Click Here for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comLife follows a cyclical pattern, of ebb and flow, whether it’s our health, money, career, education, relationship, family or lifestyle. Focusing on what brings you joy, and what we do during these challenging ‘ebb times,’ make a difference once the flow returns. During the difficult times in life, we can feel that there is not enough, or we’ve failed in our judgment, or we are in survival mode. But don’t panic, a time of ebb is temporary, and in time things will begin to flow again.

The ebb that we are currently experiencing can be a highly creative time to journal our ideas or create a new vision for our future; since we are off the spinning wheel of life temporarily.

A friend who was experiencing this kind of pause some years back, felt a sense of panic every day. He was obsessed with situations and people. After his ebb time, when things picked up again, we connected at a spiritual retreat. He shared with the group the lesson he learned from his experience.

By spending his days in panic, he felt he missed out on the luxury of free time to spend it in ways he would have enjoyed more. He always wanted to develop a course, but did not work on it during this time by doing the research he usually enjoys.

He also missed out on honing his skills for a new job and finding clarity on what he really wanted in life. He was also not working on the relationship he wanted to manifest, instead of clinging to the one that was already hanging by a thread.
