Communication Is Key To A Healthy Relationship

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comThe one thing we all want in life is to really be seen and heard. We also have the right to our own opinion and to not be judged for the way we think or feel. When we become good communicators, our interactions with others become so much easier and more constructive.

A common reason why many relationships end is because a couple just don’t seem to be able to communicate their thoughts and feelings clearly to each other. Yes, sometimes it really is that simple.

But expressing your intent clearly, so others understand without a doubt what is being said, is not easy when you feel the person you are trying to talk to is only ‘half listening’ to you.

When giving a psychic medium reading one of the biggest complaints about a relationship issue that I often hear is that my client’s partner “never listens” to them. When they try to talk about important things, the other person changes the subject or remains distracted. They don’t care enough about the other persons feelings to even discuss the topic.

Not only being able to communicate clearly but also being a good listener is the foundation for a healthy, fulfilling, and lasting relationship. When we really listen to what other people are saying, it shows respect and caring for the person or situation being discussed. When people feel they are heard, it encourages them to open up and share their feelings and opinions.

When you would like to have a heart-to-heart talk with someone, your facial expressions and posture say a lot before you even begin to speak. When you sit down to discuss any issue with your arms crossed, for example, it does not convey “I’m open to what you have to say.” When you fidget or keep looking at your phone, it sends the message you can’t wait to talk, or the phone is more important than the conversation. When you try to make eye contact it translates as caring enough to pay attention. When you are speaking to anyone, and they do the old eye roll that sends a clear direct message of how they feel.

Successful Relationships Begin With Self-Love

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comHow do you ensure your relationship will work long-term? Many callers ask me this question almost every day. In my experience, there needs to be a balance of love, caring, respect and truth for any relationship to last. If you do not have these components in a relationship, more than likely it will not work out.  If a relationship is out of balance, then it usually is too one-sided and not serving your highest good.

The key first step is to love and respect yourself, because when you love and respect yourself, you will also receive more love and respect from others. There is not much of a future for any relationship that is based on the self-sacrifice of one party. It never lasts and typically does not end well. Balance is required in matters of the heart.

Along with the respect you deserve in the way you are treated. it is loving, caring, and respectful? This is applicable to everyone in your life, including romantic partners, friends, co-workers, family, and relatives.

Respect is not only something we must demand, but we must also set boundaries for it in our daily life. When a boundary is repeatedly disregarded or violated by someone in your life, then something needs to change. This is when you have to say, enough.

Sometimes the hard decisions need to be made. If someone is not respecting you in your relationship, treating you poorly, and not meeting your most essential wants and needs, then it is time to make a change. Respect yourself enough to end it.

Too many people do not believe they deserve love and respect, for various reasons. The problem often begins in childhood. It is important to realize you do and to start loving yourself a little more – not in an egotistical way, but in a way that you love and respect yourself enough to want only the best for you and to no longer settle for anything less.

The Trust Of A Broken Heart

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comMany years ago, I met a man at a social event and we hit it off right away. We became good friends. He was from a small town and worked as a long-haul truck driver.

He would sometimes pick me up to keep him company while he was running errands or we would just hang out. I also helped him with filing his taxes and other personal documentation. But as much as he trusted me with his money, he could not trust me with his heart. After a couple of years, our relationship became more intimate and physical. Yet, even then, the emotional commitment ‘wall’ was there.

He met his ex-wife while she was working at a truck stop in an even smaller town. They married and had a child. Everything was apparently ‘sunshine and rainbows’ for a while, until she decided to go back to work.

In time, he discovered that she had been cheating on him with several other men. He disclosed to me in a vulnerable moment one night that the worst part was that everyone in town they knew about it – except him. They lived in a small community, where everyone knows everybody’s business. He was understandably humiliated and heartbroken. His disappointment eventually turned into hatred and bitterness. Due to all the local gossip, he even had to quit his job, which also added to his anger.

Soon after this discovery, I went through a major upheaval in my own life, which led me to terminate all my relationships to focus on my family. Once I had my personal situation back on track, I tracked him down.

His response to my reaching out was to simply tell me that we no longer had anything to say to each other. Then he told me to take care and have a good life. He wasn’t very nice about it and there were even a few expletives in there, but whatever.

Making Time For Our Loved Ones

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comWith our hectic schedules in a fast-paced digital world, and everyone seeming to need something urgently, our lives can be crammed with to-do lists featuring mountains of tasks, duties, and obligations.

Sometimes it is hard to believe how quickly the time goes by and how long it’s been since we’ve last spent quality time with family and relatives. Social media ‘likes’ can never substitute meaningful interaction and connection with our loved ones.

We must create opportunities to maintain these connections, foster better relationships, and touch base with young and old. We will regret not doing so someday, when it is no longer possible or viable. I have been witness to many of my clients over the years having to reach out to their loved ones in spirit with a mediumship reading, because many things were never said or shared while they were still in this life.

For years, I used to call my 95-year-old aunt every weekend. She lives about 3,500 kilometers away in a different province. So, I haven’t seen her in a few years, more recently specifically due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

She is the last remaining relative in our family from that generation, on both sides of the family. She doesn’t hear well anymore, so the calls usually aren’t very long, but she always tells me how much she appreciates hearing my voice.

My dear aunt still has a wonderful sense of humor and sometimes she enjoys reminiscing about my mom and her other siblings. Although she has four grown children, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren, it always seems to bring a spark of joy to her day whenever we catch up and share a quick story or two.

The Heavenly Love Of Our Fur Angels

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comConnecting with my spirit guide this morning , I asked what I can share in my blog today that needs to be shared with the world and spirit says the following:

One of the closest things to God’s love in this world, is the sincere love we receive from our ‘furry friends.’ And when we lose one of our fur friends or family members, it can be devastating.

When our pets pass away it is important to remember a few things, says spirit. They are very much at peace and not suffering. They remember, just like you remember them, the kindness you afforded them and how you treated them.

They are still a part of you. Love is the strongest bond. They can hear your voice even in the afterlife. So, when you speak their name with the intention to call them to you, they hear it. They are your angel, guide, protector.

If you were not able to be there for your fur friend, be it a cat, dog or any other animal member of the family you loved, know that it is okay. Do not over think it.

You do have to get to a place where you can let go of the guilt. You know that you had the best of intentions to be there and sometimes we just cannot. Sometimes we are just in a place in our lives that makes it literally impossible to be there.

I can tell you from experience that when they pass, they are comforted by those who are there for them on the other side. So, they had a smooth transition. There was no pain. Our animals do not suffer in the end. God takes care of them.

Remember To Reach Out This Holiday Season

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comThe holidays have been different these past two years. We are normally accustomed to planning big get-togethers, buying many gifts, preparing lots of food and finally gathering with family and friends. In the past, these gatherings were a given, whenever feasible, and both small and large get-togethers were marked with fun, laughter, music, food and festivities.

But a global pandemic has been curtailing our carefully laid plans and we had to be to be innovative to stay connected with our loved ones. Some people live in areas with very little impact. Others are in hot spots. Regardless of your own current situation, it is important to include people safely, to whatever level you can under the circumstances.

Please remember to touch a few lonely hearts this time of year, even if it is just by way of a quick phone call or text message. If there are people you know who live alone or are unable to join their usual groups to celebrate, do whatever you can to reach out to them and make them feel included in the celebrations. Connect virtually, send a parcel or invite them to a future event to look forward to.

Extend your reach to those less fortunate as well. This time of year can be particularly difficult for those in need.  Contribute to a charity, or reach out to a volunteer group and offer your services. A willing pair of helping hands is always appreciated.

Amid all the chaos and excitement of the season, also take some time to be good to yourself. We tend to run ourselves ragged, while it just isn’t possible to keep going at maximum speed without a well-deserved break. It is important to remember that we cannot give what we ourselves do not have. Your career or business will always be there. Recharge your batteries so you will be rested, confident, and energized to help others.

Always Be True To Yourself!

Click Here NOW for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI have noticed over the past year some interesting changes in our social behavior. It seems people have begun to project not only their energy differently, but also their presence at home and in public. Our socialization and interaction habits appear to have shifted significantly. Many people are now having to ‘relearn’ how to interact with each other in social settings, after many months of lockdowns and social distancing.

Now, I don’t see this as a bad thing at all! I am witnessing people being more aware of their personal space, and less worried about of the perception of others around them. Social interaction seems more authentic and less dressed up. We have become less concerned about how we appear to others in public. Finally, people are letting their hair down and the customary ‘keeping up appearances’ does not appear so important these days.

This suits my approach to life perfectly, as I have always been a proponent of ‘being my own beacon.’ First, and foremost it means be true to yourself, instead of trying to be what you believe others will approve of. However, this does not give us permission to be selfish and rude. We must always treat other as we expect to be treated ourselves. If you like a certain type of music, it doesn’t mean others also enjoy it. Wear a headset! If you don’t feel like interacting with a certain group of people, kindly and gracefully decline that social invitation.

Too often I see people doing things because someone else expects them to, and you can literally see the miserable, uninterested, bored look on their faces. Why put yourself through all that? Why comply with peer pressure, when you can walk your own path of happiness?

I have an acquaintance who has been miserable in their job and due to recent worldly events they have given the opportunity to break free from that toxic workplace and start doing something they have always enjoyed doing. But they were to fearful to take the leap. A wasted opportunity!
