The True Value Of Psychic Insight
There is so much more value to accessing psychic insight than simply seeking to see what the future holds. The true value of life, in fact, is not in the future. It is occurring now, in the moment. This is where eternity is truly touched.
The Bhagavad-Gita (Song of God) is a spiritual manual for humanity, spoken over 5,000 years ago, between the infallible Lord Shri Krishna and His dear devotee Arjuna. It offers timeless wisdom to appreciate the value of the present, the now.
This conversation is said to have taken place neat the battlefield of Kurukshetra, in the current state of Haryana, India. In the capitol, known as Hastinapura (present day New Delhi), the blind king Dhritarashtra sat with his minister Sanjaya, inquiring about what was occurring between his sons (the Kurus) and their cousins (the Pandavas), as they gathered with their respective armies to fight for the throne.
Dhritarashtra’s nephews were the rightful heirs and righteous rulers, whose kingdom was usurped by the intrigues of their evil-minded relatives. Refusing to go in peace, the Kurus incited war. As it was set to begin, Dhritarashtra was anxious and restless to know what was transpiring between the two parties.
The king’s clairvoyant, Sanjaya, tuned in to what was happening, as if by transcendental television. By the grace of his spiritual teacher, Sanjaya had received this ability to see and hear from afar.
Sanjaya’s guru gave him these gifts of clairvoyance and clairaudience in order to render a great service, not only to the king, but to the world for centuries to come. For, what he relayed to Dhritarashtra included divine instructions imparted by Krishna to Arjuna (one of the Pandavas) when he was bewildered by the situation before him.
Although Arjuna was, in fact, a fully-realized soul beyond the influence of illusion. He merely played the part of an ordinary conditioned human, so that these immortal words would be spoken for the benefit of all those seeking to navigate their way through the troubles of life, and reach its ultimate purpose.
The Universal Language Of The Other Side
I have come across varying opinions, and even read a couple of books, claiming that a certain ‘language is spoken’ on the Other Side. But I have had a very different experience doing mediumship readings. In my experience there is no actual ‘language’ that is used for communication in the spirit realm. Instead, I experience it as what is best described as telepathic knowing.
In my work with spirit I have not personally encountered any sign of spoken language. In the spirit realm there is no attachment to language, dialect, culture, ethnicity, or nationality. Those aspects of human identity are an earthly concept.
On the Other Side, we communicate telepathically and empathically through pure consciousness, which in human terms translates to feelings, thoughts, sensory perceptions and mental imagery.
The souls we communicate with can read our mind. They know, for example, if you love music. So, they will communicate with you in songs, knowing it will reach your awareness more easily.
Often, in medium readings, I will smell a certain smell like, roses, pumpkin pie, and so on. The soul I am communicating with knows I am a vegetarian, so they always polite have me smell food that would not be offensive to me.
I smelled lemon once, and was shown lemonade. My client told me her grandmother was known for her lemon orchard and the lemonade she used to make. It was a special memory from her childhood.
Signs Your Angel Is Near
Each of us has a guardian angel… a spiritual being whose purpose it is to watch over us and guide us through life. But since our angels are (usually) invisible, and can come and go in a split second, how do we know when they are near?
Specific patterns are usually the most telltale sign. Do you keep seeing numeric patterns repeated, on license plates or billboards, for example? Are the same songs always playing in whatever public place you go to? Your angel is probably sending you a message. What does it mean to you? If you do not understand the message, try and determine the meaning through Numerology, getting an angel reading, or meditation.
Angels also have a way of communication with our subconscious, specifically through the world of dreams. Most, if not all of us have had at least one series of vivid, repeating dreams. This is also the work of the Divine, and holds meaning. Since dreams are not easily remembered, try keeping a dream journal, or learning techniques of lucid dreaming and dream recall.
The counterpart to subconscious dreams are clairvoyant visions, which we may experience while awake or in a meditative state. They are usually very vivid and real, and are often an urgent message from an angel, so it’s important to take note whenever they occur.
Purple Love From The Other Side
Recently, I was in my kitchen cooking, when the song Purple Rain, by Prince, kept playing in my head. It was stuck in my mind, loud and clear, the verses of the song, over and over again throughout the day. I didn’t think much of it at the time, other than I must have recently heard the song playing somewhere.
The next morning while I was meditating, I was shown a shape by Spirit. At first I couldn’t make out what it was, but then the vision became more clear. I sensed it must had to be the shape of a state in the United States, but I was not sure which one. After my meditation, I searched for the sate on the map and discovered it was Minnesota.
Later that day, I once again kept hearing a Prince song in my head. This time it was Paisley Park. That night I had a dream about an oddly shaped electric guitar, which I didn’t understand. I also heard the name “Roger.”
Every day, for a whole week, I was receiving these clues, like a puzzle to solve. Each one somehow related back the musical artist Prince.
That night my daughter sent ‘coincidentally’ sent me the link to a YouTube video of Prince performing Purple Rain. She just said it was one of her favorites and wanted to share it with me. It was uncanny, because I hadn’t told her a thing about what had been happening with me lately.
I have to admit, until the time of these events, I knew very little about Prince’s music, and absolutely nothing about his personal life. I used to hear his songs being played on the radio in the 80s and 90s, and I did enjoy them, but I never knew much about him as a person and an artist. Continue reading
From Believing To Knowing
“I wish I believed in the spirit world like you do,” my best friend commented many years ago. I then told her that it wasn’t so much a case of believing, but more of a matter of knowing.
Last week, a new friend asked me to teach him how to have this ‘knowing’ that I have. But I really have no idea how to do that? I never experienced a transition from believing to knowing. The ‘knowing’ has always just been there.
I have always felt that the spirit realm is our true connection to home. As the years passed, I began more and more to view planet Earth as our schoolroom. And boy can we get some lessons while we are here!
When I think back, I have recollections of spirit activity around me from when I was about five or six years old. My parents and I were living in Ottawa, Canada, at the time, where my dad had recently been employed. We were temporarily living in a creepy rental home, until my father found his feet and we would be able to move to a house with better vibes.
I recall seeing and hearing shadow beings in the hallway of that eerie house in Ottawa, and I remember telling my mother about the paranormal activity I sensed there. But she thought I was just imagining things, or seeking attention. I also recall lying in bed, scared, listening to what sounded like chattering voices. The energy in that old place wasn’t malevolent, but it didn’t feel benevolent either.
The most profound experience occurred when I was just nine years old. We had moved back to the United Kingdom and were visiting family friends. They were hosting a party, and the kids were sent off to bed, while the adults carried on with their social event below.
The Spiritual Symbolism Of The Peacock
