All Is Well Where There Is Gratitude

click here for a free reading at PsychicAccess.comI was sitting at camp this morning, thinking of all the things I had on my schedule for the day and the upcoming week. I had somehow overbooked myself, yet again. Not even four sips into my coffee… and I already felt some stress rise up in my chest.

At that moment I heard a little ‘purr-meow,’ as my cat Oscar looked at me quizzically. He always helps me to put life into perspective. We all need that honest friend who will tell us like it is, and get us refocused on what really matters. Oscar was sitting on his perch by the window. As he shifted his gaze to me, I could hear him say, “Why so stressed mama? We’re at camp and it’s a beautiful day out. All is well.”

Find Your Pet With The Golden Thread

click here for a FREE reading at PsychicAccess.comI am a proud ‘pet mama’ of two cats, who could not be more different from one another. Francis is fearless. She’s an agile huntress who is always catching dragonflies and darting around the house. Merlin, on the other hand, is slow and lazy. He is more content to make friends with mice and munch on leaves. He is a cat who just loves to love.

When I awoke one morning to discover Merlin was missing, I was devastated. At first I couldn’t believe it. We had recently relocated over a long distance, so he was not at all familiar with our new area. He is an indoor cat who is afraid of grass and any kind of large moving objects, such as the boughs of trees moving in the wind. I was very concerned.

Finding Your Tribe

click here to get a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comAfter returning from a Tarot conference recently, I thought about how being in community with like-minded souls raises our individual and collective vibration. It inspires and supports us in many ways. To show up and be seen gets our creative juices flowing, assists us to dream a new dream, dust off that idea or project we put on the shelf, meet new people, and it speaks volumes about self-care and extending a hand to others. It reminded me of the African Proverb: “If you want to travel fast, go alone. If you want to travel far, go together.”

Being part of a community that is involved with the things we love puts us back in the flow of life. It is one of many reminders that we are not alone and challenges us to say yes to life. It assists us in examining how we are showing up for not only our life, but for others. It brings us back on the path of our life purpose. We see or hear the challenges others are going through and become inspired by their bravery. We as individuals and a community then find ways to support each other not only through the challenging times, but in our accomplishments or works in progress. We are all unique souls coming together, with others making a space for us to celebrate who we are and what we create. Conscious Conflict Resolution

click here to get a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comDealing with tension and conflict is one of the most challenging relationship dynamics anyone can deal with in life. How many times have you found yourself in a yelling match with someone you love? Or ending an argument with a friend or relative feeling miserable, and unresolve?

Getting to the root of an issue without all the drama sometimes can feel impossible. But conflict resolution is a skill, and one that can be honed with practice and patience. Here are some practical steps to help you shift from reaction, to consciously seeking resolution when faced with difficult conversations.

Cultivating The Sacred, Or Breeding Contempt?

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comLet’s imagine you own an exotic, stunning Bengal cat. Gorgeous markings, intelligent maybe, even psychic. It often acts more like a dog than a tiger and… it also poops. The whole package is the cat. Do you focus on the smell and inconvenience of the poop when sharing stories and talking about the cat? Do you always bring up in conversation what you know about the cat poop, and perhaps other unsavory behaviors? No, of course not! Usually you brag about your cat.

Yet, when it comes to humans, people will brag about how much they know the unsavory (in their opinion) underside of someone, especially if it is a movie star, or a well-known spiritual teacher or healer. It is as if you know some ‘gory details’ about someone of note, this is proof you are ‘in with the it-crowd’ because you know these private things.

If it is a spouse, and you do this, it can often be an underhanded way of control or expressing anger that you do not have the courage or maturity to express directly with the intent of healing and becoming closer with your partner. People who have learned to behave as victims often make this passive-aggressive choice.

All people have a ‘poop side’ to them. Why would anyone choose to focus on that? Are they too scared to stay on their own path, in their own lane? Do they feel the need to be better than others? Why do some people feel obligated to let others know they are one of the ‘special ones’ that has seen the ‘poop side’ of someone, especially if they bring it up in public in an inappropriate fashion? How does that feed their ego, or their wounded self-esteem? Why does that make them feel safer in their world? Do they use it as a way to avoid a direct problem-solving conversation with the person? The Cat Whisperer

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comI recently had to take my cat, Max, to the vet. He hadn’t been feeling well and I woke up one morning sensing I needed to call the vet. I am glad I did, as he had an acute urinary tract infection. Male cats are more prone to getting these type of infections.

His medical emergency took me back to a time when I first felt the need to adopt cats. My best friend, who was an up-and-coming veterinarian at the time, encouraged me to adopt kitties. I felt at the time I couldn’t even have just one or two, because I didn’t want the responsibility, but as the years passed, I wound up adopting six in total!

What was very special to me about adopting these fur babies, was that my vet friend passed away in 2007. Her death impacted me to the point where I became despondent, until I adopted my first baby in 2009 in her memory. The rest is history. I would often joke with my ex that it was my dearly departed friend’s fault for us having so many cats.

It seemed like we adopted one after the other in a short period of only two years. Max was the last kitty we adopted. I didn’t want him at first, thinking we already had too many as it was. My ex had asked me three times in one week if I wanted Max, as he knew the owners and they were going to return him to the shelter. His previous owners didn’t want another cat, since their first cat ran away and returned to their home one night. How I Communicate With Spirit

click here for a free psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comWhen I do readings, I use a process whereby I ask Spirit to come forward, with a great deal of protection and guidance, to provide clear, concise and accurate information for the highest good for all concerned.

Spirit always comes through with a great deal of love. They gather to help guide, guard and protect us. They often give us suggestions or recommendations and support us in times of need. However, we all have our own free will, so it is up to us to make the final determination as to whether we will follow their guidance.

There are some things I do not address during a reading. From the very beginning, I have asked my guides not to give me anything to do with health, death or lottery numbers. Therefore, I do not give any medical diagnosis, neither do I foretell someone’s passing, or give out so-called ‘winning numbers.’

Also, if Spirit feels that a particular question is inappropriate, they will not show me anything. Sometimes, they will say specifically that they cannot disclose that particular information.

Spirit uses a combination of direct voice, symbols, and expressions to communicate messages. Symbols are a type of short cut that, over the years, Spirit has developed with me to make certain messages as clear as a bell, without having to go into greater detail. Continue reading
