Christmas week is upon us, but before we get to the weekend festivities the Sun will move into Capricorn on Wednesday and a Capricorn New Moon on Friday. Both these aspects will set the stage for a shift in focus and direction.
Today and tomorrow could prove quite ethereal under the Scorpio Moon, as we’ll be inspired to turn inward to process things on a deeper soul level. Whether we’re excited or anxious for the fast approaching holidays, or feeling a bit blue, these two days will be about restoring inner harmony and balance before proceeding.
Wednesday’s transition of the Sun into Capricorn sets off a four-week cycle of review, reflection, and revision, as we close out one year and prepare to move into the next.
Wednesday and Thursday’s Sagittarius Moon will lift our spirits and move us forward with hope and joy.
Friday’s Capricorn New Moon promises new ideas and opportunities are coming our way, so we should write down any ideas or thoughts we have about changing the future for implementation after the first of the year.

Things flow pretty smoothly this week as we finalize plans for the holidays and map out a plan for completing anything that needs to be finished up before the end of the year. The Leo Moon will shine brightly today and tomorrow, encouraging us to immerse ourselves in heartfelt conversations and passionate activities.
Don’t be surprised should your love life take a dramatic turn for the better today, so wear something alluring so that you are dressed for the part. The Sagittarius Sun sextile with Saturn in Aquarius inspires increased commitment in existing relationships, or finally meeting that love of your life. It is an ideal aspect for a marriage proposal or an unexpected invitation to go on a date.
So, if you are single, you may want to join your colleagues for lunch in the cafeteria today, or go out for a quick snack, as the stars are perfectly aligned around midday for meeting that someone special. Think romantic comedy moment with someone dreamy accidentally bumping into you with coffee!

Spirit Will Guide You Through Life’s Murkiest Fog
This time of year, I am usually way too busy to spend much time relaxing on my porch, but today, I just felt it was high time for some ‘me time.’ Yes, psychics and mediums tend to be great at giving guidance to others about the necessity for taking some ‘me time,’ but not so good about following our own advice.
It is always so calm and peaceful to just rock away in my favorite chair on the porch, feeling the energy of the ocean. It is a wonderful time for me to meditate and connect with my spirit guides and loved ones in spirit.
Looking out over the ocean, I observed some ‘sea smoke’ over the water. Sea smoke, also known as ‘frost smoke’ or ‘steam fog,’ is a type of fog that arises when extremely cold air moves over warmer water.
The sea smoke can become so dense that it is impossible for sailors to clearly see all the boats and yachts on their moorings. This is when one hears the tugboat’s foghorn guiding the big tankers safely to their destination. Although it is a strange, eerie sound, it is also reassuring to know the boats can find their way through the sea smoke.
As I came out of meditation, I noticed the sea smoke had finally started to lift. I could now see the red tugboats and the sun was peeking through the clouds. It looked like a slice of heaven to me.
Then the thought came to me how symbolic this beautiful sight was of life’s challenges and how we can overcome adversity more easily with the support and guidance of spirit.
Stay Spiritually Uplifted This Winter Holiday Season
For some people, the approach of winter is a fantastic time of the year. They love to walk amongst the golden autumn leaves, breathing in the crisp air that enlivens the soul, while looking forward to the festive holiday season.
For others, the holiday season is a time of fear and dread. It is for some that time of the year when they feel more bored, lonely, depressed and lacking in enthusiasm. I used to be one of those people. I could not wait for it all to be over, so the brighter days of spring could arrive. But these days I have a very different outlook. I have learned ways to lift my spirits during this time of the year. Yes, winter holiday period does not have to be a ‘dark night of the soul!’
If you are currently also dreading the fast-approaching holiday season, the following self-care strategies can help you turn this time of the year into a period of true joy and upliftment. It is always great to have something uplifting to look forward to, especially when the nights are cold, long, and lonely. This time of the year is the perfect opportunity to set new goals or personal targets that will add value and excitement to your life. No need to for New Year’s Eve to make your resolutions. Start setting those intentions
Once you have set your goals, begin to meditate on and visualize those intentions. Once you get your intentional energy rolling, the Universe will assist you in manifesting your endeavours by cosmically aligning you to the desired end result.
Astrology Forecast December 5 – 11, 2022
Today’s Taurus Moon will prove most productive, as we plow through our obligations and free up the rest of the week for personal pursuits.
Take care however to maintain your mental equilibrium this afternoon under the Taurus Moon conjunction with Uranus in Taurus, as this transit is known for disrupting our reason and inner balance and cause us to act out of character. You may also get a surprise visit from a long-lost friend or estranged relative this afternoon, so keep your cool if someone shows up unannounced.
Your mood may be a bit down or sad this evening due to the Taurus Moon square with Saturn in Aquarius. Do not ‘self-medicate’ with rich, heavy foods or alcohol, as you will pay for it with indigestion that will only make matters worse! Do some light exercise instead by dancing in your living room or playing with your pets.
Mercury will move into enterprising Capricorn tomorrow, setting us on a course to gather more information and review current methods to see where change might be needed.
The Moon will wax full in Gemini on Wednesday, marking the start of a two-week period of reflection and reconnecting with those dearest to us over the holiday season.
Venus will move into Capricorn on Friday, adding a creative flair to all we do and reminding us to practice more authenticity and become more grounded in all we do.
The Cancer Moon on Friday and Saturday will turn our thoughts to home and family, as well as creating a sense of security and stability.

Simple Energy Work To Balance The Elements
The ancients believed that the Universe is composed of five elements, namely Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit (Ether). These classical elements are an important theme in Ancient Greek, Indian and Japanese philosophy, Hermeticism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Medieval Alchemy and Western Astrology.
