Feeling Stuck? Maybe It’s Time To Clear The Clutter!

Recently, I found myself in exactly that place. My energy was low. My motivation had all but evaporated. My health was taking a hit.

And even though I was doing all the “right” things-helping others, staying aligned with my purpose, and working toward my highest good-everything felt dense, heavy, blocked, stuck.

In a quiet moment of surrender, I finally sat down and asked my guides, “What am I missing here?

The answer I received was very simple, yet profoundly eye-opening:

It’s time to clear the clutter…so you can move forward.”

At first I was stunned. What? Really? But after some careful reflection, the wisdom of this guidance from spirit sunk in.

The idea of clutter is one we often associate with messy rooms, crowded surfaces, or overflowing closets, but its reach goes much deeper.

Clutter can accumulate in our minds, emotions, energy fields, and souls. It’s not always visible, but it weighs us down. It can block intuition, dull our spark, and create invisible walls that keep us from stepping into our divine potential.

As I reflected more deeply, I saw how the mental clutter of unprocessed emotions, unfinished tasks, old disappointments, and subtle fears had created a kind of fog between me and my inner clarity. Each small deviation from my intentions built up over time, separating me from my higher self and my soul alignment. When one goal slipped out of alignment, it created a ripple effect that affected everything else.

And this wasn’t something the world was doing to me. It wasn’t bad luck or external chaos. It was me-unconsciously allowing the clutter to build up and seep into my vibration.

So, I did what I know works. I trusted the guidance and began to clear and de-clutter my heart and mind.

I sat in silence, focused on my breath, and with each inhale I invited in divine love and light. With each exhale, I released clutter – mental chatter, emotional residue, and negative energy that didn’t belong to me. I created a field of pure love around me and called upon Archangel Michael to place his protective mantle around my energy field. I reclaimed my auric space.

And something shifted. I felt it immediately. Lighter. Clearer. Connected.

In that sacred stillness, I remembered a vital truth: we are the guardians of our own energy vibration. It is our responsibility – and our sacred privilege – to keep our inner house in order. When we do this, we reconnect with the rhythm of our soul and the flow of the universe. We allow manifestation to unfold more easily. We feel rooted again in the clarity of our path and soul purpose.

If you feel stuck, off track, or energetically drained, it may not be that you are lost or a failure. You may simply be cluttered! And clearing that energetic clutter isn’t just about spring cleaning your house-although that’s powerful, too. It’s about detoxing your soul of everything that no longer serves you.

You may be wondering where to begin. How do you clear the clutter on every level-physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual? Here are some practical steps you can take today to reclaim your energy and move forward with clarity and grace:

Sit in mindful silence daily: Even just a few minutes can help you reset and tune in to what’s really going on inside. Let your intuition guide you more than your logic-your heart always knows the truth of your soul’s path.

Focus on your breath: Try this simple mantra – breathe in love, breathe out clutter – to center your mind and clear your energy field.

Declutter a physical space or area: Clean out just one drawer, corner, closet, or surface in your home or workspace. Donate what no longer serves you to make room for new blessings. Bless the belongings you choose to keep to further infuse your environment with divine love and light.

Cleanse your environment: Use a crystal grid, smudge with sustainably sourced sage or palo santo (“holy wood”), do a sound cleanse with Tibetan bowls, sprinkle some salt or holy water, or diffuse some essential oils to refresh and uplift the energy of your home or workspace.

Take a soul inventory: Journal about thoughts, habits, or emotions that are no longer aligned with your highest good and set the intention to release them. Write in your journal before bed to clear the mental noise and allow your subconscious to heal while you rest – it’s much better than “doom scrolling” through your phone!

Create an energetic shield: Each morning, call upon Archangel Michael or your chosen guide or higher power to surround you with divine protection and light.

Cut energetic cords: Visualize cutting the cords between yourself and anyone or anything that feels heavy, draining, or unnecessary in your life.

Do a digital detox: Clear the digital clutter by unsubscribing from email and unfollowing online content that doesn’t align with your growth or peace. Or better yet, go completely offline for a while. Take a break from the news, social media, or gossip to allow your energy field to reset and re-tune to positivity.

Release old, stale goals: Release outdated aspirations and intentions that no longer resonate with who you are becoming or where you want to go with your life.

Forgive yourself and others: Offer forgiveness to yourself and others, not because they deserve it, but because your soul deserves to be free.

Ground yourself in nature: Walk barefoot, sit under a tree, or breathe deeply in nature to recenter your energy and align with the rhythm of the earth. if you cannot go outside or have no suitable and safe place to go, do a guided nature meditation or start a windowsill herb garden.

Practice saying no: Reclaim your time and energy by saying no to what drains or burdens you and yes only to what inspires your or nourishes your spirit. Affirm your boundaries and practice authentic yes and no to protect your energy and maintain your spiritual integrity.

Clear the past with a ritual: Write down what you’re releasing and burn the paper (safely) or bury it in the garden as a symbol of surrender and spiritual renewal.

Hydrate and nourish your body: Drink plenty of water, eat intuitively, and treat your body as the sacred vessel it truly is.

Do something just for you: Make joy a priority by doing something soul-nourishing, playful, or peaceful-just because it feels good!
