Am I psychic? People ask this question all the time, and the answer is unequivocally, yes! As children, our psychic gifts are obvious to us in the forms of our vivid dreams and daydreams. We also experience strong intuitions about people and objects, and even our imaginary friends, who are really our spiritual guides. But what happens when we get older? Why do most of us lose this part of ourselves? It’s common to hear skeptical people say that psychic abilities do not exist. The truth is that we’re all born with a particular psychic gift, and sometimes more than one.
Think about the last time your instinct reacted strongly. Was it telling you the location of a lost object? A winning combination of lottery numbers? Perhaps the feeling that an old friend would call? These feelings are all forms of extra-sensory perception (ESP), and they are glimpses of what is to come from the universe. They’re also usually correct. Read the rest of this entry »
Many spiritual seekers are looking for some sort of evidence of past lives, or an afterlife. Many of us yearn for a way to recover from the spiritual amnesia that we are apparently born with. I believe we are born with clues into our past lives. These clues are so much a part of our daily lives, we simply overlook them.
Have you ever wondered where birthmarks come from? Or, if there is any link between birth defects and reincarnation? I’m not referring to the marks that are hereditary. I’m referring to those brown or red spots, also known as ‘strawberries’ or ‘angel kisses.’ These marks typically appear at birth. Some are located between the eyes, or on the neck, stomach or lower back, essentially anywhere. Read the rest of this entry »
Many people believe that we come onto the planet at a particular time and arrive at a particular place of our own choosing. There are diverse theories as to the accuracy of this idea, but let us pretend for a minute that it is a spiritual truth. Would it not then follow that we also choose when we will leave this earthly plane and where we will leave it from?
If this is the case, would we not also know when we are preparing to leave? Do we know before our own moment arrives? We may have a loved one be away on a trip when a fatal accident occurs. That would certainly prevent us from having the opportunity of saying our final goodbye. Others might have a long lingering illness before finally succumbing, but at least those remaining behind could endeavor to prepare for the grieving process that inevitably will ensue. I remember, for example, seeing a three year old (I almost always see them as three years old for some reason) playing next to a sixteen year old classmate when I was still in high school. Six months later, this classmate left school, because she was pregnant. I was still confused by my psychic abilities and still doubting them at that time. I remember thinking it was just a coincidence.
I have had this happen so many times, that I no longer doubt that I am seeing the new soul connecting with and getting used to the energy of their soon to be mother. I have never seen this with fathers. I am not sure why; perhaps it is because the soul needs to connect with the mother’s body and energy, because the two will soon merge? It is a myth that everyone is supposed to meet a ‘soulmate’ in this lifetime. Don’t get me wrong, soulmate connections do exist, but this phenomenon is quite rare. It is a singular spiritual anomaly that is certainly not predestined for most of us.
In a world where intimate relationships have become extremely challenging to navigate, the search for the ever-elusive soulmate has become a contemporary obsession. We have co-created a modern society where detachment, loneliness and disconnection reigns supreme, despite our easy access to social media and communication technology. Against this background, the manic hunt for the ‘love of our life’ has become one of our generation’s most profoundly tragic acts of free will.
In my view, the most disturbing aspect of this ‘wild goose chase’ is the fact that it is so often encouraged, or even set into motion, by well-meaning psychic readers and relationship coaches! Too many times, throughout my career, I have had to help pick up the pieces of a broken heart, or a destroyed life, after someone created false expectations for my client with the sweeping statement, “Yes dear, he definitely is your soulmate!” Read the rest of this entry »
One the best Tarot readings I have ever had was many years ago, using a very old-fashioned method – I wrote a letter and mailed my questions to the reader. This lady was amazing and sent back a cassette tape of the reading. Her soothing voice from the tape deck told me my soul came from another planet. That was the reason that I was different and felt different, she went on to say to vive a la difference and enjoy my individuality. I did not know it at the time, but she was telling me I was an Indigo Child. The reader told me I was different, and to embrace it. The process and her insight were fascinating and I have been forever changed by her words. Read the rest of this entry »
I’ve always known that I was intuitive, but didn’t begin to call or define myself as a psychic – let alone a medium – until I was well into middle age.
Unlike many psychic mediums, I didn’t have childhood experiences with spirits in any shape or form. There were no ancestors watching over me as I slept. Nothing but dust bunnies hid under my bed, and my friends were all clearly visible and in the flesh!
I never thought of myself as strange, because I enjoyed reading about the paranormal, the supernatural, and famous psychics like Edgar Cayce and Ruth Montgomery. I just thought I was weird, because I liked to read, period. Read the rest of this entry »
Do you know someone that seems to have all the luck? They win lotteries, hit the jackpot at the casino, are drawn for the first prize in raffles. Everything just seems to fall into the lap of these lucky people. Were they born under a lucky star? Can the heavenly bodies be the reason for this unexplainable luck? Can the cosmos affect a person’s psychic ability?
Lucky folks seem to breeze through life without a care in the world. I have a friend that swears she paid her new car off with her winnings at the casino. Another says she remodeled her house with her winnings from the lottery. But I’m fully convinced that while we may hear about the winnings, there are many losses that are never talked about.
