Seeing The Future In Precognitive Dreams
Many people will tell you that they’ve had a precognitive dream at some point in their lives. In short, this is a dream that somehow revealed or predicted a future event or circumstance. Literature, myth, and history are filled with stories of such dreams, from ancient times to the sinking of the Titanic.
The concept of precognitive dreams has fascinated mankind for centuries. In ancient cultures, dreams were seen as messages from the gods or the universe, guiding individuals through their waking lives.
The Bible, for example, contains numerous accounts of prophetic dreams, such as Joseph’s dreams that foretold his rise to power in Egypt. These stories underscore the long-held belief that dreams can provide glimpses into the future.
But how much truth is there in the idea of dreaming the future? Is it really a thing?
Throughout history, people have reported dreams that seemed to predict future events. These precognitive dreams, as they’re called, have included personal tragedies, world-shaping conflicts, and even scientific breakthroughs.
Carl Jung, a prominent Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, was interested in the phenomenon of precognition in dreams. He believed that dreams could sometimes contain elements of future events or insights that were not consciously available to the dreamer. Jung coined the term “synchronicity” to describe meaningful coincidences that defy conventional explanations of cause and effect, suggesting a deeper connection between the psyche and external events.
Psychic Messages In Mediumship Readings
A few years ago, I received what I initially thought was an evidential message from a deceased relative during a spiritualist service. It came from a well-respected medium who often gives psychic readings on stage and to groups.
But I eventually realized that the reading she gave me was actually a psychic reading of a living person’s thoughts about me, not a spirit message from the afterlife.
During the demonstration, the medium looked at me and said that she was sensing my female relative, but that it was not my mother. She described her age, appearance, and singing ability.
She also mentioned that this lady lived in a terraced house in the north of England and that we were similar in our ability to get things done, keep a tune, and stay active.
I was puzzled by this information because I felt certain that this had to be my maternal aunt, my mother’s only sibling, whom she was describing. My mom’s sister fit the age and appearance perfectly, she lived in a terraced house, and she used to sing at weddings and other events! I had no other female relatives who fit that description. So, it had to be her!
But there was just one problem: my maternal aunt was still very much alive and living her best life up there in Northern England! I then realized the medium had psychically picked up my aunt’s thoughts about me at that time. Yes, it is not commonly known that it is in fact possible for mediums to pick up psychic information about or from living people during a mediumship reading or spirit channeling.
The Psychic Insights Of Remote Viewing
In my own journey of intuitive development, I have been exploring the possibilities of Remote Viewing. It is a psychic skill that is not often talked about.
Remote viewing is a clairvoyance technique that allows you to gather information about a distant or unseen target, such as a specific location, object, or event, using extrasensory perception (ESP) or “anomalous cognition.”
Remote viewers have minimal or no prior information about the target and rely solely on their capacity for “nonlocal awareness” (distant psychic sensing) to explore and describe it.
Remote Viewing gained popularity in the 1970s and 1980s, primarily through the efforts of the U.S. government-sponsored Stargate Project.
It is essentially the practice of clairvoyance using a formalized technique or protocol developed by the U.S. military during the Cold War as a tool for intelligence gathering. Over time, however, it has transcended its military origins and become a subject of interest to those seeking to tap into their latent psychic abilities.
Although a number of remote viewing studies have been conducted by individual researchers, most of the activity in this field to date has been conducted by three major laboratories: The Stanford Research Institute (SRI) in Palo Alto, California, the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research Laboratory (PEAR) at Princeton University, and the Mobius Laboratory in Los Angeles, California.
Spiritual Is Sometimes Just Coffee, Cats, And Crochet
When I’m not working, spirit still comes to me when I’m in a very relaxed, mindful state. This often happens when I’m having my early morning coffee. Usually it is my guides telling me what to focus on for the day.
Sometimes I also perceive the name of a client who will be contacting me that day, or some information about a person in my life, or even a warning about something I need to be aware of.
The communication is always very clear, direct and significant, so I have made it a habit to always have my journal with me, especially when I have my morning coffee. That way I don’t miss or forget anything, as I sometimes did in the early days.
I also often receive spirit messages when I spend time with my sweet cats. Cats are little Zen Reiki healers, their purrs have a hertz frequency that is very healing and conducive to a spiritual state of mind. For some reason I can also see people’s auras better when the cats are around.
Another time my psychic awareness is heightened is when I am crocheting and suddenly I just know things. I “zone out” a bit and then answers just come to me about things I have been wondering about for myself and those I love.
The Future Possibilities Of Business Telepathy
In the dynamic world of business, where the exchange of ideas and the capture of customer attention are paramount, a form of communication that goes beyond conventional channels is an intriguing prospect. Consider, for example, the possibilities of telepathy as a groundbreaking business communication strategy.

Psychics, mediums, channelers, and prophets have been around as wayshowers or pathfinders since the beginning of time, offering insight, guidance, and predictions to those seeking divine answers to their most pressing questions.

One of the most famous psychics of all time was the Oracle of Delphi in ancient Greece. She was a priestess at the Sanctuary of Apollo in Delphi and was known for her ability to channel prophecies. She would enter a trance-like state and utter divine messages and predictions. These prophecies were often sought by kings, generals, and wealthy community leaders seeking guidance or insight.
In ancient Egypt, pharaohs consulted psychic oracles and mediums for advice on matters of state and personal affairs. They also employed soothsayers who practiced various rituals and divination techniques to access divine wisdom and foresight.
In ancient China, divination and psychic practices were deeply embedded in the culture. Oracle bones, inscribed with symbols and used for divination, have been unearthed at ancient sites. Soothsayers, known as fangshi, offered their services to those seeking guidance and insight.
When A Message From Spirit Makes No Sense
There are times when spirit takes me out of my comfort zone with a message or prediction for a client. This is usually when what I need to convey to the recipient does not make an ounce of sense to me, to the client, or to both of us.
I must confess that there have been occasions when I have tried to avoid discomfort or embarrassment by not delivering the message at first. But spirit would absolutely insist, haunting me with a nagging feeling that would eventually compel me to find a way to deliver the message, no matter how bizarre it might seem.
Over the years I have learned to trust the flow and not hold back, but there are still times when I feel like I am going out on a limb until I get feedback from the client confirming that the message or prediction was valid after all.
Some messages also seem silly because a deceased loved one was known to have a strange sense of humor or to play practical jokes on people while in this life. As strange as some of these messages may seem at first, I find that they always bring much joy and comfort to the recipients.
