Self-Care
Astrology Forecast February 5 – 11, 2024
Mercury moves into Aquarius today, challenging us to think differently for the next few weeks. Breaking out of old molds and thought processes will be the challenge as the rulin planet of communication, intellect, and the mind moves through this electric sign.
Our most productive days of the week will be tomorrow and Wednesday as the Moon marches through Capricorn, so get your to-do list completed before the fireworks and celebrations begin, as this week marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year 2024.
This year we celebrate the Year of the Dragon, more specifically, Wood Dragon. An Aquarius New Moon occurs on Friday, February 9th, which officially kicks off Chinese New Year on February 10th, lasting until January 28th, 2025.
The Year of the Dragon is any esteemed year in Chinese culture, as it is associated with strength, prosperity, and good fortune. In the Chinese zodiac, each year is associated with one of the twelve animal signs, and the Dragon is the only mythical creature in the cycle. People born in the Year of the Dragon are believed to inherit the dragon’s characteristics, which include intelligence, ambition, courage, and a strong sense of justice. Continue reading
Breaking The Pattern Of Relationship Trauma
Today I did two consecutive readings for clients who are obsessed with a relationship from a long time ago. They both wondered why the relationship ended and what could have been if things had gone differently.
In retrospect, there have been many similar calls recently. I have even had clients who have had vivid dreams and nightmares about a particular ex-love, lost friend or estranged family member.
In all cases, I find that Spirit consistently offers the same guidance. These haunted thoughts and obsessions are due to a lack of closure and unresolved trauma. Spirit has also indicated that there is a growing epidemic of loneliness in the world. Because of this, more and more people are dwelling on old relationships and their regrets.
This has even happened to me recently, with people from my past that I have not thought of or seen in years coming to mind more and more. It can be surprising and disconcerting to have such random memories pop up. Spirit gave me exactly the same wake-up call. These memories are a sign that there is a need for forgiveness and healing. It is essentially a form of delayed grief, when instead we should be having happy and fond memories of the people in our past.
I find it helps to remember that they, like me, were just doing the best they could with what they knew and had at the time. When someone has shown signs of unkindness or aggression, I have also come to realize that it was the result of their own hurts, losses, or disappointments.
A Spiritual Approach To Sales Success
Some of my clients work in sales and have expressed how difficult it is to earn a good commission these days because of the competition in the marketplace. I always advise them to consider a more spiritual approach.
A spiritual approach to sales encourages a focus on building long-term relationships rather than just closing transactions.
Repeat business and customer loyalty are often the result of sustained and meaningful connections.
In a competitive marketplace, companies that emphasize spiritual values stand out.
Many customers are drawn to companies that prioritize authenticity, transparency, and meaningful connection. It enhances reputation and appeal to a growing number of spiritually conscious consumers.
Intuition and divination strategies can provide additional insights to boost sales success. Sales professionals can use these insights to make more informed and strategic decisions, and to sense trends or opportunities in the marketplace before they become apparent.
These insights can also provide guidance on when to launch new products, enter new markets, or initiate major business changes, aligning actions with favorable cosmic or energetic conditions.
Spiritual Living Begins With Electromagnetic Health
Your mind-body is electromagnetic. The human brain and body generates and responds to electrical and magnetic fields in ways that science does not yet fully understand.
This electromagnetic activity in our mind-body is particularly prominent in the brain and nervous system, where neurons communicate with each other and with other cells using electrical impulses. It is critical to various mind-body functions, including our thoughts and sensations. The electrical nature of the human body also extends beyond the nervous system. The heart, for example, generates electrical signals.
Why is this important to know? Because our modern lifestyle and the technologically-charged environment in which we live negatively affects our spiritual awareness, intuitive perception, and holistic health.
While many spiritual seekers and psychic students invest a great deal of time and effort in the pursuit of sophisticated spiritual practices, complex energy work modalities, and fancy intuitive development techniques, what they should be paying more attention to instead is the electromagnetic health of their mind-body. Not only is this fundamental to heightened spiritual awareness and healthy living, it is also quite easy and simple to achieve by making some practical changes to your daily lifestyle.
Coping With The Loss Of A Loved One
Many people I know, including myself and several of my clients, have experienced the loss of a child or grandchild.
Losing a grandparent or parent is heartbreaking, but losing a child is absolutely devastating! It is difficult to understand why someone so young is taken before they had a chance to live a full life.
A few years ago, I found some solace for my continuing grief from a very unexpected source.
I am an avid Nascar fan. If you don’t know what Nascar is, it is the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. Stock car racing is one of the largest spectator sports in America.
A few years ago I watched an interview with one of the masters of this sport, Richard Petty, also known as “The King.” His words struck a deep chord with me.
Richard Petty’s grandson, Adam Petty, was also a racer like his grandfather. He was only 19 when he died in an accident on May 12, 2000 while practicing the sport he loved so much. His car hit the outside wall of the track, killing him instantly.
In the interview I watched, his grandfather spoke of his depression, guilt, grief, and not wanting to get out of bed because he felt he was somehow to blame for encouraging his grandson to pursue this sport that cost him his young life.
Unstuck Your Life With A New Spiritual Practice
One of the most transformative things we can do in life is to step out of our comfort zones and infuse our lives with new vitality. As creatures of habit, we tend to get stuck in life with repetitive routines and recurring patterns that drain our energy and stifle our personal and spiritual growth.
When conventional methods fall short, exploring spiritual or esoteric practices can breathe fresh air into our lives and help us break free from the shackles of monotony.
Feeling stagnant, experiencing a lack of fulfillment, or longing for personal growth are all signs that it’s time to break free from a comfort zone, a soulless daily routine, or a recurring toxic pattern that no longer serves our highest good. These indicators often signal the need for change to invigorate or even reinvent our lives.
By adopting a new spiritual practice and delving into realms beyond the ordinary, we embark on a new journey of self-discovery and soul expansion that unlocks our hidden potential and transforms our destiny. Exploring esoteric and occult traditions offers alternative perspectives and transformative experiences that can expand our consciousness and provide profound insights. It can uncover hidden knowledge and help us tap into higher realms of consciousness that enrich our lives.
Astrology Forecast January 29 – February 4, 2024
The week begins with great energy to get your show on the road with three determined Virgo Moon trines this morning.
The first trine with Mars in Capricorn will kick off the day with decisive action, willpower and resourcefulness, followed by a trine with Uranus in Taurus to promote creativity, originality and an innovative mindset. The third trine with Mercury in Capricorn will seal the deal with some quick-witted intelligence, sound judgment and practical thinking.
Get as much done today as you can to set the stage for the week ahead, for when the Moon moves into Libra tomorrow, our work ethic will take a backseat to our social and emotional lives. You may find yourself more interested in social activities, spending time with friends and nurturing your relationships.
The Moon moves into Scorpio on Thursday afternoon, bringing a more intense energy through Saturday. Some of us will be drawn to spiritual and esoteric pursuits, while others will take on projects that require intense focus and attention, like taxes, haha!
Watch out for the Scorpio Moon square Pluto in Aquarius on Thursday afternoon, as this transit is known to cause drama and conflict. Think twice before you lash out and avoid fights over taxes, joint finances, debt or alimony!
