Questions That Truly Satisfy The Self
Once upon the ages, over 5,000 years ago, the world’s great saints, sages, and spiritual scholars assembled at a place called Naimisharanya. This sacred forest was known to them as the energetic hub of the Universe, from where the benefits of their practices, sacrifices, and speech would extend to all the world’s inhabitants. Thus, they gathered here specifically with the intention of welfare for every living being.
By dint of their self-realization, these wise seers were gifted with foresight of the Age of Quarrel in which we now live. They considered that humans of this time would be short-lived and plagued by various mental, bodily, and natural disturbances. So, they contemplated what they could do to bring relief and the highest good for all in the many generations to follow.
They selected Suta Goswami as the most elevated among them, offered him a seat of esteem, and inquired from him with great respect. Because Suta Goswami was free from vice, learned in all scriptures and teachings of physical, metaphysical, and spiritual knowledge, and properly guided by the great masters, who had gone before him, the sages regarded him as most qualified to enlighten them about the Supreme Truth. Therefore, they humbly approached him with inquiries toward that end.
The sages began with six questions which they had ascertained to be of primary importance:
1. What is the absolute and ultimate good for people in general?
2. What is the essence of all scriptures and prescribed practices, by which the hearts of every living entity may be fully satisfied?
The Psychic Whispers Of Spirit
Have you ever heard mysterious whispers? If so, what were they trying to tell you? Well, growing up in Columbus Ohio, I often heard whispers or someone I could not see who seemed to be trying to tell me something. Today, I know this is known as the psychic sense of clairaudience.
I could not understand these whispering voices back in the 1960’s, and it was certainly not something you would talk about. Things like paranormal phenomena, mediumship and psychic abilities were simply unheard of in my community! It was different then, not like today.
These days we have easier and more open access to paranormal and psychic books, videos and information sources on the Internet. Nowadays you can just log into your computer or tap your phone, and find something about these subjects; or you can switch on your TV and stream your favorite channel. It seems almost every channel you turn to has some of other program about paranormal or psychic phenomena these days.
I never had the opportunity growing up to tell my parents the truth about my clairaudient ability. It was bad enough that I was able to see stuff and that I knew what would happen in the future. The fact that I heard ‘whispers’ I simply had to keep a secret! But now I know when you have a gift like this, God gave it to you, because he has a plan and purpose for your life.
When I hear these whispers, I have learned to tune into what they are trying to tell me. Sometimes it is my mother or father, who passed on, wanting to tell me something. Sometimes it is my spirit guide trying to get my attention.
Being a psychic my ability to hear these ‘whispers’ gives me a better understanding and access to valuable insights, but it can also be very challenging. For example, my wife and I have been house-hunting for some time now. I was amazed to discover in how many houses I would suddenly no longer hear the realtor or my wife speaking to me. Instead I heard whispering voices asking me questions like “why did I die?” and “Can you help me please?” or “Where have they gone, why are they no longer living here?”
The Gifts Of Psychic Communication
How does a loved one in the spirit realm communicate with a psychic medium? Actually, there are many methods of communication that spirit may use to reach us. It mostly depends on the relevant psychic or medium. Each reader or channeler has different psychic abilities.
Some of us can see, while others hear, sense or feel. These abilities are more commonly known as the ‘clair senses.’ Reputable psychics and mediums will always do their best to communicate what they perceive using the various psychic senses. The zodiac signs we are born under afford us certain personality traits, talents and gifts in our lifetime. Over the course of one’s life you can typically see these traits in an individual’s personality and life choices.

We are all metaphysical beings born with a variety of spiritual gifts. Some of us intuitively know how to use our special gifts early in our life, while others may have difficulty embracing them.
Expressing our natural spiritual gifts takes a certain mindset. The key is to not try too hard. That’s right! No blood, sweat or tears are necessary. Just relax, surround yourself with calm and positivity, and clear your mind. Our metaphysical gifts and psychic talents flow naturally when we don’t try to force it.
We experience intuitions, signs and synchronicities every day, but often we do not pay enough attention. You may have felt someone was coming to visit today, or a vision of that person flashed through your mind, and then you bump into them later.
Maybe you smelled a sweet scent that reminded you of someone, or you knew the phone was going to ring, and it just did. We may have a feeling not to drive a certain way home today, and later discover that we missed a major traffic jam. We all have an inner voice that talks to us when we have important choices or decisions to make.
Some people have won the lottery, after the numbers just ‘popped into their mind.’ We all have dreams that reveal important information to us about the past, present or future. Miracles Happen Every Day
A miracle is described in the dictionary as “an event attributed to divine intervention”, and also referred to as “a phenomenon that defies the laws of nature”. The online Encyclopedia Britannica defines a miracle as “an extraordinary and astonishing happening that is attributed to the presence and action of an ultimate or divine power”. In certain translations of the Bible the terms “wonder,” “mighty work” and “sign” are also used to describe miracles.
Most people would say that a miracle has occurred when the medical profession says there is no hope for a particular patient, and then, miraculously, the patient recovers fully, and without the complications which would have been expected connected to their condition.
But miracles are not necessarily always larger than life or dramatic. Miracles can happen for anyone at any time. And don’t expect an earthly explanation, or even to be taken seriously by everyone when the miracle has happened to you.
People have often told me of little miracles that have happened to them. For example, they don’t know how their bills will be paid, and out of the blue they receive a check in the post, or money is given to them, or they would win the exact amount needed to lift them out of their financial dilemma. Although I can’t prove it scientifically, I also know for sure that miracles have happened to me.
Two separate miracles I recall very vividly are both connected to my pets. A dog, and a cat named Miracle!
When my 5 year old Rottweiler, Sophia, was rushed to the vet with what we thought was an upset stomach, a burst duodenal ulcer and peritonitis were diagnosed instead. The vets had little hope, because even for strong humans this ailment can be life threatening.
Following the diagnosis, the vet phoned me and said they had to operate immediately. I asked if I could phone my husband and get back to them. I was informed with a sense of urgency that there was no time to do that, and even if they did operate on Sophia immediately there was very little hope.
