Your Unique Role In The Global Awakening
A caller recently asked me to clarify something that her brother talks about constantly. He tells her that she has her “head in the sand” and that we are on the threshold of a “global awakening.”
‘What is he talking about?‘ she asked.
There has always been talk of a global spiritual awakening, for as long as I can remember.
In my youth, I assumed it might be something dramatic or supernatural, like a divine rapture, or angelic beings appearing all at once, or extraterrestrials arriving with a profound message of love and peace for planet Earth.
My understanding completely changed in the mid-1980s when I discovered the teachings of Emmanuel, the spirit guide channeled by the late Pat Rodegast, whose work has remained a favorite of mine ever since.
In Emmanuel’s Book II: The Choice for Love, Emmanuel speaks about the challenges of these times and how many souls have chosen to incarnate now to witness the global awakening.
The awakening as a worldwide shift in human consciousness. Set Your Soul Free With The Power Of Forgiveness
I remember watching The Greatest Story Ever Told with my mum and dad when I was a little girl, way back in 1965. The film is a classic biblical epic that dramatizes the life of Jesus of Nazareth from the Nativity through to the Crucifixion and Resurrection.
For me, the most harrowing scenes were those of Jesus on the cross, praying and asking God to forgive his executioners because “they know not what they do.” As he was mocked and tortured, enduring unimaginable pain, he made this simple, yet extraordinary request.
I remember wondering: how can someone even begin to find forgiveness at such a moment? And why would Jesus want to forgive those cruel torturers at all?
For Jesus, dying was not only about salvation; it was also about demonstrating unconditional love for humanity…even for those who condemned him.
He was embodying the very teaching he had shared so many times: to love one’s enemies. His plea for mercy on behalf of his executioners remains one of the most profound examples of that teaching in action.
In this way, Jesus stands as the ultimate role model for forgiveness, tolerance and unconditional love, even in the darkest hour.
But how can we possibly follow such an example in our everyday lives? And what are the true benefits of doing so?
Why Our Souls Cannot Afford A Lack Of Empathy
Life has a way of weaving unexpected lessons into even the most ordinary or practical situations. Sometimes what begins as a business transaction or a casual encounter becomes a doorway into something far more meaningful, a reminder of the deep human connection we are all longing for and the healing power of simple empathy.
I recently found myself in a situation that reminded me of this truth in the most unexpected way.
I am in the process of selling two homes in different states, which has been quite challenging. Anyone who has sold property knows how stressful and complicated it can be…much less two properties at the same time!
Over the past couple of months I had spoken to quite a few realtors and interested buyers. One agent initially showed strong interest in one of my homes. He seemed genuinely eager, but then he suddenly disappeared without explanation. My calls and messages went unanswered. While I did not sense that he had completely lost interest, I could not wait indefinitely and had to continue moving forward with my plans.
Still, I could not shake a quiet concern for him, as though something more was happening behind the scenes, and the feeling carried a weight of unease.
Several months later, he reached out unexpectedly, asking if I had sold my property yet. He apologized for vanishing and then explained the reason for his absence. He had been in a serious car accident and had spent time in the hospital. His injuries required surgery, and bolts had been placed in his foot. Now he was in physical therapy, learning to walk again.
Awakening To A New Age Of Higher Dimensions
Many of us have been gradually becoming aware of a different kind of reality in recent years. Things that were once hidden, both good and bad, are now exposed for many of us to see.
Since the new millennium began, and especially in the last ten years, more and more of us have started to feel a deeper connection to a higher power and a growing desire to align with God, Spirit, and the Divine. At the same time, we are also becoming more aware of negative and dark energies that were always present, but are now obvious and undeniable.
This worldwide change is known as the Ascension, the Shift, or the New Earth paradigm. It is a significant shift in energy and awareness. It is also known as 5D consciousness, the Age of Aquarius, or the Great Awakening.
It is a deeply personal change of moving towards unity, love, and a higher level of awareness, and away from negative, fear-based energies of a lower level of awareness.
I’ve seen enough of the negative effects of these lower vibrations in my work to know how draining and soul-destroying it can be. I plan to keep moving with the tides of this new, higher vibrational frequency, which includes not buying into the fear, drama and negativity. It also means keeping an open heart and mind.
We are living in a time of conscious evolution. We are slowly moving from the third-dimensional existence, where duality, time, and materialism remain the focus, to a fifth-dimensional reality, where love, unity, and higher consciousness.
The Lightworker’s Mission To Heal The World
Do you feel a pull toward something greater, a spiritual mission, an inner calling to make the world a better place? Or perhaps you’ve noticed people in your life who seem to radiate compassion and empathy, who heal emotional wounds with their presence, or who inspire others to see the beauty in the world-even in the darkest of times.
These people are known in the metaphysical community as “lightworkers.”
Lightworkers are incarnated souls with a special spiritual mission — to change the world for the better. We act as conduits for divine love and light and the healing energy of spirit, striving to balance the energies of the planet.
The key mission of the lightworkers is to help shift human consciousness to a higher level of awareness. By embodying love, compassion and understanding, we serve as models for a more enlightened way of being. Our presence encourages others to awaken to their own potential and contribute to the collective evolution of humanity.
Lightworkers often work in subtle yet powerful ways. They do not always announce their mission or seek recognition for their efforts. Instead, they work quietly, spreading positivity through their actions, words and energy. Whether it’s offering a kind word to a stranger, creating art that inspires hope, or simply holding space for someone in need, their contributions are invaluable.
Earth Angels, Synchronicity And Divine Miracles
When people tell me they don’t believe in earth angels, synchronicity and miracles of divine intervention, I always ask them if they’ve ever heard of Katie Lentz and the mystery priest.
Her story is a powerful example of the mystical and awe-inspiring ways spirit and the divine can manifest itself when we need it most.
In 2013, Katie Lentz, a 19-year-old college student in Missouri, was involved in a serious car accident when another driver crossed the center line and collided head-on with her vehicle. Her car was crushed and she was trapped inside.
Rescuers struggled to free her, but the situation was dire. After about an hour, they feared she might not survive due to the extent of her injuries and the difficulty of extrication.
At a critical moment, Lentz asked for someone to pray with her. Then a priest mysteriously appeared out of nowhere. He was described as dressed in traditional priestly garb and carrying anointing oil. He prayed with her, anointed her, and told the rescuers that they would soon be able to free her.
Almost immediately after his prayer, an additional rescue team arrived with the equipment needed to free her. But when the rescuers turned to thank the priest, he was gone. No one at the scene recognized him, knew where he came from or went, and he didn’t even appear in any of the photos taken at the scene.
Understanding The Higher Self
In modern spirituality and metaphysics, the concept of the “higher self” is generally considered a cornerstone of spiritual awareness and conscious living.
The idea that we have a “higher self” is found in many spiritual and mystical traditions, although it may be called by different names and understood in different ways.
Despite these differences, the underlying idea is that there is a higher, more enlightened aspect of our being that we can connect with and embody.
Often mentioned in discussions of intuition, mindfulness, enlightenment, and the search for deeper meaning, the higher self is seen as a guiding force or eternal soure of wisdom that transcends our everyday consciousness.
Yet despite the common use of this term in modern spiritual communities and teachings, there remains a great deal of confusion and variation in how the higher self is understood and interpreted. There are many different opinions and beliefs. Some see it as our inner connection to the divine or universal consciousness. Others see it as the true spiritual essence, free from the limitations of the human ego. And some simply see it as an alternative term for our eternal spirit or soul identity.
In my experience, most of the confusion and misunderstanding arises because the higher self is mistakenly seen as a distinct and separate entity from the soul or spirit. From this perspective, the higher self is seen as entirely separate from our soul, representing our connection to something greater than ourselves, to the divine or universal consciousness.
