Who Are You, And What Do You Really Want?

They think they do, but they are as far removed from the truth of what constitutes their innate being of actual contentment as a doughnut is in wholesome nutrient composition.

If you don’t know who you are, you can’t possibly begin to imagine what you absolutely want. Without knowing who you really are, you may have lived your entire life under falsely embellished suppositions, firmly influenced ideas, fearfully established goals, and fastidiously monitored aspirations of others. Instead of following your own heart’s desire, you may be living out the unfulfilled dreams of others, as a means of pacifying their deeply-unresolved natures.

Unfortunately, we carry within our own psyches the uninvited, infiltrated voices of countless people who have ever made an impact on us, and continue to do so. It matters not whether the impact is negative or positive, those influential voices prevail.

Restlessness, body weight issues, promiscuity, boredom, depression, anger, loneliness, lying and lawlessness, health concerns, and substance abuse and addiction, whether it be alcohol, drugs, food, sex, shopping, social media, or simply gossip, are all verifiable barometers of not knowing who you are and what you want. When we are not in-tune with the ‘still small voice’ that resides within the deepest recesses of our psyche, we manufacture a superficial existence of continued disappointment.

Competence And Confidence

If we consider ourselves to be competent, does this so-called confidence arise naturally from the specified experience of validated competence? Or does the experience associated with confidence ‘stay on the surface’ of things? And does it then have to be renewed over and over, to continually prove the level of expertise, once the particular hailed experiment, or event, or situation is over?

In other words, how do we hone a certain skills or ability enough to be competent and confident with the knowledge gained, developed and demonstrated, without having to repeatedly ‘prove’ our worth and merit? And, should we feel the need to prove our expertise in any area of life, are we not placed in a defensive position, whereby our competence is questioned and our confidence doubted?

Some may argue that confidence is an inborn trait and can not necessarily be developed by perfecting a certain craft, skill, talent or gift. But, whoever would take this position, has not done their homework in actuality to establish, cultivate and maintain expanded potential.

Competence comes through repetitious practice, until the act is perfected. Then, confidence rides piggy back on the polished competence, from the very fact that one does not have to ‘think’ about what is being achieved. Yes, thinking interferes with the competence, and therefore inhibits confidence.

In order, to learn to ride a bicycle with ease, one must practice, fall repeatedly and work with the laws of gravity until balance is preserved. But, even then, the magic of riding a bike happens of its own accord without the aid, interference or assistance of the rider. Once accomplished, no one can unlearn.

Intending And Manifesting

Again, you plan all the details. Yes, all of it. You intend and manifest it all, before coming here. Why? You do this on the Other Side, with your wise guides, detached from physical, human needs and desires.

What are these desires? We have five senses. Therefore things like eating (taste and scent), sex (touch), beauty (sight), music (sound), as well as intellectual stimulation (mind) start to dominate our desires in this physical life. We start to worship money, romance, adventures, security, possessions and many other distractions. These desires are distractions, because you already decided and arranged to have wealth or poverty, a successful love life or loneliness, and many other circumstances before you came here.

You arranged your life to come here to evolve as a soul. That means some of us came here to be billionaire entrepreneurs or famous celebrities, while others came here to be unsuccessful, destitute, or even worse. Each set of circumstances is a lesson, a course of study that you came here to experience. And human desires are distractions when they are worshipped, when you pray for them, hunger for them, focus your life around them.

Personally, I have never met anyone who was working hard on manifesting world peace, or setting an intention to be a more generous or selfless person. The self-help industry offers thousands of books and workshops for people to learn to manifest money, a better love life, a career that will feed the ego. For example, I doubt anyone has ever done affirmations, or created vision boards to manifest a successful home cleaning business!

Change Your Life With Mantras And Affirmations

It is possible, however, through training your mind, to ‘flip a switch’ to activate feelings of joy and happiness with just a few words. This is known as affirmations and mantras.

The two concepts are somewhat similar or related. Mantras are short words or phrases used in meditation in order to create focus, peace and calm, as in the practice of Zen. Affirmations are positive statements of intention that are repeated frequently to create new neural pathways, thought patterns and energy frequencies.

It’s easy to incorporate these two techniques into your daily spiritual practice.

Mantras

If you already meditate, you may choose a traditional mantra, such as Ananda (the Sanskrit word for bliss) or Ohm (the primordial, sacred sound of all creation). You could also choose another mantra that has special meaning for you, or even create your own.

As you engage in meditation, pay special attention to your breath as you focus on you mantra, either spoken aloud, or silently in your mind. Let all negativity go as you exhale. Repeat this process for 10 to 20 minutes each day, preferably in the same place, without any outside distractions. This way your mind begins to associate your mantra with feelings of calm and serenity.

Tomorrow Will Worry About Itself

Click Here for a FREE psychic reading at PsychicAccess.comScrolling through my Facebook feed today, I noticed a link to an article titled, “Hell Is Coming.” It featured a graph for the stock market plummeting deeply into the red. Obviously, I did not read the article – the picture and title said enough!

I am sure you have also been noticing an increase in negative messages on social media platforms and in the mainstream news. As a spiritually aware person, I don’t see any intrinsic value in this kind of negative speculation.

Yes, we all must deal with the circumstances that we are currently facing in our world, and it is important to effectively process our feelings along the way. However, when it comes to speculation, there is no difference between a positive speculation and a negative speculation. They are both fantasies conjured in the minds of others, spreading through our adoption of it.

According to some self-proclaimed ‘experts’ the sky is currently falling! Fortunately, I have never taken much stock in conspiracy theories and doomsday soothsayers.

It is true that we are going through a time of unprecedented change, and we are facing challenges that we have never faced before. But, that dramatic article could have easily read, “A Cure For Covid-19 Is Coming” or “This Is A Great Time To Invest In Affordable Stocks.” Why is it that we don’t see many opinions about best-case-scenarios out there?

Making The Most Of The Ebb Of Life

By spending his days in panic, he felt he missed out on the luxury of free time to spend it in ways he would have enjoyed more. He always wanted to develop a course, but did not work on it during this time by doing the research he usually enjoys.

He also missed out on honing his skills for a new job and finding clarity on what he really wanted in life. He was also not working on the relationship he wanted to manifest, instead of clinging to the one that was already hanging by a thread.

Easy Ways To Manifest What You Need

Okay, maybe you deserve all of that, but let´s start with just one of those outcomes for now!

The important thing with visualization is to feel as if you already received what you desire – to feel how your body and mind accepts the new reality. If it seems too difficult to accept, this might be part of the reason why you do not have it yet. Therefore, it is important to start practicing deliberate manifesting with those things that you honestly want, and feel are not too difficult for you to accept.

Finish your visualization with a positive statement of intent, such as, “May it be so, or something better for all.” Then open your eyes. This could be done in just a couple of minutes, with some practice.
