Spiritual awakening does tend to occur spontaneously, and from what I’ve witnessed, the more open-minded the person is and the less attached to outcomes they are, the more available or ‘ripe’ they are for a spiritual awakening to occur.

For example, watching a carefree child at play, unaware in the midst of their joy of the likelihood, the inevitability of a fall sometimes becomes apparent and very clear to those with experience looking on.
The fact that some of us are able to see more, and in more detail, and further into the future, should therefore not be so impossible to conceive – as disconcerting or uncomfortable as this may be to the doubter.

When you develop intense feelings for someone, it can be hard to tell if you’re experiencing lust, infatuation, or the beginning of genuine, lasting love. All three feelings can be powerful and overwhelming, but they are very different.
