Shashunda is my guardian angel who has been with me since birth. Our angels are always with us, but won’t interfere unless we ask them.
Shashunda tells me to always remain connected to Mother Earth and all she gifts to us humans. She says so many are in such a hurry these days that they never truly access the gift of true peace, grace and happiness.
She says the angels are communicating with all of us, but most don’t know how to listen to them. Those random thoughts that don’t seem routine thoughts is usually your angel telepathically communicating with you for your betterment. Read the rest of this entry »
Anyone can call on the angels to help them in any situation. Carl Jung called the angels, “The thoughts of God.” You do not have to belong to a specific religion or denomination to ask the angels for assistance and guidance. They are unconditional love manifested into form and can help us through all our challenges.
One thing that I have found useful on my own journey of forgiveness is to engage the angels in my own forgiveness work.
Try this brief invocation to ask the angels for guidance on your healing journey:
Holy Mother, Holy Father God, Light and Love of the Universe, I ask today for assistance with my path. I ask for the angels to surround me and fill me with the light of truth.
As we wander through life we encounter many roadblocks, many stumbling blocks and many disappointments. There are many questions that arise as we walk our path. At times it feels like the entire world is against us.
This is simply an illusion that we create in our humanness. Spirit does not want you to fail in your life. Spirit does not want you to be unhappy. Spirit does not want you to live a pauper’s life. However, so many people blame God, Spirit, the Universe, or other people for the situations they are in and cannot get past.
It is time to sit down, take a look at all that has happened to you and discover two things about each situation: why did it happen and what was the lesson you learned from it? As you look at the examples of pain, suffering or disappointment in your life, what do you see?
For example, you have been with the love of your life for many years, married, children and one day you wake up and that partner has left you for another person. What could you have done to prevent this? What could you have done differently? Why were you not enough? You were in love, totally and unconditionally, and you thought they felt the same way about you. Why did they do this to you? Read the rest of this entry »
Sometimes you try to force things to happen, or in your over-excitement you actually block the coming, the creating of that which you desire. Understand that there is always a Divine order that is occurring simultaneously within your human framework of time and space.
Divine order is that which occurs when you allow the angelic realm, your spiritual council, and God to co-create with you. When you are in the flow of divine order in your life, things become easy and effortless, frustration dissolves and a beautiful trust rises up within your being, unshakable faith and belief.
When you are forcing your will in your life, and trying to push things through you come up against walls. There is much struggle, irritation and frustration. Read the rest of this entry »
The time has come for change, new beginnings, the start of a new year. Have you done your homework? Are you ready? Are you stuck? I ask you these questions, as the beginning of a new year is a time of reflection.
This is the perfect time to look at the past year and ask yourself, “How did I do?” Did you check any boxes off on your bucket list? Did you manifest anything new, different or exciting into your life? Or did you stay stuck where you were at the beginning of last year?
I impress upon you to pick up a pen and a journal, or even just a piece of paper, and start to write what things happened to you in 2016 that you are grateful for. I urge you to write down the continued intentions for your life. Even if they were on your list last year, and did not happen, write them down again. Read the rest of this entry »
About 10 years ago, a friend of mine went to see a psychic in Cuba. It was a completely spontaneous decision made on the spot. She walked into the dusty old store and sat down. The old woman who was doing the reading handed her an old deck of Tarot cards. They were so worn that the figures on the cards were unrecognizable.
The old woman handed her the deck and said in broken English, “Hold them to your heart and place them face down when you are done.” My friend did as she was instructed.
The old lady studied the Tarot spread for a moment and said, “Heartache is making your body sick… broken….from a man that couldn’t love you. He had the broken disease and he gave it to you.” She closed her eyes and shook her head not looking up, “He left you for another.” Shaking her crooked finger back and forth she pointed at my friend, paused, and with piercing black eyes firmly said, “Leave it behind you and you will heal. Keep it in your heart and it will kill you.” Read the rest of this entry »
Many years ago, when my husband and I were just a young couple with two lovely little daughters, we lived in the beautiful province of Quebec, Canada. Around about this same time his parents resided on an army base in the province of Ontario, which was a five hour drive from where our home was located. Every few months or so we would load up the girls in the car and set off for a weekend visit to the in-laws.
One particular Sunday, at the end of another visit, we embarked on the usual five hour trek back home. It was a very pleasant day, the sun was trying to make its presence known and the traffic, as luck would have it, was just moderate. We had been on the road for a few hours at least, when I felt or sensed a change in the air. Read the rest of this entry »
I know my angels stopped me from going to work that day for a reason. I knew I had work to do that day that was important enough to keep me safe from injury, or worse.
I will never forget the day of that highway accident. It was September 3, 1999 and I had asked for that day off work, which is something I never did. I was an Office Manager at a tool shop, and worked under a very arrogant accountant whom, I’m sure, had control issues when it came to his staff.
He didn’t feel I should have the day off, as it was already a long weekend for us in Canada. The Labor Day holiday would have afforded me a four day weekend, instead of a three day weekend. I had been working there for several years, however he still said no. He had threatened that I would lose my job if I took that day off, as he didn’t approve it and had no intention of changing his mind. Read the rest of this entry »
