Begin Every Day With An Attitude of Gratitude
I find that people who don’t appreciate what they have, often have their gifts and blessings challenged, or even lose it. And obsessing about what we don’t have can lead to depression and anxiety. It certainly does not help you to attract more into your life.
So, consider shifting from thinking about what you don’t have, and what you want and goals, and instead try an ‘attitude of gratitude.’ This is a dramatic shift.
Changing from thinking about what we don’t have to instead feeling grateful for what we do have, what we have been given, and what we have already achieved, changes what we attract.
This shift in thinking does not mean you can’t have goals, it just means you don’t feel an emptiness associated with those goals.
Nothing is missing. There is just more to be gained. You already have the sundae… it doesn’t need that cherry on top. A cherry would just be a nice bonus!
I’ve seen people become so obsessed with a timeline for getting married, for example, that they soon did get married… but to the wrong person!
The universe knows your true destiny. It knows what you need and when. Try to be patient and trust the flow.
Putting 90% of your focus on feeling grateful for what you do have and 10% on what you would still like to obtain, will completely change your outlook on life, as well as your physical and emotional health.
Nourish Your Mind, Body & Soul With Real Food
My relationship with food evolved the day I decided to start my own garden. I didn’t have much space where I lived, so I rented a plot in a community garden nearby, for a very small fee.
Although it soon became a part-time job, it also turned into my sanctuary. Any stress from the day cleared when I went there.
I was always eager to go there and visit my growing family of fruits, herbs, flowers and vegetables. It made me feel like a child again!
Connecting with the Earth on such a deep level also gave me a new perspective on my spiritual identity.
From being inspired by fellow gardeners to teaching my son important life skills, I was motivated to get serious about treating my body like a temple and also raising awareness in others.
Something I once took for granted and paid little attention to, became a great passion and concern for me.
I saw our society falling into a downward spiral health wise and knew it started with the quality of our food and water.
I began to educate myself more on how everything we consume was being processed and came to the conclusion how vital it is for us to re-adopt some of the old traditions of our grandparents and ancestors. By taking their wisdom and applying it to our current food crisis, we can raise the consciousness of our world, feed the poor, and heal ourselves in mind, body and spirit.
Context, Context, Context
In the sales and marketing field they often talk of ‘location, location, location’ (no matter how good your product or service is, how successful you are often comes down to location). Perhaps in our communication with others we should think of context, context, and context?
We have entered a period of time in the world that communication is misconstrued, even fake and has more opportunities to be interpreted as confrontational, biased, and not politically correct.
On top of that put an individual’s personal style of communication – introvert, extrovert, analytical, emotional subjective and all the other styles, and the matter becomes more thorny.
Then, add even another layer, such as email and social media, which does not involve the other person being face-to-face.
Now communication becomes even more complex, because body language and the human expression energetically is not a resource available to us to can pick up on the subtle options for interpretation. We will initially respond to the email from our frame of reference, and our reference alone, which is biased by our experiences.
So what do we do? Well, we recognize the importance of ourselves being energy vibration, through which our body communicates consciously and subconsciously with everything in our environment. We acknowledge that our emotions, beliefs and thoughts are complex, inter-connected and influence each situational response in our communication.
Feng Shui Your Home For A Happier, Peaceful Life
I am very much into how our thoughts and feelings help create our future. However, it needs to be asked what external factors affect those thoughts and feelings in the first place, such as our environment, for example. Therefore, the ‘Queen of Clutter’ (that being myself) would like to discuss how Feng Shui could help you attract better fortune into your life. Feng Shui is an ancient art from China, which involves balancing energies in any particular place. Here is how you can do it.
Begin With The Bagua
A bagua map (also called pakua) consists of nine squares, each one symbolizing an essential part of a balanced life. This map can be used in any room in your house, as a guide to finding the right area for positioning things.
You see, particular spots in any given room and particular objects contain the best energy possible, and a Bagua map will help you pinpoint these spots. All you need do is align the bottom part of your bagua map with the entrance to your room, and arrange things in their proper place thereafter.]
Get To Know Your Map
Should you be serious about using Feng Shui effectively, then understanding the bagua and what each section of it represents, is vital to your future success with this science. Quite simply, there is no other way than by taking your time and applying due consideration to the process of learning. In doing so, you should reap immense rewards, achieving a balanced and happier environment, and therefore a happier more balanced you.
Why This Rune Reader ‘Reverse Plans’ Her Day
If you’d asked me a few years ago how I welcomed a new day, I would’ve rattled off a checklist: what needs to be done, what must be scheduled, what’s urgent and what’s not. I thought a structure schedule and curated life was strength. I believed that manifesting my future meant controlling it before it even arrived.
But somewhere along my spiritual path, I began to dance to a different rhythm. It was a kind of sacred tempo that doesn’t rush or demand. That doesn’t forecast before it senses and feels.
Today, I want to share that magical alternative rhythm with you. I call it reverse planning. It’s not a rigid system, but an invitation to trust time the way a rune whispers its truth.
Our modern culture tends to treat calendars like hammers. We use them to nail down the future with agendas, meetings, goals, and deadlines. On paper, life appears orderly, efficient, and decided. But for many of us, that creates a low-level anxiety that’s hard to name.
We wake up already carrying the weight of what hasn’t even happened yet. The day feels predetermined before we’ve had a chance to participate in it.
As someone who reads runes, symbols that speak across the ancient thresholds of time, I’ve come to believe that true guidance rarely comes in the form of a command. Instead, it arrives quietly, in the pauses, in the spaces between breaths. That’s where reverse planning begins: with presence, not pressure.
Love Is Not Just A Battery, It’s Also A Boomerang!
Love is like a battery. Love is also like a boomerang.
When your energy is low, you may feel depleted and think you don’t have any more love to give. The opposite is also true. Complimenting a stranger or showing love to an animal or person re-energizes your battery.
Love is infinite, not finite. The love and joy you give to others comes back to you.
In fact, I often tell my yoga students and psychic clients who are struggling with depression or sadness to compliment at least ten people each day.
It can be something as simple as saying, “I love that shirt!” or “Your writing is so neat!” The smile on that person’s face raises your vibration, healing you as well as them. Most people are struggling with some kind of challenge, and that one compliment can change their day.
Studies have shown that smiling releases hormones that make you happy, while frowning releases hormones that make you sad. Laughing and crying intensifies these hormones. So, smiling at someone or laughing can actually raise your joy level and vibration.
We live in a hate and frustration driven world lately where people are increasingly divided and constantly judging and attacking each other. I belong to several social media groups where people constantly being unkind and intolerant to others. Continue reading
True Love Has No Time Limit, And No Deadline!
We live in a busy world where most of us have gotten used to a very hurried life. Everything is on a strict schedule and time limit, because we now judge everything this way.
We have become a restless society demanding instant solutions and immediate gratification in all things.
If the line is too long at the supermarket or fast food restaurant, some of us get upset. If we have to wait for our doctor when we have an appointment, we become annoyed. Some cut in front of others, or even cross streets while the light is still red, because they hate to wait.
Similarly, if we do not get an immediate reaction from our latest love interest, some of us do not become just a little restless or anxious. No, they get really upset!
If this kind of hurried, rushed way of life plagues you, then you may definitely need an major attitude adjustment. Because your naturally loving heart and your capacity for love and romance may be in serious trouble.
Maybe your heart never got the memo that there was no need to constantly hurry up and adhere to time limits and deadlines.
What happened to dating? Romantic chats? Patiently anticipated expressions of affection? Dozens of love letters, and more recently emails and test messages? The joint holidays and weekends away? The looking forward to new adventures together?
