The Gifts Of Psychic Communication
How does a loved one in the spirit realm communicate with a psychic medium? Actually, there are many methods of communication that spirit may use to reach us. It mostly depends on the relevant psychic or medium. Each reader or channeler has different psychic abilities.
Some of us can see, while others hear, sense or feel. These abilities are more commonly known as the ‘clair senses.’ Reputable psychics and mediums will always do their best to communicate what they perceive using the various psychic senses. It is advisable to get your psychic readings only from psychics and mediums who have one or more of these abilities.
Clairvoyance (clear seeing): the ability to ‘see.’ It is the psychic ability to see visions in the mind’s eye. It is typically experienced as mental flashes or visual imagery.
Clairaudience (clear hearing) – the psychic ability to hear messages being spoken by spirit.
Clairempathy (clear feeling) –the ability to feel the emotions of others in this world and the next.
Clairsentience (clear sensing) – more commonly known as intuition, such as a hunch or gut feeling.
Claircognizance (clear knowing) – the psychic ability of just knowing things. Along with clairsentience this is the most common psychic ability.
Clairolfaction ( clear smelling) – the psychic ability associated with smells, such as smelling a departed loved one’s favorite perfume.
The Truth Be Told
Have you ever been told you are just too honest? Well, I have, and this very statement has given me a lot of food for thought. I have been wondering why being honest does not typically win any popularity contests?
It took a lot of meditation and mulling it over in my mind for several days, for me to finally decide how I felt about people being ‘too honest.’
Truth be told, I would much rather be honest and deal with other ‘overly honest’ people, than the opposite. I prefer not to have people smile to my face, and then later stab me in the back.
A client who has been reading with me for over a decade, came for a session recently. She was very depressed and teary-eyed. Before we even started, I saw in my mind’s eye my symbol for a broken heart. I also saw that she would find healing, but not soon.
It soon unfolded that her boyfriend of two years had in fact broken up with her and moved out. Spirit then showed me that she had been too honest with him. “He doesn’t always appreciate it when you tell him the truth,” I said. “Even when he asked you for your honest opinion, he would be offended when you gave it to him.
“Yes,” she replied, “the reason he moved on was that I was too honest and direct for his liking.” Just unbelievable, I thought to myself.
Apparently, many people feel it’s okay to tell a little white lie. This is usually the case when they feel being very honest will possibly hurt the other person’s feelings. In my mind, when you ask for an honest opinion, then you are open to the truth. If not, then don’t ask. When I ask my best friend if a pair of blue jeans makes my butt look big, then I really want to know – the truth!
This is what I love about doing readings. Spirit only gives truthful and honest answers. The recipient of this guidance then knows how their choices will influence the direction or the outcome of a situation.
An Unusual Spirit Visitation From Grandma
I have a very vivid memory from when I was a little girl of my grandma teaching me how to pray the rosary. I didn’t really remember much of the prayer at that age, but as I grew older I made an effort to learn it by heart and do it correctly.
It has since become an essential component of my spiritual practice and has helped me to manifest many miracles in my life. In fact, one of the promises of praying the rosary is to receive miracles.
When grandma died, I made it my goal to properly learn the rosary. I prayed it every night and asked for her to visit me from the other side. I wished for us to communicate while I was awake and fully conscious, instead of in a dream. And that is exactly happened.
Recently, I was thinking of my grandma and I got down on my knees to make another special request for her to come visit me. While I was meditating, a helium balloon I still have as a keepsake from Valentine’s Day 2020, began moving along the ceiling into my general space.
I knew that this had to be grandma’s doing because there weren’t any windows open and there was no draft. The heating was also not turned on or anything like that.
I then said out loud, “Grandma if it is you moving the balloon, is there anything you would like to tell me? Please communicate with me telepathically. Give me a sign, move the balloon towards me. Something, anything!” The heart-shaped balloon almost instantly started to make its way down to me. Lower and lower it came until it was hovering right in front of my face.
Then the balloon started moving towards the door. I stood up and followed it. It went out into the kitchen, then around the corner and into the living room. Then it hovered over my altar. I have an altar where I keep pictures of my ancestors. After grandma passed, I also placed a picture of her on it.
Miracle Moments In Mediumship Readings
Mediums are a mouthpiece for the spirit world, or the ‘telephone’ in the middle. In a mediumship reading spirit may come through with a short, simple greeting or a full hour reading. The medium is merely the messenger and does not control the process. It is a three-way conversation between the client, spirit and the medium.
It is, of course, important for the sitter or client that spirit gives validating information or evidence that the medium could not possibly know or guess. This ‘seals the deal’ so to speak. The best way to receive these validations is to allow spirit to just take the lead and let the miracle unfold. The medium or the client trying to take charge and steer the reading is never a good idea.
Some typical examples of spontaneous evidence may include their birthname or nickname, their dates of birth and passing, how they passed, their personality and physical appearance when they were in this life, their career or business, their favorite hobby or sport, and even a beloved song, a saying they may have used a lot, or a family inside joke.
An unusual reading I will never forget was the time spirit kept showing me a yellow kayak that had rolled over in the water, to indicate his cause of death. Someone dying in a hospital bed is generic, but there is no way anyone could have guessed such an unusual fatal event. That is what I mean by authentic evidence in a reading.
I love it when a client gets that ‘ah ha’ moment, when they know without a shadow of doubt they are talking to a loved one. It is a beautiful miracle for all involved. Most of the time it is also a deeply healing experience.
I recently had a father come through with the unusual nickname he used to call his daughter. She did not ask me at the beginning of the reading what her father used to call her. He just revealed it to me unexpectedly. This is the best way to approach mediumship readings. In my experience, skeptical ‘test questions’ seldom succeed with spirit. In fact, there is usually no response to such ‘tests.’
Talk To Your Pets Using Telepathy
So many beloved pets cross over the ‘rainbow bridge’ leaving their owners with unbearable grief. I’ve found myself consoling several clients over the years, as well as focusing on connecting them with their furry ‘children’ on the other side.Doing these pet psychic readings often remind me of my own pain when my two Rottweilers, sisters Sophie and Jasmin, passed within months of each other.
Unless one has loved and lost a pet yourself, it is hard to understand the awful sense of loss one experiences. It also takes a considerable amount of time to come to terms with the fact that they are no longer in the physical. The grief is at times unbearable, despite the inner knowing that they have gone ‘home’ to spirit, on the other side of the veil.
In hindsight, several days before their death, both Sophie and Jasmin were constantly staring at me, as if they were looking right through me. I recall saying to each of them, “You’re not leaving me yet, surely?” They were eight and a half and nine years old respectively, and both in relatively good health.
But, ‘the look’ was the same my boxer dog, Major, had given me 40 years ago. Only hours after he gave me that intense look, Major’s already deceased mother, Trudy, appeared outside the kitchen window and communicated to me, “I’ve come to take him.” The memory of that communication from Trudy – a particularly sensitive dog – is as vivid as if it happened yesterday.
Animals communicate by sending images, thoughts and feelings using telepathy. We can all master telepathic communication and often do it without even realizing. A course in animal communication made me realize that I’d been using this psychic technique all along.
I started helping people to communicate with their lost pets many years ago. It began when a lady was referred to me by a friend, who had been to me for a psychic reading. She asked if I could help locate her Siamese cat. I had never done this kind of work before, but being an animal lover I was willing to try. I managed to find the cat for her, but she only phoned to confirm this a year later!
Clairvoyance Is Spirit Speaking In Symbols
I divide psychic ability into three categories of experiences, namely clairvoyance or ‘soul-seeing’, clairaudience or ‘soul-hearing’ and clairsentience or ‘soul-sensing’. All three come under the heading of mental mediumship.
There are few psychics that possess all three these abilities and they are indeed fortunate when they are equally able to see, hear and sense the spirit people.
Clairvoyance is the ability to see the faces and forms of the spirit people, and to see names, dates and other information ‘written out’ in the ether, and also to see mental visions and symbols which may be woven into a spirit message. The American Psychological Association (APA) defines it as the ability to see things beyond the normal range of sight, such as distant or hidden objects or events in the past or future.
As one develops clairvoyantly, you usually find that your guides use symbols to mean certain things, sort of like a ‘spiritual shorthand.’ As a rule, these pictures or symbols are just meant for the medium and not to be given out.
The psychic having learned the meaning from the guide is ready to symbolize the picture and give its meaning in her message. For instance, a psychic medium sees a beautiful field of green grass with the sun shining through it. To her it usually symbolizes ‘success’. Instead of giving a long, drawn out description of the scene, she would then simply say, “I see success in regard to your present problem.”
A Missed Call From Heaven
Did you know a deceased loved one can contact you from the other side using a telephone? I know this from firsthand experience. This happened to me twice, 35 years apart.
In 1976, after coming home from church one day, I received a phone call from my grandfather, who had passed away earlier that day. When I answered the phone I had no clue that my grandfather had died. It was a silent phone call from the afterlife to say his goodbyes.
Recently, 35 years later, I have had a repeat experience of this exact same experience. This time it was on my cell phone. I was on the Interstate 70 highway, driving back from Indiana to Ohio. It was an exhausting and stressful journey. On the way, I noticed that my phone showed that I had missed a call. It was kind of weird, because the phone never rang. I did not give it a second thought and rather concentrated on my driving.
When I finally did get to Ohio, I was relieved that the long drive was finally over – until my gas light came on. I really didn’t want to stop at that point in time, but I had no choice. So, I figured I might as well get something to drink.
When I walked in the store to get my drink, I smelled a familiar odor of cigar smoke that I have not smelled since the 70’s. It was the distinctive smell of the cigars that my grandfather used to smoke. And it was very, very strong. It was so intense that I had to stop what I was doing. To be honest, it gave me a cold chill down my back – to such an extent that I even turned around to see who was there. But there was no one else around.
When I got back to my car, I noticed that the battery on my cell phone was blinking. I knew for a fact, when I left the car, that my battery was almost fully charged. I picked up the phone and it showed that I had two missed calls from a person called Perry Anderson. My grandfather’s name was Perry Anderson, but his contact details are not stored on my phone…because he died decades ago in 1976!
