The Subconscious Secrets Of Dream Symbols
Clients sometimes ask me to help them interpret a dream that’s intrigued them, or which has been of great concern to them.
I feel that the best people to interpret dreams are the dreamers themselves, but I will always give my take or feeling on the deeper meaning of the dream, and suggest they take my version on board only if it truly resonates for them.
Our dreams have been a source of fascination since the beginning of time. Many cultures see dreams as life lessons, as a means for our ancestors or loved ones in spirit to connect with, and to communicate with us. Amongst those cultures, much emphasis is placed on dreams as a means of prophecy.
Often these dreams are meant to guide us or to warn us of impending danger, but sometimes they are meant to just to show us that we are indeed loved by those in the spirit world.
Often too, I have found, we can wake up with a sense of peace in our hearts, knowing we’ve communicated things to another soul. This could be something which was perhaps left unsaid at the time of their transition to the other side.
The veil between this world and the next is a thin one, and using our dreams can help us to build a bridge between the worlds.
Although some people tell me they never dream, we all have the ability to dream when we slip into an altered state of consciousness during our sleep cycle. Our dreams are a natural part of life’s rich tapestry, revealing parts of ourselves which we otherwise might fail to see. In opening up to the dream state we can work on healing our deeper fears and issues.
The Mythical Mysteries Of Crows And Ravens
People have been fascinated by crows and ravens for thousands of years. There’s something about their glossy black feathers, their watchful eyes, and the way they seem to understand more than they let on that makes one wonder what they might know that we don’t.
Throughout history and across many cultures, these amazing birds have been seen as more than just animals. They are traditionally seen as messengers, guides, and keepers of spiritual wisdom.
Their stories are all about myth, religion, and folklore, and they give us a pretty interesting look at how different peoples saw the mysterious world around them. Even now, in our modern time of screens and certainty, many still feel a quiet sense of magic when one of these birds crosses their path.
In the ancient Greco-Roman world, birds were a big deal. They were thought to be divine messengers and living signs that connected the heavens and the earth.
The practice of interpreting their movements, known as augury, was very important spiritually and politically. It wasn’t just superstition; it was a big part of religious and community life.
Augurs, the trained soothsayers of ancient Rome, were responsible for “taking the auspices,” or reading the signs that the gods sent through bird behavior. From the way it flies to the sound it makes, every detail could mean something. Out of all the birds we saw, crows and ravens stood out in particular. People thought their appearance held weighty messages, partly because of their dark, striking plumage and partly because these birds seemed unusually intelligent and intentional in their actions.
A Sign From Spirit, Or A Fear-Based Superstition?
My father and his extended family were very superstitious. For instance, they would never buy a car on a Friday, refused to talk about new shoes in the morning, and never left a house through the back door after entering through the front. I could go on.
These old-world beliefs were ingrained in their way of life and passed down from generation to generation like heirlooms of caution and misery. However, I never experienced any objective evidence that these beliefs were valid — until I had my own unique experience that I at first believed might have been a bad omen.
It was 1983, and I had been hoping to get a job with the local council for quite some time. Then, one day, out of the blue, I landed a contract with them! I was overjoyed. The salary was fantastic and I felt incredibly fortunate, because many people in the UK were unemployed and struggling with a recession.
That weekend, I decided to celebrate by buying a large bottle of very expensive wine. However, as I left the liquor store, the bottle slipped through my fingers and shattered on the ground.
“Oh dear,” I said to my late sister. “I hope that doesn’t mean my dreams will shatter like that! Maybe this is a sign from the universe that my new job will have a bad outcome?”
My dear sister, ever the voice of reason, assured me that it was simply an accident and not a bad omen. Still, coming from a superstitious family, I carried that thought and fear with me into the job.
In the beginning, things went relatively well. But soon, my colleagues turned out to be cruel and nasty, the boss’s secretary was a bully, my boyfriend dumped me, and my father, due to his narcissistic tendencies, kept asking whether I was truly “capable of doing the job.”

Decoding The Mysteries Of Your Dreams
One thing we all have in common is our dreams. Even if we don’t remember them, we all dream every night.
Our dreams take us to strange, surreal landscapes and scenarios — unusual places and odd situations that don’t follow the rules of the waking world. That’s because dreams don’t speak in logic or reason. They communicate through symbols, metaphors, and abstractions.
For centuries, people have sought to decipher the mysteries of dreams, from the dream interpretations recorded on ancient Egyptian papyrus scrolls to the psychoanalytical theories of Carl Jung. Jung believed that dreams speak through archetypes — universal symbols woven into the fabric of our collective unconscious.
Just as no two people are exactly alike, no two dreams are alike. Certain symbols — such as water for emotion or flying for freedom-appear across cultures, but their meaning is personal, shaped by our experiences, beliefs, and emotions.
Some dreams uplift us, while others leave us puzzled or even shaken. But what do they really mean?
Psychologists see dreams as a bridge between the conscious and subconscious mind, a way to process emotions, work through inner conflicts, and make sense of life. But beyond their psychological role, dreams also have a deeper, more mystical significance — one that is often overlooked.
The Spiritual Significance Of 777
The number seven is a powerful sign when it appears in your life. Traditionally considered a lucky number, seven carries energies that can help expand various aspects of your life, allowing you to manifest greater results.
But seven is about much more than manifestation. It is a deeply spiritual number that often aligns with pivotal moments of deep understanding and transformation. When it appears repeatedly, it signals alignment with your divine purpose — a confirmation from Spirit that you are on the right path and an encouragement to continue your inner work.
The presence of the seven often marks periods of profound spiritual growth, offering insights into your role in the world and how you choose to show up for others.
You may notice a sense of effortless flow, as if guided by an unseen force. This occurs because your awareness of what serves your highest good — and the greater good — has expanded. Your intuition is sharpened, giving you access to universal insights and enabling you to act with greater compassion and wisdom.
Seven is closely associated with the expansion of consciousness. Its repeated appearance in your life may inspire you to explore spiritual matters more deeply, seeking wisdom in philosophy, metaphysics, and esoteric traditions.
This number encourages introspection and self-discovery, inviting you to reflect on your journey and embrace the deeper truths of the universe. Those who frequently encounter the number seven may also experience an increased connection to higher realms, noticing synchronicities, heightened intuition, and a greater awareness of unseen spiritual forces.
The Spiritual Significance Of 666
The number 666 is undoubtedly the most controversial and misinterpreted number in spirituality.

By delving into the true symbolism of this number sequence, we can uncover the profound messages and transformative potential it holds. Far from being a mere harbinger of evil and doom, 666 challenges us to integrate spiritual awareness and higher consciousness into our everyday lives, illuminating a path toward harmony, wisdom and enlightenment.
