When I was very young, I remember being in our living room around Halloween time. It was very, very late in the evening and I can’t remember what compelled me to go over to the window. I remember the drapes were closed and I remember pushing it to one side and just looking out. I saw something that night I would never forget.

It looked like a very old women with white hair. She was holding something in the front yard, which looked like a glowing stone of some kind. She just stood there and it was very, very late. This seemed very strange to me. I remember feeling not scared, just very comforted and interested to at the same time. I remember her turning around, almost as if she saw me, but she just bent down and put this glowing rock or something on the grass and then began to walk away. A psychic channel is a person who acts as a bridge between this physical world and the spiritual realm.

There are two types of channeling. The first is consciousness channeling, which is a process of awareness in which you are receiving information from a higher source – by connecting directly with your spirit guilds or angels, or by accessing information from your higher self. The higher self is the spiritual aspect of your being that contains all knowledge.

The information that you channel in this type of channeling is accessed through your psychic senses of clairvoyance (seeing), clairsentience (feeling) and clairaudience (hearing). The channel therefore receives the information in the form of thoughts and psychic visions, or it can come though feelings and sensations, or by hearing the voices of angles and spirit guides. I read for a lady yesterday, whose little dog had passed to spirit. I could see her dog and described him to her. I also felt I had to emphasize that this little dog was using his back legs, as if spirit was specifically drawing my attention to that detail.

It turned out the little dog had suffered a stroke and no longer had the use of his back legs when he passed to spirit. But in my vision he was jumping around and standing on his back legs, getting loads of love and attention, and basically showing off that he could use his legs once again.

I could feel this lady’s pain and the excitement of the dog to be making contact with his owner from the other side, but I felt so sad that she had no knowledge of what happens when an animal or human crosses over to the other side. Sometimes mediums just give out the details of their clairvoyant visions, without realizing the significance to the recipient. Read the rest of this entry »

My grandmother was my first valuable teacher with regards metaphysical beliefs and all things spiritual. She taught me, for example, to read the Bible literally and not bend the truths in the scripture, like some religious groups tend to do.

My family, including my grandmother, is German and I grew up and lived there until 1995. During the war, my grandmother lived in the Eastern part of Germany, which was later occupied by the Russians. Much later, after the war had ended and just before the wall between the two parts was closed for good, she fled over the border to West Germany.

On the other side of the border she took care of herself as best she could, like the rest of the battered and displaced population, while patiently waiting for the return of her husband and young son. They were both soldiers, as most of the men were in those days. Mother always told me that my granny must have been very brave and patient, because she had had no news from either one of them for years. Most people who are familiar with Reiki know that it is a popular form of energy healing. This complementary therapy and spiritual practice was originally developed by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui about a century ago. It has since been adapted by various teachers of varying traditions.

The Japanese word reiki compounds the words rei, meaning spirit, miraculous or divine, and ki, meaning gas, vital energy, breath of life, or consciousness.

Reiki assists the body with healing itself by directing the natural energy flow of the body, and its energy field, to the places where it needs a higher charge of positive energy. I have learned through spirit communication that each individual on earth is guided by someone in the spirit world even though they may not be conscious of the fact.  Many go through life receiving spirit help, but are absolutely unconscious of that guidance.

Various names are applied to these spirit helpers, such as Guardian Angels, Teachers, Guides or Ascended Masters. Regardless of the title given to them, they are all spirit helpers.

Our spirit helpers come into our lives through the Law of Attraction. Something in our character, ability or aspiration that corresponds with that of the spirit helper attracts them to us. For example, it is not logical to believe that the famous Greek philosopher Socrates will choose as his human instrument here on earth someone who knows nothing of philosophy. Most of the time I just feel like a regular ‘Joe Smo’, and then there is this every once in a while when I really have to bow my head in prayer and gratitude for the gifts that he has bestowed upon me.

I am always appreciative at how highly accurate the messages come to me and it so easy, on my end, because I just open up my mouth and spirit uses my vocal cords. I don’t ever have the thought come in first, giving me time to analyze it, thank goodness. That would not work for me, as there would be all these pauses in my clients readings and I do not want the responsibility of misinterpreting.

With Matty there was no chance of that, because he was an 8-year-old boy who had suffered severe head trauma, and extensive brain damage from an automobile accident. His mother had fallen asleep at the wheel while driving. Read the rest of this entry »
