Working as a psychic reader for so many years, I have learned a lot about the human condition. I have learned, for example, that all of us essentially want the same things in life. We all want to be loved and accepted, appreciated for our talents and gifts, and we all need a sense of belonging, and to feel secure, safe, and happy.
These are fundamental needs and a natural part of being human. How we satisfy these basic needs, and how we decide what brings us happiness, is where we differ as individuals. It matters not how our preferences differ, but instead that we can find ways to fulfill these needs, while maintaining our soul growth and purpose.
One person may be happy in the type of relationship that affords her the independence to travel with her girlfriends and to have time and space for herself, her hobbies and interests, and her spiritual practice. Another may prefer a partner to spend most of his free time with her, shares the same interests, and showers her with constant attention and gifts.
Over the years, I have witnessed how certain clients more easily achieve the type of relationship they want, while others struggle with one unhealthy relationship after the other. The same goes for career opportunities, business ventures, and finances too.
We all have areas in life where we need to open up, expand our awareness, and grow as a soul. I’ve found that my job as a psychic reader is not only to tell my client all I see around them, but to also help them grow spiritually. My job is to help my clients achieve their personal and spiritual goals in all aspects of their life.
This becomes challenging when someone tells me they do not care about their personal and spiritual growth, or how they can achieve more of what they want. Instead, they only want what they want right now, and are unwilling to look at the bigger picture of what can be done to increase the likelihood of reaching their goal. This is often the reason why some become stuck in dead-end, toxic relationships, for example.

Mysterious, symbolic and highly energetic, the Tarot is a high vibrational tool that can help us explore the deeper meaning behind the events of our daily lives, and the influence of Spirit in our earthly existence. The Tarot especially offers guidance in situations where may feel lost or confused, and it serves as a mystical bridge between our physical reality and the metaphysical realm. The cards have their own energy, a high vibrational frequency, which Spirit uses to communicate messages of guidance, encouragement, insight and caution.
Every Tarot reader has their own set of spiritual gifts and psychic abilities, and therefore we tend to each develop our own reading style accordingly. In my own readings, I find that Spirit most often seeks to illuminate areas in our lives where changes and healing may be needed, in order to bring about the most beneficial future outcomes. This can be anything from the need to shift one’s perspective, to the need to let go, or sometimes the need to simply accept things as they are.
Ultimately, I find Spirit uses the Tarot to get us ‘unstuck,’ so we get back in the flow. When we are in the flow, or in alignment, we are creating with the Universe, instead of creating resistance. Only then are we truly moving toward our highest good and the fulfillment of our greatest potential.

From the physical ‘self’ perspective of the human ego, we often cannot see situations for what they really are. But our higher self understands the deeper meaning and purpose, and wants to lovingly guide us to a more joyful, peaceful and fulfilling existence.
Sometimes we can be very resistant when unwanted events shake up our lives. Typically, when difficulties arise, we get swept up in the drama of the situation, and allow ourselves to act from this highly-charged emotional state. In such times of trial, we can use the Tarot to take a step back and look at the situation from a wider lens, and receive guidance on the matter directly from Spirit.

When I connect with the souls of deceased pets, I find they are often very eager to let their humans know that they are doing perfectly fine, since their transition to spirit. This is especially true in cases where euthanasia was the last resort.
Pet owners tend to second-guess having to make such a decision, and they often hold on to a lot of guilt. We humans tend to over-think these matters. Was it the right thing to do?
I have also had instances where a pet left this world due to some random accident for which the owner feels responsible, even when they know on a rational level that they were powerless to have prevented the incident.
In mediumship readings the animals are always insistent in letting their beloved humans know that they are now in a good place, and doing well. They often also relay how, upon their arrival, they had been greeted or welcomed to the other side by the human’s departed loved ones and other pets.
Our animal friends will sometimes also come through with humorous evidence to validate that it is indeed them. For example, just last week a client contacted me about her beloved dog Hagrid, who had passed just four days prior. Mu schedule at the time did not allow me to read for her for a couple of days, but boy was Hagrid insistent that I give her some reassurance in the interim! He kept coming into my mind, no matter what I was busy with, and until I had delivered each message, he wasn’t going to let up.
For example, he kept showing me a bird bath, while telling me that it needs a much deeper cleaning. At first, I felt uneasy contacting my client with such an odd, frivolous message. She was already in so much grief, I certainly didn’t want to bother her with something that seemed so silly and irrelevant. For all I knew, she might live in an apartment and not even have a garden, let alone own a bird bath!

I have found from many years of doing psychic readings an interesting commonality that ties all types of readings together. Whether someone is struggling with relationship problems, work and money issues, health challenges, or other difficult situations, once I get the answers to help resolve a current issue, there is always a deeper, spiritual message that is being offered to my clients.
