I am sometimes asked during readings to explain what Reiki is and how it is used. Reiki is basically a Japanese form of healing using your hands to manipulate energy and remove blockages in energy flow. Reiki offer many health benefits, including stress reduction, relaxation and wellness.
Reiki reduces the tension that is caused by stress, and this can help to lower blood pressure and improve sleeping habits. It will also make you think more clearly, so better judgment is used in everyday life. Reiki promotes wholeness of your body, mind and spirit. Reiki is also a extremely good way to release toxins and help the body to be cleansed. Reiki also promotes spiritual development and emotional growth. Read the rest of this entry »
I use stones to change the mood in a room, to enhance a spell, to retain information, to direct energy, to shift patterns. The ways to use stones are as many as there are stones. You can use just one, or a combination to get just the right results. You can put them on a charm bracelet, in a bowl, on the coffee table. One time I wire-wrapped 30 of them and hung them from a foot high Yule tree in my tiny studio apartment.
While I was learning how to use stones I hit a tough time in my life. One night I decided to go out with some friends, and on my way out I grabbed a stone from the table. I didn’t know why, I didn’t ask. I just took one.
During the evening I felt what I can only describe now as a ‘shift in balance’. When I got home I was listening to my answering machine and got to a message from someone I had just disconnected from. When I counted back the time, I realized he made that call when I felt the shift, and the stone I grabbed was a star ruby, which is useful in psychic protection! Read the rest of this entry »
Citrine, meaning “Lemon” in French, is a quartz crystal. Natural Citrine is pale yellow, to golden, to orange-brown, and often referred to as the “Merchant Stone”. Citrine is associated with the Sun, success and abundance. I call it my “prosperity enhancing aid”.
Citrine can be found in Brazil, Argentina, Burma, Madagascar, Scotland, Spain, Russia and Namibia, and long ago amongst certain cultures, Citrine was carried for protection against evil thoughts, and even snake venom.
You can wear Citrine as jewelry, to assist with psychic awareness and psychic protection. This quartz is also said to expand our spirit of generosity. Citrine, along with Topaz is a birthstone for those born November month. Read the rest of this entry »
I am sure you have heard before that you should follow your intuition when choosing crystals. Always go for the stones that stand out from the crowd. This could be the crystal that sparkles and shines the most for you, shouts and waves at you, or virtually leaps off the shelf at you.
Buy the crystals and stones that really catch your eye, because those crystals share a kindred energy with you. They will help you in unexpected and amazing ways. And this is absolutely true!
But, what about the crystals you don’t like? What about the crystals that really turn you off? These special stones are the ones that you really need to take a second look at. These are the ones that will truly help you on the deepest level. Read the rest of this entry »
I decided to write a blog about psychic protection, because so many clients ask how to best shield themselves from negative influences. When I speak with people about psychic protection, I usually find that they generally either don’t understand its importance, or they need to better understand how we come under the influence of negative forces.
You may remember from my recent blog, entitled You Actually Have Two Bodies, that we each have an astral body that resides on the astral plane, which is located above the physical plane on which our physical bodies function. The two bodies interact with each other through electromagnetism – the positive and masculine energy of the Sun and the negative more receptive or feminine energy of the Moon.
The astral body is really the ‘soul’. It contains the sum total of a person’s experiences as well as the manner in which they have assimilated these experiences. Psychologists often refer to the ‘unconscious mind’. This is, in effect, the astral mind, which we can access through visualization, meditation, and hypnosis. Read the rest of this entry »
As a Reiki practitioner I find that using crystals is very beneficial both to me and my clients. There are seven main crystals that I use both to heal my clients and for my own benefit as well.
One of the crystals I use is merkabite. It is better known as ‘white calcite’. White calcite is an astonishing energizing stone especially when held up to the third eye.
Merkabite activates and cleanses the energetic field by removing blockages within the energy body, especially in upper chakras. It opens, aligns and stimulates these chakras to expand our higher dimensional consciousness. It improves the flow of energy and raises one vibrational frequency. Read the rest of this entry »
I admit to sometimes wondering if there is a niche in my business for what I do – as I would vehemently contest that I am not a psychic. To me this title conveys a few meanings and stereotypes – and I do not fit any of them. I am of no particular culture with a mixed heritage. I do not believe in Crystal work (and in fact do not agree with their use as they are an environmental heritage and not an essential tool. One Crystal can take a few million years to grow). I do not believe in sorcery or witchcraft. I do not believe in controlling people or being controlled by people and magic. I do not have to use any tools, except when clients wish for predictions. I do not advertise making predictions as I am not comfortable with taking a person’s power away or giving it to them. I do not wish to ‘mess with karma or decision making’. Strictly speaking, in theory – as we are all telepaths – am I as a trained empathy or telepath, any more ‘psychic’ or just more experienced? I do have dreams that are prophetic – but I study my clients’ dreams and they can be too. Read the rest of this entry »
As a Reiki practitioner I find that using crystals is very beneficial both to me and my clients. There are seven main crystals and stones that I use both to heal my clients and for my own benefit as well.
One of the crystals I use is red calcite. Red calcite is known as the stone of ‘gentle vitality’. It is a detoxifying stone that opens and energizes the root Chakra, as well as links to the crown and upper Etheric Chakras for maximum benefit. Red calcite is associated with the base chakra because it is the root of all physicality.
Red calcite truly bridges the gap between our physical and spiritual existence. Red calcite calls forth our “life force energy.” It stabilizes our inner strength and willpower and can aid us with problem-solving. Read the rest of this entry »
