How To Attract True Love Into Your Life
Have you ever felt so good that not even the most negative person you encounter can ruin your day? That is the type of energy you need to envelope yourself in to be a magnet for attracting love and all that is positive into your life.
I have known some very sad individuals, who constantly get nowhere in life because they seem to be perpetually negative and assuming the worst. Whatever they look at or hear, they always put a negative spin on it – whatever it may be.
These negative people are to me a type of ‘energy vampire.’ They try to bring you down to their level so that they can feel better. If you are protected, however, you can remain in balance and alignment spiritually and emotionally. You can empower yourself on all levels, so that you essentially have an invisible, but very powerful shield of protection around you. This way you can deflect their negative energy. It goes right back to the sender, or the one who is trying to drop their ‘poison’ on you. It renders harmless their ‘psychic attack’ by way of their pessimistic words, harmful thoughts and negative energy. Continue reading
Breaking The Painful Ties That Bind Us
With any kind of relationship, romantic or platonic, good or bad, comes a metaphysical cord of attachment which feeds energy from one person to another, in what can be likened to surgical tubing.
When we’ve had relationships with people, these cords extend from our chakras or energy centers to those of the other person. So, you can imagine the amount of emotions we can take on from someone else – more often than not ‘fear-based’ emotions. That fear can show itself as fear of abandonment, unforgiveness, co-dependency, or any other negative emotion.
Years ago, I remember reading a newspaper article shortly after the son of Dean Martin had been killed in an air crash. The famous singer said it felt like his heart was being ripped out – so real are these cords that bind us. Psychic Self-Defense
It is very important to always be aware of the energies swirling all around us. There are psychic vampires out there; there are people who will suck your energy dry if they can. Those of us that have learned to be open, and tune in to what others are feeling and thinking, can easily become victims of psychic attack.
It’s so important to practice psychic self-defense. One way to do this is to ask for your spiritual strength and psychic abilities to be deepened, so that the negative energy of others doesn’t hurt your mind, body and spirit.
I further believe that there are angels around us, protecting us from people that mean us harm, or people who gossip about us and talk behind our backs. I like to envision the white light of God’s protection around me. Continue reading
Why We Feel Drained
People who are ‘old souls’ or, if you prefer, ‘highly enlightened beings’, become drained very quickly when around others of lower energetic vibrations. Why does this happen, a dear client of mine asked me recently. I meditated on this and asked God, the Source of all Love and Light, and what came to me was the following.
We become drained, because when our heart is open and we are connected to the Divine we unfortunately encounter souls who have not progressed enough, so there is negative inside of them, which causes the sensitive or empathic person to become drained very quickly.
These negative souls are also known to us humans here on Earth as energy vampires. These people drain our energy, because they do not know how to silence the mind and recharge their own batteries without someone else’s help. So, with their negative emotions they can get to us. Continue reading
You Need Some Pop-up Preparedness
Life happens, therefore pop-ups happen to. What is a ‘pop up’? Well, a pop-up is something unforeseen that occurs to put a snare or trip you up in a negative way. It is a term I have invented for lack of a better one. I feel it’s a gentler way of describing those negative things that tend to pop-up during the course of our life that set us back in some way.
A family may have planned a very special time together, for example, and they had looked forward to it and patiently awaited that very enjoyable event. Then the phone rings and one of the parents has to go and tend to a new priority, and the child is left wondering what happened.
Well, what do we do in today’s world, where we live by the cell phones and social networking websites, and our friends’ and other people’s needs and desires, while putting those that we are supposed to treasure the most and love the most on the ‘back burner’. In the process our most intimate relationships suffer. Some of us just don’t know how to say no to those pop-ups! Continue reading
Ol’ Boogeyman Still Comin’ To Getcha?
In my line of work there is often an unhealthy obsession with the concept of evil. It appears we are simply not able to rid ourselves of this ‘thing’ we seem to have for the boogeyman (here in my country known as the tokoloshe).
Just the other day I was listening to a radio psychic scaring the living daylights out of his unsuspecting caller. She just wanted some career advice, but instead he was hell-bent on convincing her that her home was infested with evil entities. His charming co-host also jumped in to offer some old-wives’ cures for getting rid of all the demonic forces. Truth be told, the only disturbance I was picking up on was the fact that the poor, freaked out woman would not be getting much sleep for weeks!
Now, don’t get me wrong. The struggle between good and evil is very, very real. It is a fundamental component of the human condition. It is also the basis of all Creation. It stems from the duality found in every important aspect of our expanding Universe: dark versus light, life versus death, night versus day.
