Overcoming Feeling Rejected
When a customer asks for a reading about future love prospects, they will often ask how they could possibly meet this person. “How can this possibly happen”, they ask, when they really don’t go anywhere, not to mention that their internet dating attempts have been futile.
I don’t feel that there are coincidences in the way in which people meet. Our frequencies attract to us the ‘other’ who will bring us our next life lesson. At least this is my overall feeling.
This force of nature holds a magnetism unlike any other feeling, and it can throw any logical perception of another person (who is the attention of our desires) right out of the window. Letting Go Allows Miracles To Happen
We tend to hold onto things and people which no longer serve us. Fear keeps us attached, as well as that comfortable feeling of the familiar.
Some people hang onto other people for dear life, even though they treated them badly, because they do not feel they are good enough for anyone else. Some people hang onto material things, because to let it go would diminish their self-worth or comfort zone by some means.
This was a hard lesson that I had to learn and overcome myself. Three years ago, I had my father’s house up for sale. It had been on the market for over a year and did not even attract one offer. Later, I realized that this had happened because I was not ready to let it go at the time. Cats are often depicted in ancient Egyptian art and artifacts. The Egyptians actually worshiped cats as gods, and believed that they took on a spiritual importance. They were considered to be a sacred animals with magical powers.
Ancient Egypt was said to be one of the most advanced civilizations in human history, capable of architecture, that by today’s standards would be difficult, if not impossible to construct. But, did they also possess otherworldly knowledge that has been forgotten?
Some myths and folklore also claim that cats can walk in and out of the spirit world with great ease and at will. Healing With Music And Sound
“Music hath charms to soothe the savage breast, to soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak,” wrote William Congreve in his classic poem, The Mourning Bride. He seems to have understood that music can soothe anyone who might be be stressed out, overwhelmed, anxious or depressed.
Studies indicate that music and sound heal us in a multitude of way, perhaps even at the cellular level. Long-term patients, nursing home residents, and chronically depressed people have been found to experience healing through sound.
Ancient cultures from Egypt to Japan to Australia used the secrets of healing sound. What these long-ago people instinctively knew, we now attribute to the effect of certain wavelengths upon our brains to calm, relax, and heal. When He Disappears Into His Cave
He tells you that he loves you, always wants to be with you, and can’t seem to get enough of you. He calls and texts you all the time, and you’re feeling this is it… the perfect relationship! You love the way he makes you feel. He must be ‘the one.’ Then all of a sudden he’s gone…
He is not contacting you anymore. No calls, no texts, no dates, no nothing. What happened? Where did he go? Well he went into his ‘cave.’ That is where men go when they realize they have moved to fast, or when they feel that they are getting too attached.
Men retreat into their cave to take a break and think about what comes next. They will stay in there until they find solutions. The timing always varies for each individual guy. Continue reading
Happiness Is Here And Now
Too often I hear the lament, “When will I be happy?” The answer is simple – right now!
Our mind is our own worst enemy but it can also be our best friend, if we let it. Understanding simple concepts of universal truths can go a long way towards our mind knowing these truths and accepting them as fact into our world.
One of the biggest universal lies is that happiness is a permanent state of being or, worse yet, that everything has to be perfect for you to be happy. That’s a lie.
