The Universal Language Of The Other Side
I have come across varying opinions, and even read a couple of books, claiming that a certain ‘language is spoken’ on the Other Side. But I have had a very different experience doing mediumship readings. In my experience there is no actual ‘language’ that is used for communication in the spirit realm. Instead, I experience it as what is best described as telepathic knowing.
In my work with spirit I have not personally encountered any sign of spoken language. In the spirit realm there is no attachment to language, dialect, culture, ethnicity, or nationality. Those aspects of human identity are an earthly concept.
On the Other Side, we communicate telepathically and empathically through pure consciousness, which in human terms translates to feelings, thoughts, sensory perceptions and mental imagery.
The souls we communicate with can read our mind. They know, for example, if you love music. So, they will communicate with you in songs, knowing it will reach your awareness more easily.
Often, in medium readings, I will smell a certain smell like, roses, pumpkin pie, and so on. The soul I am communicating with knows I am a vegetarian, so they always polite have me smell food that would not be offensive to me.
I smelled lemon once, and was shown lemonade. My client told me her grandmother was known for her lemon orchard and the lemonade she used to make. It was a special memory from her childhood.
Yesterday, Today And Tomorrow
A loyal client recently asked me to send her one of the guided meditations in my collection. I have collected many over the years, and she experienced several of them in a meditation class I used to offer. She said she was planning to start a small meditation group of her own, and would be happy with whichever meditation I chose to share with her.
I sincerely wished to help her, and therefore wanted to choose carefully. So, on my walk this morning, along a path lined with olive trees, I asked my guides for a sign or symbol of what script would best help her get going with her guided meditation venture.
Well, Spirit never ceases to surprise me. The ‘sign’ was almost instant, and prominent. Out of nowhere, I suddenly smelled the exquisite scent of the ‘Yesterday Today and Tomorrow’ plant (Brunfelsia). I immediately knew exactly which meditation to send my client.
Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow Meditation
Sit in a comfortable chair and close your eyes. With your eyelids closed, glance upwards for a few moments, directing your eyes towards the heavens. This is helpful in relaxing your eyes and also symbolic in connecting with Spirit.
Now, take several deep breaths and, as you do so, relax your head in a downward position. Allow your eyeballs to relax downwards too, whilst still keeping your eyelids gently closed.
Death Is Never Final
Most of us have lost someone dear to us, whether it be a grandparent, parent, child, friend or co-worker. And when this happens, many of us wonder why, and what happens next? Know this: death is never final.
Death is simply the spiritual essence leaving the physical body. Each one of us is born with this spiritual nature, our soul energy or spiritual essence. We are given a physical body to carry us through this journey on Earth, and throughout this life journey our physical bodies change. However, our spiritual essence remains constant from before our birth, and carries us forward to many other realms and new incarnations, beyond the physical death at the end of this lifetime.
My clients are often concerned about their departed loved ones. Is my mother in pain? Is my family okay? Is my child still suffering? Is my husband safe? Is my friend stuck in between worlds because she took her own life?
The simple answer to all these questions is: yes. When we pass, our physical body is no longer needed and our spirit simply returns to the Highest, or Heaven, or Universal Love, or Source. There is no ‘hell’ or ‘bad place’ after this life. It is all good for all of us. It is a place of peace and simplicity. A plane of existence or realm of the utmost, purest, highest state of unconditional love.
When we lose someone close to us, the essence of their spirit returns to us at different times after their passing. You may see, hear, sense, or even smell them, and sometimes even feel them touch you. All these experiences are real. If you feel them around you, they are there. If you feel a feather like touch on your cheek, they are there. If a scent reminds you of someone, they are there. If you swear someone just sat on your bed, but no one is in your room, they are there.
Developing Your Spirit Communication Skills
Spirit communication is the process of sending and receiving information to and from the spirit realm. This process can sometimes be overwhelming for individuals. The spirit realm and nature sends us inspiration, messages, comfort and guidance. In every moment of every day we receive information. Are we deciphering that information correctly? Are we also clear in our requests to Spirit?
There are many ways spirit communicates with us. For example, a synchronistic song playing on the radio, which we associate with a loved one in Spirit; unusual behaviors, or unexpected appearances of animals, birds or insects; seeing so-called ‘angel numbers’ or synchronistic clock times like 11:11 or 12:12; Ouija board messages, as well as Tarot and oracle card signs; pendulum dowsing; and dreams.
Then there are messages relayed by intuitives, psychics and mediums during professional readings, using the clair senses, channeling, divination and mediumship. These modes of communication can be natural for some, but also a developed skill for others.
Were you a child that had imaginary friends or saw relatives who were dead? If so, then you have the innate capability pre-developed, but you may need to enhance and strengthen your communication ability. Aromatherapy Divination
Our sense of smell is most closely related to parts of the brain that play a major role in controlling mood, memory, behavior, and emotion. In a spiritual sense, smells can trigger memories of people, places, and past events. There’s even a type of psychic ability in mediumship when communicating with deceased loved ones, known as clairolfaction or clairalience.
Clairolfaction is when we smell something that reminds us of someone we used to know who is now on the Other Side. This smell is distinct and comes out of nowhere. When a deceased loved one pays a visit to someone in the living and makes their presence known through smell, it could come through as a perfume they used to wear, or the smell of cigarette smoke, flowers, foods, or just about anything unique to that person.
Clearing Toxic Energy From Your Home
When I read for a client, I am not just reading their energy, but I am also reading the energy of their loved ones, co-workers, friends, their home environment, as well as their work environment and community. During a psychic reading in can become evident, for example, that the home environment is toxic, stagnant, or energetically polluted, which has a negative effect on my client.
This pollution is not always metaphysical in origin. Sometimes it is caused by a physical contaminant. For example, it can be a mildew issue, which will make me smell mold and sense moisture, like a smothering humid feeling, or see black mildew spots on a psychic level.
