Spirituality and religion are often clumped together into the same category. They are certainly similar in nature. For example, a spiritual person can be religious and their religion can intensify their spirituality, but that is not to say religion is the source of spiritual growth.

A Year Of Endings And Goodbyes
This year, so far, has been a difficult time for many, not only for my clients, but for myself, as well. The static on the planet continues to increase. Actually, I first noticed the dramatic increase during the first week of June 2015, but today I want to focus on the year 2016.
In recent weeks, I felt the past resurfacing and washing over me like a surfer wave. For one thing, we are in a nine year in numerology, which denotes a year of goodbyes, endings, deaths and ultimately rebirth.
If you experience the past washing over you, as well, whether in the form of reliving past experiences, saying goodbye to some part of yourself that you no longer need, or letting an actual person from your past go, the point is to think about what these intense episodes are teaching you. Each and every night, as we go into a sleep state, and every single time we are in a meditative state, lucid or otherwise, we are actually on the Other Side. The power of the mind does not exist only on this earthly plane. We are in realty multidimensional and once we get a grasp on how all this works it can be exciting. We can also learn how to maneuver this phenomenon to greatly enhance any aspect of our existence.
Did you ever take the wrong set of stairs, or got off on the wrong floor? Becoming aware of the Other Side is like going into a gigantic building for the first time. How daunting is that! Although you might know which office you are heading for, you may not know exactly which direction to take. There may be a list of office number on the board, showing exactly who or what is on each floor. Even the most casual observer knows that the Moon continually changes shape in the sky. This is because its regular orbit of approximately 28 days puts it at different points relative to the Earth and the Sun, making it go through phases.
So why should we care about this? Well, as the nearest celestial object to Earth, the Moon has a special place in Astrology, as well as the psychic realm itself. Our planet, as well as our bodies, consist of over two-thirds water, and therefore the Moon’s gravitational force affects us in different ways at different points in its orbit.
It’s worth noting here that the word lunatic comes from Luna, the Latin for “Moon.” But the Moon doesn’t make us insane, as some ancient stories would have us believe. I Am Love – The Power Of Creating Your Life
As an intuitive, I do my best to gauge how things are unfolding in a given situation. I gain insight from Spirit about how things are unfolding, based on the momentum of a situation. That being said, I do not believe that we are fated into anything in this life, nor is our future static. I do my best to stay away from ‘fortune telling’ language, because it often takes away from the innate power of our own actions.
Every focused intention is a cause that will lead us to an effect. So, the best we can do in our lives is to ascertain what type of action creates an ideal circumstance. In my experience loving causes as a rule create the ideal circumstances and open up the highest path for the individual.
In the esoteric Christian tradition it is stated that, “God is Love.” So, to align with the will of Love is in essence aligning with the Creative Force of the Universe. It is certainly true that there is a higher effect when we are able to align with the will of Love. The challenging part is to ascertain Love’s will. Continue reading
The True Meaning Of Bliss
I have been contemplating how often a friend’s photo on social media, a call from a customer, an advertisement, the written word, or an overheard phrase has triggered a really significant memory for me. This was the case again last night, when the word “bliss” featured in a commercial for chocolate on my TV screen. For some reason this prompted a memory from many years ago.
I was working temporarily in a retirement home as a caregiver. Although I didn’t have long-term plans to remain in that job, I loved working with the old people, and used to give them reflexology treatments and healing massages in my free time. The short treatments gave them great relief, and they began asking if I would come back and help them again.
This caused a lot of animosity with the rest of the staff, who were already unfriendly towards me. They made it clear that I was not ‘one of them’. I was the outsider, and not from ‘their village.’ The home’s matron asked me to stop doing any healing or therapeutic work with the residents, because it was not in my job description. Mass Death A Form Of Group Karma?
I was recently asked if there is a difference in the process of transition to the spirit world when many people die simultaneously, compared to when they transition individually? Is the death process different when there is a mass loss of life?
This question may have been prompted by the increased awareness we have these days on social media of natural disasters, as well as other large scale tragedies caused by wars, plane crashes or acts of terrorism.
