Spirit Is Always With You
How do you connect with your inner guidance? You soul essence? Ponder this question for a moment. Then shut your eyes, breathe deeply three times… and ponder this question again.
Spirit is always present within you. It does not take a time out to go get a coffee, or have a nap. Spirit simply is a part of you that never dies.
When you close your eyes and simply breathe, you will feel lighter. That is spirit trying to be more prominent than the ego.
Spirit never causes stress, discomfort, unease or negativity. Spirit is pure 100% unconditional love, and every person has this inside of them.
However, as you move forward in life, ego will always try to override spirit, whether in decision-making or choices that are important (or simple).
Ego can create discomfort, doubt, fear and the wrong type of attitude to live a spirit-filled, love-filled life.
How do you change these patterns? At least once a day, simply sit, breathe slowly, eyes closed, hands on lap. No parts of your body should be crossed, i.e. legs, arms or hands.
Now feel the essence of your true spirit flowing in your body and around your soul. Feel the essence of goodness that comes to you from this energy. Spirit will never make you feel down or negative. It will always be uplifting or at least instill a sense of calm or peace inside of you…even if only for the moment.
Clutter Bust Your Home To Liberate Your Soul
Choosing what you allow and keep in your life gives you a sense of having control of your happiness and your future.
If you are hoarder, or living a cluttered existence with too many material possessions, know that it is limiting your spiritual growth and personal fulfillment.
The path to enlightenment is not paved with stuff… and more stuff. Maybe it’s time to rid yourself of those things that no longer serve a purpose in your life?
Clutter is rarely just a collection of objects; it is often seen as a physical manifestation of delayed decisions, stagnant energy, or an attachment to the past.
Many spiritual traditions believe that our outer environment is a reflection of our inner state. Buddhism teaches that self and environment are one; in Taoism energy flow affects internal peace; in Hermeticism the small (home) reflects the large (soul); and in Hinduism physical space is a living extension of the self.
In Japanese aesthetics and philosophy, the concept of Ma refers to the pure, essential beauty of empty space. By decluttering, one creates the literal and figurative room for new experiences and thoughts to emerge.
Central tomany wisdom teachings is the idea that suffering stems from attachment. By intentionally removing objects that no longer serve a purpose, we practice the spiritual discipline of “letting go,” acknowledging that our identity is independent of material possessions.
Making Space For New Blessings To Arrive
At the beginning of a new year many people feel pressured to set big new goals, make major decisions, and “get it right” immediately.
But for the spiritually aware person, the real work of new beginnings starts somewhere simpler and quieter. It starts with clearing. It means releasing what no longer serve you, so there’s room for what’s next.
Over time, we all accumulate energy that is no longer ours to keep: old emotions, outdated beliefs, and stale patterns that once were protective but now just feel heavy.
If these things are not acknowledged and addressed, they tend to follow us into the every next chapter. That’s why the start of a new year can be a powerful time to pause and intentionally create space.
One simple place to begin is your physical environment. Just opening the windows can already shift the energy in a noticeable way.
Fresh air helps move stagnant mindset and stale energy out and brings in a sense of renewal. As you do this, take a moment to set an intention to release what feels old and invite in clarity, ease, and support.
Some people also choose to cleanse their space with sage or palo santo. This doesn’t need to be elaborate or ritualized. Slowly move through your space, paying attention to areas that feel heavy or overused, such as corners, entryways, and especially places where you often sit with your thoughts. As the smoke moves, silently name what you’re ready to let go of and the kind of energy you want to keep.
Take Out The Toxic Trash With A Self-Love Meditation
I’ve been teaching meditation for over 30 years now, and it is something that has been widely misunderstood. It has also been hijacked by people with nefarious, materialistic agendas.
Meditation is not about emptying the mind or having no thoughts. Rather, it is about removing and replacing negative thoughts, repetitive patterns, abusive programming from childhood, and conditioning imposed by sadistic or wounded individuals.
Meditation is about inviting God, Spirit, Source, the Divine back into the heart, soul, and mind.
When we are children, everything begins with love. Children are eternal optimists, even when they have been traumatized.
But almost every child encounters at least one parent, relative, teacher, classmate, or authority figure who is abusive. These individuals attempt to rid themselves of their own overflowing toxicity by dumping it onto others: verbally, emotionally, or physically. Their words become programming, much like a computer virus.
Meditation is designed to replace that negative programming. Instead of hearing “you are worthless” looping in your mind, meditation allows you to consciously replace that tape with “I am loved.”
Think about the hurtful words that were spoken or screamed at you as a child. Then, during meditation, repeat the opposite.
Change Your Habits, Change Your Life!
As 2025 comes to an end and the New Year is upon is, many of us are considering how we can improve our lives and become a better version of ourselves.
Today we might be sitting with our shiny new diary or journal, or a beautiful 2026 calendar full of inspiring affirmations, in the hope it will inspire us to lead healthier, happier, more fulfilling and successful life. But the single biggest thing that we can do to change our lives for the better and really smash our goals is to change our habits.
What we habitually do is who we will ultimately become. Our daily physical habits are our metaphysical destiny. In fact, research would suggest that approximately 95% of the things people do daily are purely habitual.
From the spiritual perspective, I always look to archetype of The Archer in the Wildwood Tarot deck as the positive symbology to help me break bad habits and create new, better ones.
The Archer is a genuinely motivating card that symbolizes strength, direction, aim and focus. When it comes to habits, it reminds us to focus on the positive ones and that by doing so, we will achieve our goals by hitting our target. Gaze upon his symbology, and it should help give you the strength to do so.
For example, I am a chocoholic, the results of which is clearly evident around my middle-aged waistline! How do I personally break the habit of a lifetime and develop a healthier relationship with chocolate? Well, the guidelines are the same for any other goal we may have:
For A Reason, A Season, Or A Lifetime?
I’m often asked in relationship psychic readings if a certain person is ‘The One.’ Is this the person whom my client is supposed to be with in this lifetime?
This is such a common question and one that usually deserves a more elaborate answer for clarity.
People come in and out of our life for a myriad of reasons. Some of them are only there for a short period of time, while others remain for decades, or the rest of our life.
Have you ever felt like you keep meeting the same person over and over again, but in a different body? For example, a gentleman might call in for a reading about a woman who he’s been dating for a month.
He wants to know why all of a sudden she has pulled away or is paying less attention to him, and then he goes on to say that he continues to meet this same kind of woman. They all seem very interested in him for a short time, and then all of a sudden they just disappear.
Why does this keep happening to him? This is where the inquiry tends to come up of, “Will I ever meet the right woman?”
The first thing I notice during readings, when I tune into someone’s energy, is the patterns they carry. We all have patterns running from our past, and though it may be harder to identify at times, once noticed and embraced, it actually helps us to grow spiritually. It allows us to become more aware of our authentic self, what our gifts are, and why we are here in this life.
Living Your Best Life With Lady Luck!
Are you closely acquainted with Lady Luck, or is she a stranger to your life?
To be lucky, or not, depends on your personal view on luck. If you see luck as being pure chance and something you have absolutely no control over, then this will become your reality experience.
Should you, on the other hand, see luck as that moment when opportunity and careful preparation finally come together, then this should have a massive impact on how much good luck you receive in your life!
Search your memory for the last time you bought a lottery ticket and what went through your mind when you did? Did you just put it away, not think about it and tell yourself that you never win anyway?
Were your thoughts on something else, or did you conjure up some images as to how great it would be when you take your prize home? Hardly surprising what the outcome was, is it?
No, I am not suggesting you rush out and buy a load of lottery tickets and have blind faith that one, at least, will win big time, as that would also be the road to ruin. I am, however, suggesting that you try to adopt a more optimistic mind set as to what you can expect to attract into your life.
Our very beliefs define the energy frequency at which we vibrate and this, in turn, creates our attraction point. In simple terms, it is incredibly hard to attract good luck if you feel that you do not deserve it, or it is just downright impossible.
