Astrology Forecast June 7 – 13, 2021
The second of two eclipses occurs this week. On Thursday the Gemini New Moon will manifest as a solar eclipse. For the next two weeks, we’ll be focused on our emotional well-being and inner peace, as we using the New Moon energy to create new ways of expressing ourselves and processing our feelings.
Be careful not to give in to unnecessary moodiness and irritability this week. It is recommended we stay grounded and centered today, as the constellation of the Taurus Moon conjunction with Uranus, also in Taurus, can lead to a lack of inner harmony and emotional balance and even cause us to act unreasonably, or behave in a peculiar way that is out of character from our normal habits.
By the time the Sun moves into Cancer on June 21st, our ability to move with our intuition and inner knowings will be at an all time high. Before this transition occurs, we can use today and tomorrow’s Taurus Moon to get our most important projects off the ground and set a course for greater achievements over the coming months, enhanced by Mars’ move into power-filled Leo on Friday. Mars will spend the next two months encouraging us to quit hiding our lights under a barrel and express our dreams and true selves for all the world to see.
The Moon will saunter through Cancer Friday and Saturday, focusing our attention on home, family, security, and comfort. If your plans include being a couch-potato after a trying two weeks, you’ll have the full support of the planets. Take advantage though, as Sunday’s Aries Moon will have us back up and running, though the paths we choose will be filled with social fun or athletic pursuits.
We Are Here To Witness The World Change
We have all had to make extreme changes and compromises in the way we were accustomed to living this past year. While I enjoy traveling, another person may enjoy attending larger gatherings and events, while someone else might love dining out. Whatever it is that we used to love doing, most of us had to make major concessions and sacrifices and give it all up.
Now our world is slowly, but surely, beginning to recover. We have all been eagerly watching medical science progress and research findings unfold, while we are gradually finding our way back to some sort of normalcy.
Many of us will, however, continue to take extra health and safety precautions. Participating in social events and public gatherings will be something not everyone will feel entirely comfortable with anytime soon. It will be ‘baby steps’ as we increasingly return to everyday life.
It has indeed been an unusual time in our lives. Many of us have changed our outlook on life, our way of thinking, our priorities. And our world has seen some significant changes. It has been a challenging, transformative time. I believe we are here to witness one of the biggest shifts or changes in world history. We are literally a part of history in the making.
There are great changes happening on the fourth and higher-level dimensions with regards a ‘grander plan’ for this earth dimension. The world of spirit continually impacts the earth plane in profound ways. Alchemists and metaphysicians have always believed ‘what happens above, also happens below.’
In other words, things are currently changing or shifting in the spirit realm, so life on earth is changing along with it. The trauma, upheaval and chaos we have been experiencing in recent times is therefore fueled or driven by a Universal change in the Cosmos.
We are sentient beings who come to the earth plan to evolve and expand. We evolve more quickly and powerfully while we are incarnated in a physical body. Our body is our vehicle here on the earth plane and we must always take good care of it.
The Light At The End Of The Tunnel
As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer in the Northern Hemisphere, there is a feeling of lightness that permeates everything. The saying “April showers bring May flowers,” is especially true this year, with wet weather helping the grass to turn green and the perennials to bloom.
Around the world, hope currently springs eternal, as more vaccines are being administered and COVID-19 statistics are starting to improve. We are all ready to get back to a semblance of normalcy, after more than a year of our lives being turned upside down and families separated.
Some of us are still in lockdown or subject to various restrictions. Some days are better than others. We are not entirely out of the woods yet, but at least it seems we are getting there, slowly but surely.
This past year of social restriction and isolation has however been an opportunity to reflect and make some needed changes to our lives. Although most people did not anticipate such an upheaval for so long, the additional time in isolation has allowed many of us to re-evaluate our life choices and really focus on what we want to accomplish in future.
Some of us have concentrated on charity. Some have turned to activism. Some have focused on self-care and self-healing. Regardless of our choice of focus, many of us have become more determined to make a difference in the world. This truly is one of the many blessings that has come from all the chaos.
It is important, however, that when we set these new intentions for our future, not to overreach with impossible goals or temporary plans. If feasible, choose a course of action that will be sustainable long after the immediate pressure of the pandemic has dissipated.
Astrology Forecast May 31 – June 6, 2021
There’s not a lot of astrological movement this week as we enter the month of June, so take some time to reflect and regenerate as the energies of the next few days unfold.
Today’s Aquarius Moon will have us continuing the social chatter we started yesterday, encouraging us to connect with people we’ve lost track of or follow up on a recent conversation.
The Aquarius Moon trine Mercury in Gemini today also heightens our ability to learn new things and exercise good judgment. Today is a great time to take on that daunting project that you have been putting off. You may just be amazed how easily you can figure it out!
The Moon travels through Pisces tomorrow through Thursday, slowing outer movement and calling for internal focus and simplified days.
Venus will move into Cancer on Wednesday, another event that will turn our attention to our emotions and home lives. Loving ourselves more is a theme of Venus as she travels through Cancer, so take some time out for a spa day or to catch up on movies or books that have been waiting for your attention.
We’ll come back to life Friday and Saturday as the Moon marches into assertive Aries, where we can attend unfinished business and restore balance to our worlds.
Sunday’s Taurus Moon adds power to our physical movements, inspiring a clearing out of closets, reviewing finances, or digging in the garden. Whatever we decide to spend Sunday doing, a hands-on approach will serve us well. If you need a little extra help with your finances, the Taurus Moon sextile with Jupiter in Pisces creates the perfect opportunity on Sunday to generate new ideas to increase your income. Use this lunar energy on Sunday to set intentions for manifesting success and prosperity.
The Social Challenges Of Being Psychic
I am often asked what it is like is to be psychic. It is a blessing when I can use my gift to be of service to others. However, it can sometimes also be a burden to know things you are not supposed to know, especially if you can do very little about it. Sitting silently on the sidelines and watching patiently is a big part of being psychic.
The other day, for example, a customer came into my store. He was on speaker phone with his wife, telling her how he was buying her and their kids some surprise gifts from my store. But she sounded disinterested, hostile, even angry. She certainly did not seem grateful for what he was doing for the family.
My employees commented afterwards on how sorry they felt for the poor guy, and how awful his wife sounded. But I advised them to not judge so easily – we never know what is truly going on in other people’s lives.
The truth is, I intuitively knew more about the couple than my staff did. I sensed he had cheated on her and that he was not the perfect husband. He believes doing things like surprise shopping for the family would somehow make up for all the pain and disappointment he had caused her.
One time, I had a friend who introduced me to another friend and her fiancé. After the couple left, I told her I was concerned that her friend’s fiancé may be gay. I also told her that he was going to break off the engagement a month before the wedding. I suggested she talk to her friend, to soften the blow and prepare her.
My friend knows I am psychic, but she is always a little skeptical. She became very angry at me and insisted that I had it entirely wrong. The fiancé, she said, was clearly very masculine and did not act gay at all! She went on to say some deeply hurtful things to me, implying, among other things, that I probably only thought he was gay because he did not make a pass at me.
Journeys And Destinations
One often hears the saying “It’s about the journey, not the destination.’ But what does it truly mean? I believe the events of the past year has brought many of us to a deeper understanding.
The importance of the ‘journey’ became more evident with so many cultural holidays, birthday parties and family gatherings that had to be cancelled during the worst of the pandemic. For example, the significance of planning these special events became especially obvious this past Christmas, as well as the many cancelled festivals here in Spain.
The Christmas holiday season is usually a hectic time, with much hustle and bustle, including the mandatory family conflicts or ‘differences of opinion.’ But the joy of the season leading up to Christmas and New year is typically a time of excitement, especially for children.
People normally spend lots of time planning these celebrations and the excitement leading up to any gathering is often more fun than the event itself! Not having these occasions to look forward to has created a void in the lives of many people all over the world.
Instead, Christmas 2020 was a difficult time for many. It certainly brought up a myriad of personal challenges and negative emotions, particularly for those unable to visit loved ones, or not being able to have relatives home for the holidays.
Here in Spain, the locals are constantly planning their many fiestas. Each town and province has its own special festivals and cultural traditions, especially in the summer months. I have even witnessed the locals take to the streets in very cold weather, just to enjoy the vibe and camaraderie!
The Spaniards have a deep sense of community and they love letting their hair down whenever they can. Having grown used to the culture here, it made the silence of the empty streets this past year even more jarring than it might have been somewhere else.
Astrology Forecast May 24 – 30, 2021
The astrological highlight this week is Wednesday’s Sagittarius Full Moon, as well as a significant Lunar Eclipse. Eclipses typically come in pairs: lunar and solar. They generally happen twice a year, and when they do, their goal is to shift our focus for the next six months. Once we complete the process the eclipses have generated, we become more ready to move forward into new enterprises and goals.
This week’s Lunar Eclipse is a Super Flower Blood Moon, as it will take place just a few hours after the Moon reaches its closest point to Earth on its orbit. It is the biggest Super Moon this year and marks the beginning of a series of four major lunar eclipses over the next two years. Three of these eclipses will be total, while the one in November this year will be a partial eclipse that will be so deep that ti can almost be also be considered a total eclipse.
A Super Moon is bigger and brighter than a normal Full Moon, because it occurs when the Moon is closer in distance to Earth. Super Moons tend to amplify the astrological traits of the zodiac signs. This week’s Super Full Moon may therefore highlight the shadow side of Sagittarius, such as the tendency towards impulsive restlessness and boredom; being more easily taken advantage if you are a highly compassionate person; being too direct or even tactless in social interactions; as well as the possibility of being a little too independent in your thoughts and actions.
This week’s lunar eclipse will call for us to pull back our emotions and look at things from a more rational and pragmatic perspective. For the next two weeks, our focus should be on our external circumstances. We should be seeking justice and balance in our lives, and aim to create more security and stability. Once the next Solar Eclipse happens on June 10th, we’ll need to reverse this external, objective focus to an inner perspective focusing on our emotional well-being.
In the meantime, make every effort to stay grounded and centered on Wednesday, as the Full Moon in Sagittarius can also cause one to feel moody and restless. Avoid making rash decisions, try not to overreact, avoid potential family conflicts and hold on to your inner calm and peace.
Mercury will also be turning retrograde again on Saturday, so it may be wise to backup all your electronics and prepare for possible electronic malfunctions, digital glitches and miscommunication of all kinds for the next three weeks. Postpone the closing of deals and signing contracts. Also, look out for a rare conjunction that will result in a ‘planetary kiss’ between a super bright Venus and a receding Mercury on Friday 28th. Such a brief coming together of the two planets that rule communication and love makes this a perfect moment to tell that someone special how much you love them.
Our most productive days of the week will be Friday and Saturday as the Moon travels through diligent Capricorn. Sunday is all about socializing and connecting with friends and loved ones under the Aquarius Moon.
