Thank Goodness, It’s Friday The 13th!
Superstition is a highly personal matter. For example, the number 13 was my Father’s favorite number. It represented good luck for him. My dad was a highly intuitive man, always trusting his inner guidance when making important choices and decision. Things always seemed to work out well, whenever he paid close attention to his gut feelings.
I inherited his liking for the number 13. I guess you could say it is in my DNA. If given the choice of a number between one and twenty, I will always choose 13. My second choice is the number 3.
Like many people, I also love Fridays. It signals the end of the work week for many, and the start of the weekend. We generally seem to just be in better mood on a Friday. And while some people get the superstitious ‘heebie-jeebies’ about a Friday falling on the 13th day of a month, I absolutely love it. Yes indeed, thank goodness it’s Friday the 13th!
You either love Friday the 13th, or fear it. There is not much middle ground in these matters. Every Friday the 13th is a great day for me. I wake up and put my feet firmly on the floor, feeling I’m lucky and grateful to be alive. Friday the 13th for me is like finding a four-leaf clover. It brings me good luck. Truth be told, I even feel more energized on a Friday the 13th, especially when it falls on a Full Moon.
A Treasure In Every Intuition
Living a life tuned into God’s grace, through my intuition, never ceases to amaze me. It is ever-adventurous – never old, dull, or flat. Why is it so exciting and fresh to me? Because every moment is in the moment. Each sign, sense, and gift is unique, individual, and reciprocal. At every step there is potential to experience the unexpected – something magical, mystical, miraculous, unpredictable.
Unpredictable? Isn’t that what psychic ability is all about – being able to see and predict the future? Not necessarily. Intuitive gifts come in many diverse shapes and forms – as many as there are people. Some have the ability to foresee things before they happen, but not all psychics receive such predictive vision, and even those who do, aren’t necessarily shown all things, in all detail, all the time. It is a gift, up to the Source and Supreme Gift Giver to grant.
What makes an intuitive life richly rewarding, and conducive for helping others, is the openness to receive and transmit what is divinely placed in one’s awareness, beyond the ordinary range of sense perception. Every genuine reader has something beautiful and meaningful to offer. As there is a multi-dimensional reality, so are there a multitude of angles from which truth may be revealed to one’s intuitive sense of sight, sound, and touch.
Consulting with too many different readers can produce confusion, due to variations in the information received. Most often, however, these differences can be reconciled with deeper, discerning insight to understand how they weave together, to create an enriched texture of awareness of the many layers, sides, and subtleties of a subject.
Be The Star Of Your Show!
Are you the star of your own show? If not, then maybe it is time. For once put yourself first by honoring your spirit, your sacred body temple, and the higher work you have been called to complete in this lifetime.
You can begin by honoring your spirit with deeply soulful ‘food.’ This can take the form of meditation, prayer, or simply enjoying whatever self-care activity or spiritual practice feeds your spirit the most. But in doing so, it is important to consciously disconnect from the mundane world around you, and allow the blissful energy of Spirit Divine to pour in.
As I write these words, I can literally feel the healing energy of the sunlight bathing me, even though I am logging on from deep in the cold Rockies on a cloudy afternoon. This intense energy is a message to my soul that each of us has the ability to tap into spiritual warmth and renewal within a single thought.
My late mother used to call this connection with the Divine the I AM presence that is abundantly accessible to us all. It is important to tap into this presence as a reminder that we are spirit energy, divinely guided, protected, and in ‘the spotlight of our own shows.’
Being a ‘star’ also means that you must take deliberate time to honor your sacred body temple. You do this by enjoying healthy foods and balanced nutrition.
Seeing The Real World Of The Heart
As a woman and mother, I have questions about things happening in my world. As an intuitive empath, I receive questions that others have about things happening in their world. A recent experience sums up what I consider to be the most reliable source of inner wisdom, and where answers can be accessed by all of us.
I was awake one night with the energetic sensation of a specific situation permeating my experience. I could feel the energy in each expansion of my chest, as I inhaled. It filled my every breath, my every sense. My mind questioned, but I heard the guiding whisper of God in my soul say, “The real world is in the heart.”
There are spiritual dimensions of reality that are deeper, finer, subtler, more substantial than what is evident on the surface in the physical world. The door that opens to them is within the heart. There is truly more than meets the eye.
This realization reminded me of the illustration plates in the anatomy section of my parents’ encyclopedia, which fascinated me when I was a child. It wasn’t the human body per se that so intrigued me; it was the way the transparencies overlaid one another to form the whole picture.
At the top of them all was the skin, creating a picture of a human the way I was accustomed to see. As I turned the first page, I got a glimpse of something I had felt but never seen directly before with my eye, namely muscles. Page by page continuously showed deeper levels of anatomy beneath the surface, including the circulatory system, organs, and skeleton.
Keep Your Intuitive Energy Flowing
If you are psychic, clairvoyant, intuitive, or a pure empath, then chances are you find yourself periodically, or even frequently flipping the ‘off switch’ on your gifts in daily life. You certainly can’t process, neither share with everyone, the energetic information that is streaming 24/7. Sometimes it is also not understood, welcomed or trusted by others.
But, as you have no doubt noticed, this does not prevent the energy information or spiritual messages from showing up. For the gifted person this can feel like a concrete wall, especially when they are first utilizing their gifts and abilities. Many overly eager psychic mediums, intuitives and empaths have been met with a harsh rebuff, when they were starting out, from those they were genuinely trying to help, or wished to share an important message with.
Over time, if you are in an social environment that is less than open or supportive, this can cause you to doubt your own abilities, or force you to try and shut them down completely, in order to fit in, or avoid ridicule and criticism. But here’s the thing: you really can’t shut your gifts down completely.
You can ignore, rationalize, temporarily mute your gifted nature, but the bottom line is that it is here to stay. You were born with your extra-sensory abilities and healing gifts. They may have just recently surfaced for you, or you may have been aware of them from an early age. Whatever your circumstance, your gifts are a part of you, just as your eyes, arms and legs are a part of your body.
So, you might as well learn to deal with it more effectively. You will become much more comfortable with your gifts and abilities if you know how to keep yourself safe, healthy and strong, so that your energy can be powerful and free flowing.
Soul Group Zen Connections
I love when you meet a new friend and they are on the same wavelength. It usually feels like you have known them forever and you can just talk for hours, completely losing track of time. Time does fly when we connect with those who are in the same soul group.
I recently had the rare experience of talking with someone who, like me, is also intuitive, emphatic, sensitive, and loves the Tarot and crystals. It was a blessing and rare opportunity to talk to someone with whom I have so much in common on a spiritual level.
We soon discovered that we have both learned to set up healthy boundaries in our lives, including with our in-laws. We also lived in the same city for the first five years of our lives. There are also many other personal things we have in common.
I call this state of resonance with someone or something ‘to be in zen.’ When we are in zen with someone, we are connecting with a kindred spirit. It happens smoothly and easily, as our energy is in alignment with our own truth and theirs. No hang-ups, no snares, no issues, no resistance.
I also believe we are divinely guided towards those who share our soul group. Like attracts like, and this creates a positive domino effect with everything just smoothly energized and aligned. Our health, happiness, well-being benefit from it on all levels.
My Spirit Guide once put it to me like this and it makes perfect sense: “When you go through life not recharged or reenergized, you tend to not connect well spiritually.” There are many ways to recharge our spiritual batteries, including meditation, a healthy lifestyle, being charitable, and so on.
How To Send Remote Healing
It is very disheartening when a loved one is not in the best of health, and due to circumstances you cannot be with that person. The good news, however, is that you do not need to be with them to assist or support them! Geographical distance does not stop you from sending them healing and love!
You see, cosmically speaking, we are all connected, and through this Universal network we can send positive vibes to those we care about. All you require is a little faith and focus.
Start With Yourself
There is no point in trying to send support to someone else, if you are not in a good place yourself. Therefore, connect with nature as much as you can, self-nurture to the maximum, feed your five senses regularly with all the good things in the world (meaning that what you hear, see, smell, taste and touch need to be as positive as possible). Bring the ‘feel-good factor’ into your life. Meditation can also be beneficial before sending someone else healing.
If you can get outside for some ‘natural nurture,’ do remember that trees can help bring about a great sense of serenity and calm. Choose the one you feel the most connected to, position yourself close to it and see how quickly you feel better, and thus ready to send positive energy and healing to your loved one in need.
