Natural Law is a term that is used for so many different descriptions and is actually ambiguous. It can be the law of nature; a philosophical law related to ethics and morality, or many other laws where rules are applied.
Greek philosophers, such as Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, specifically distinguished between the law of the land and the law of nature. The law of the land was specific to the cities, districts and government whereas the Law of Nature is the same everywhere.
In physics one might even say that the Law of Gravity is a Natural Law, as it exists everywhere on the planet and throughout time. Technology has advanced such that we are able to influence gravity, yet we have not changed the inherent Law of Gravity. Read the rest of this entry »

Does the cell phone get hidden when you walk into a room, after they have been fervently texting on it? Does it go in their pocket, or under a cushion? Does it go into the bathroom with them? Has it become a third appendage attached to the person at all times? Are they chuckling, however won’t show you what they find so amusing?
When I read for a client, I am not just reading their energy, but I am also reading the energy of their loved ones, co-workers, friends, their home environment, as well as their work environment and community. During a psychic reading in can become evident, for example, that the home environment is toxic, stagnant, or energetically polluted, which has a negative effect on my client.
This pollution is not always metaphysical in origin. Sometimes it is caused by a physical contaminant. For example, it can be a mildew issue, which will make me smell mold and sense moisture, like a smothering humid feeling, or see black mildew spots on a psychic level. The toxicity can also be due to a leak of actual chemicals, bugs or something else that has become a threat to the client’s health. Read the rest of this entry »
One of the best investments to make in your home today is a Himalayan salt lamp. It is typically a large piece (or pieces) of pure salt from the mountain range of the same name. The real thing, as opposed to imitators made from rock salt or less pure forms, is mined in the Punjab provinces of India and Pakistan.
So what is so special about a light bulb inside a rock, anyway? Turns out, lots of things.
We are surrounded by positive ions (atomic particles with uneven levels of charge) in our modern world due to new technology. These ions are generated by televisions, microwaves, mobile phones, and the like. We also find positive ions in airborne toxins, such as mold and pollen.
The properties of the salt lamp generate negative ions to counterbalance these energies. If you’ve ever experienced the regenerative power of a beach, or the aftermath of a storm, you know what this feels like. Read the rest of this entry »
I have passed on endless messages of reassurance to my customers from their loved ones on the other side. The focus in most mediumship readings is typically on reassuring those left behind, on this side of the veil, that their deceased loved ones are actually very much alive and doing well. The dearly departed often let us know that they are unencumbered by any discomfort of a physical or emotional nature they may have experienced prior to their crossing.
Yesterday, I did a reading for a customer who received a profound message from her father. It made me think how I had not really been feeling my own father’s presence recently. That is, not since the final group gathering of my psychic development circle over two years ago, prior to my move to Spain. In that final group session, my dad communicated how I had been talking to his photo that very morning, just a few hours earlier. I blushed as the rest of the group laughed at my embarrassment. Spirit loves laughter, and that was so typical of my dad to come through with funny comments during our psychic circle. Read the rest of this entry »
The glyph for those born under a Gemini Sun, between May 21 and June 21, is the Roman numeral for the number 2. The Twins. Like their symbol, Gemini tends to have more than one side to their personality. They may have a public persona, and an entirely different private side seen only by their closest friends and confidantes.
Many Geminis are excellent communicators and love to talk. This comes as no surprise, since their planetary ruler is Mercury, the messenger. Talk to a Gemini, and you’ll be talking to someone who is witty, intelligent, and a quick thinker. Sometimes they may forget to put on a filter, so be prepared for anything that comes out. They’re likely to be found in the middle of any lively conversation or party, and chances are, if you’ve ever met a persuasive salesman, he had Gemini somewhere in his natal chart. I’ve been friends with Gail and Paul since they were my neighbors in San Francisco, 22 years ago. This was long before today’s popularity of digital technology and our growing dependence on wireless, hand-held devices, such as our smart phones, tablets, laptops, and now even our watches.
Our homes were next to each other and the backyards adjacent. Over the fence, we exchanged conversation, shared Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, and frequent “tastes” of new recipes. Life happened and in time they moved away. Later, I also moved, but we continued to exchange phone calls and written notes.
For the past ten years, I have been living in the Pacific Northwest, a mere three hour drive from Gail and Paul. We eventually reconnected and now keep in touch mostly through Facebook posts, videos and photos. Gail chronicles their life on the farm they now own. Through social media, she’s inspired me to also grow vegetables and fruits, and I’ve inspired her to save seeds from harvests to plant the next Spring. Read the rest of this entry »
Could some of the famous prophets, such as Nostradamus, or the prophets of the King James Version of the Bible, or the prophet Mohammad, actually have been time travelers?
And is it merely coincidence that the Oracle of Delphi used a brass seat for visions of the future? As did Nostradamus, the 16th Century French poet and visionary. Nostradamus writes, “I will be seated at night, in my secret study. Alone sitting upon a stool of brass, a flame shall leap forth from the solitude, granting that which is not to be believed in vain.”
And, in the 1895 HG Wells fiction novel, The Time Machine, the protagonist of the story uses a black and polished brass time machine to gain mechanical control over time. Is there something about sitting on brass that allows one to see into the future? Or, could they possibly be talking about a brass seat on a sort of vehicle? Read the rest of this entry »
