Stay In The Light
During these challenging times, it is essential to stay in the light. It protects your emotional, spiritual, mental and physical health. How do you ‘stay in the light?’ You achieve it by maintaining a raised energy vibration in a time of extreme darkness. It means you don’t get sucked into other people’s drama, darkness, fear and toxicity. You don’t allow yourself to get weighed down by the negativity in the world around you.
Staying in the light doesn’t mean you don’t have an opinion or strong personal views, or that you are not aware, supportive and caring, or that you don’t get involved in the world around you when it truly matters. It simply means you always take care of yourself, while you are doing whatever it is that you need to do every day. Staying in the light is about making self-care a priority.
Staying in the light is about psychic shielding and setting boundaries where and when necessary. For example, avoiding toxic people and environments is one of the best things you can do to stay in the light. You have no obligation to tolerate and accommodate toxic people and energy thieves!
If you work with toxic people, don’t listen to the office gossip and don’t get sucked into their negative world. Also, don’t show them that they may be upsetting, or hurting you. Take a deep breath, call on your inner strength, and simply smile. Own your personal power – you are much stronger than you may realize.
Stay away from social media, if you are easily overwhelmed by negativity. For the first time in human history, we now have the technology to instantly access the opinions, fears, false beliefs and negative experiences of every human being who has access to a keyboard or smart phone. We are confronted daily with the pain, hysterics and drama of thousands of people, all at once!
Small Gestures Of Kindness In A Time Of Cruelty
People are feeling anxious and uncertain with what has been happening in the world in recent months. Many are fearful and stressed, and unsure how to act appropriately in these strange times. Some act out in destructive or dramatic ways, taking their frustration out on others.
It is common knowledge that the digital age and social media has spawned a generation of computer warriors and online bullies who express their insecurities and fears, in often extremely mean and cruel ways, from the comfort of their living rooms and basements. This savage lack of empathy and decorum has seemingly now spilt over into our streets and neighborhoods too, in the midst of a global pandemic.
It is easier for many to be critical and judgmental, to complain and argue, instead of facing facts, dealing with the truth and seeking lasting solutions. Often not knowing the entire story, many people choose to see only see one side of things, while telling others off for disagreeing with their limited point of view. The computer has unfortunately given some people a platform to spread strife and hatred, instead of love, hope and kindness.
I pray that more people will strive to seek the truth and learn to look for the good and kind in others. Showing tolerance, patience and kindness is always the better, more open approach. And always remember that if someone attacks you directly, then it often means they are somehow struggling or hurting. It usually serves no real purpose to attack them back.
The Lunar Eclipse, Two Orbs And A Message Of Support
Recently, on June 5th, I was relaxing, waiting for the sun to set, because a penumbral lunar eclipse was due to occur that evening. The Strawberry Full Moon was set to turn a shade darker during its maximum phase. Photographers around the world were preparing to capture images of this special event. The moon would have an unusual light in a way we do not see very often.
Many people had been texting and posting about the shift of energy that will happen with this special Full Moon. I was not taking it too seriously, but I did have my new camera handy, in the hope of capturing some cool images of my own. But I surprised at what happened!
I waited in the dark for the perfect moment to take some pictures, having made sure that the lens was clean and there were no other lights to cause flares or reflections. But when I looked at the result, not only did I see the moon, but there were also a small blue orb and a white orb of light captured in the image.
I was quite amazed. No, I thought, how is that possible? I took some more photos, and there it was again: the small white and blue orbs! This was my first time I have ever captured orbs in my photography. I was still considering the possibility that it was just a glitch caused by the moonlight, when I noticed something even more unusual in the picture. I could clearly see the outline of a ghostly figure. It is kind of like hitting the paranormal jackpot…when you capture the moon, two orbs, and a spirit entity all in one photo, and that during a significant lunar eclipse! It does not get more spooky than that.
My Paranormal Experiences Using A ‘Ghost App’
Want to be a ghost whisperer? ‘Ghost-hunting’ apps for smartphones has become increasingly popular in paranormal investigation in recent years. I was a little apprehensive at first to try it myself, suspecting these apps might be fake, rigged or designed merely for entertainment. But I have been using a particular paranormal app for a while now that is actually very good.
What I like about this particular app is that you do not have to use your voice. You can telepathically ask your loved one who has crossed over questions, so that you can be sure the app is not merely listening to and responding to what you are saying. It’s pretty cool. I like to write my questions on paper, and not speak it at all, and right after the spirit messages just come in on the ghost app verbatim to what I heard or sensed prior.
I am claisentient and clairaudient, which means I can hear and sense spirit. So, I know if these apps are actually the real deal when I use them. To actually see on the app what I have been experiencing all my life is quit fun and exciting. I have lately been asking spirit to come in using the ghost app and I have had some fascinating personal experiences.
For example, my grandmother passed away a little over a year ago, and after she had passed the hospice worker put her set of dentures right next to her. Fortunately, I noticed this and remembered her saying that she wanted her teeth to be either in her mouth, or kept safe.
Spiritual Transcendence Requires Human Interaction
You are pure energy. That is your soul and you chose to incarnate in this world to experience the duality of energy and matter. You chose this because there are learnings available here on Earth in material form that are not available when one is a ball of light. Therefore, human contact, or human interaction is as important as the experiences of energy when we are incarnated here on Earth.
You have the opportunity in this lifetime to transcend. Incarnation gives you that opportunity. You should rise to the occasion – after all you signed up for it. Running away from the physical inconveniences of incarnation is not the best of choices, if you are interested in transcendence and living an awakened life – unless your life path is one of abstinence.
If you have never practiced any kind of abstinence (fasting, voluntary poverty, celibacy) trust me when I say that it too has challenges, especially in the beginning. This is something to think about if you do practice any form of abstinence. Are you running away? Or are you taking on a spiritual practice to help you with your transcendence. And how can you be sure?
In today’s world, social media, texting, and virtual interaction prevail. There is a trend of decline in the skills of human relations, physical interaction and social skills. We see this in the workplace, as well as in our romantic relationships, family dynamics and parenting. We suffer a loss in our quality of human interaction in many ways, such as fulfillment, honesty, authenticity, conflict resolution, intimacy and many more areas. We are by our nature social creatures, and learning to be social simply cannot happen online. Equally, learning about and working with others humans is a different experience in person than online. You might prefer online, but make sure you understand your choice and consider if you are choosing avoidance rather than engagement.

Now that so many of us are spending more time in our homes, it has become even more important to consider the principles of Feng Shui.

Plants in the bedroom can improve sleep, for example, while plants in the living room and kitchen can help to absorb radiation from electronic devices. Plants are a quick, inexpensive way of improving the energy in your home and balancing the Feng Shui.
A Unique Time For Human Connection
This is a unique opportunity in human history. We have more time now to expand our awareness and understanding, and to take the guidance from the sages of the ages to find peace in a tumultuous situation. One of the most unique aspects of the current situation is related to human connection.
At a time when we are being asked to practice social distancing, we also have a unique opportunity to be connected through social media and video conferencing. I am amazed at the opportunity that the miracle of technology has given us. Many of these technologies were not available 20 years ago.
Recently, I have been seeing stories about the kindness and compassion people are showing during this time. All the communication technology we have at our disposal enables us to connect with one another at a deeper level.
I would also recommend not focusing too much of your mental and emotional attention only on yourself at this time. The current situation is not just about you, and when we focus too much energy on what we are going to do or how this will affect us on a personal level, it only increases our sense of anxiety about the unknown.
If you are currently finding yourself with more free time, also do not just use this as an opportunity to only binge on television or movies. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with watching television or movies, but this is also an opportunity to expand your interpersonal connections in a unique way. This is a time where we can extend our energies on compassion and kindness toward our fellow humans.
