This year, so far, has been a difficult time for many, not only for my clients, but for myself, as well. The static on the planet continues to increase. Actually, I first noticed the dramatic increase during the first week of June 2015, but today I want to focus on the year 2016.
In recent weeks, I felt the past resurfacing and washing over me like a surfer wave. For one thing, we are in a nine year in numerology, which denotes a year of goodbyes, endings, deaths and ultimately rebirth.
If you experience the past washing over you, as well, whether in the form of reliving past experiences, saying goodbye to some part of yourself that you no longer need, or letting an actual person from your past go, the point is to think about what these intense episodes are teaching you. What is the purpose – the lesson? Read the rest of this entry »
Most spiritual seekers are aware of the more well-known Universal Laws, particularly the Law of Attraction. However, did you know there are several other spiritual laws that govern the Universe? Yes, there are! These laws can help you get the most out of life. In the previous blog in this series we explored the first six laws. Below are the final six Universal Laws.
The Law of Attraction
I must say that after learning about this amazing Law and applying it to my life (with the help of Rhonda Byrne’s brilliant book, The Secret) my very existence has radically changed. Simply by focusing on your desired outcome, with sufficient belief and passion, you should surely attract it to yourself. Read the rest of this entry »
Back in the Fall I posted a blog, titled Autumn Wishes, where I mentioned planting bulb, while wishing for a beautiful flower and praying for the fulfillment of a desire. At that time in October, it was my invitation for us to pause and notice the inexorable pull toward Winter Solstice. The days were growing incrementally shorter, ultimately culminating in the darkest day of the year.
But here we are now, and it is Spring again. Yes, it is the beautiful season of new beginnings, renewal and rebirth! Fresh buds are blooming, hibernating animals have been awakening and the earth seems to be coming to life again. Farmers and gardeners are now planting their future harvest, as temperatures slowly rise. Read the rest of this entry »
In the northern hemisphere the Spring season is now heralding warmer weather and new growth after a long, dark winter. With the blossoms that bring the promise of luscious foliage come the thoughts of new beginnings and infinite possibilities.
Every day you have the opportunity to create your own personal Spring. Yesterday has passed and tomorrow is but a thought. Today counts. This is the day over which you can have some control. This is the day wherein you can make commitments, keep promises and deliver expected results. Today is the day that you can help one another toward success. Today is the day that you can promote love and healing. Today is the day to listen, express empathy and support others. Today is the day you can be true to yourself. Today is the day wherein love triumphs. Read the rest of this entry »
It is full moon today, November 25th, 2015. Medieval English and Wiccans traditionally refer to this November moon as the Snow Moon, while Colonial Americans and Algonquian called it the Beaver Moon.
In November there are several spiritual matters to consider. All Saints Day is celebrated by Christians, the new year has begun for Wiccans, The Day of the Dead is celebrated in several cultural traditions. It is a time to remember our ancestors and fallen soldiers, and others we’ve lost.
November is also a time to give thanks. It can be an exhausting and, at times, overwhelming month. We must remember to take care of ourselves as we take care of our homes. Read the rest of this entry »
In the schedule-driven course of modern life we tend to lose touch with ourselves. Whether it’s picking up the kids from soccer practice, or that 9:00 AM meeting at work, we bend and mold our lives around the demands placed upon us.
I’ve heard clients describe being pulled in too many directions; of stress around interpersonal communications both at work and at home; and of losing themselves, resulting in feeling depressed and confused. After a while, we begin losing our effectiveness and self-confidence.
I hope that by reading this, more of us will become aware of our depleted selves and take steps to renew and refresh our spirits. I know you’ve heard this before, but here it is again: take some time out, physically, mentally and spiritually! Make realistic goals and take some time for fulfilling them.
