Some metaphysicians from a broad spectrum of disciplines believe that there has been a substantial energy shift on the planet, most notably starting on July 11, 1991, and again on December 21, 2012 during major Astrological events, the latter of which was what many considered the end of the Mayan Calendar.
In the Hindu tradition they call these shifts Yugas. In the Christian tradition these shifts are called dispensations. Whatever you call it, the initial characteristics of a new age are global upheaval and unrest, natural disasters, and greater extremes in polarities between positive and negative, light and dark or virtue and depravity. Good morning fellow seekers and believers. A warm welcome also to ye of little faith. It is indeed a blessing to greet you at the dawn of yet another perfect Solstice day in this miraculous annual progression of human history. It is December 21st, 2012 and it is exactly 11:11 GMT, the official time of the Solstice. Take a deep breath, you are indeed still alive!
If you are one of the more adventurous and spirited among us, you may very well find yourself today on a Mayan galactic alignment cruise or magical pilgrimage to the Chichen Itza in the Mexican state of Yucatan, or at Stonehenge in the United Kingdom, waiting for the first light to break on the horizon. There are those who believe we may be facing extinction as a species – if we don’t change our ways. This idea is not as far-fetched as it may seem. The mass extinction of entire plant or animal families is something that has happened on several specific occasions in history.
The most well-known of these extinction events is the end of the ‘golden age of the reptiles’, when most of the dinosaur species disappeared. The small percentage that survived ultimately became the bird species that today still roam our planet. I have often wondered about the fascination children all over the world seem to have with dinosaurs. It is a subject that is a source of great enthusiasm for both boys and girls. Could it be that they intuitively remember the past, that the traumatic events of that time remains ingrained in our DNA to this very day? Read the rest of this entry »
I watched the movie 2012 for the first time… would you guess it… the very day before the first earthquake hit in Japan! I couldn’t believe my eyes, watching on CNN the earth breaking in half just like in the movie. Houses were being washed away and lives taken within a blink of an eye.
For some of us this news came as a shock, but not as a surprise. Many spiritually aware people all over the world had been on edge lately. Just like the animals, we feel it, we have an innate sense that things are a bit ‘off’.
After the news broke, I was feeling the need to do something to help out. I make scarves for children and I figured for every one that I make and sell I could donate half of the profits and send it to a proper cause, that I know will go directly to help in some small way. Every bit does help. Read the rest of this entry »
The year 2011 has kicked off with yet another batch of psychic predictions from all over the globe. It has become an annual tradition to predict as much doom and gloom as possible, and this year the custom was once again upheld with much enthusiasm and zeal.
The usual depressing prophecies and upcoming disasters were numerous this year, coupled with some mindless trivia about celebrities and movie stars. Why? Because bad news and gossip sells. It is what most people like to hear and it is what most people like to fear. Scientific studies have shown that people prefer bad news in the media. They find it more interesting, respond to it more often and remember it much longer. They also pass the news on to others at a much faster rate. I guess it is in our nature, because knowing the bad news before everyone else might just give us a better shot at survival. Read the rest of this entry »
