Alice Bailey: Bailey, a prominent Theosophist, predicted significant spiritual events around the year 2025. In The Externalization of the Hierarchy (written in the mid-20th century), Bailey refers to a significant spiritual event in the year 2025. She believed that the Great General Assembly of the Hierarchy, which occurs every century, will take place in 2025. This assembly is a gathering of spiritual beings, including Ascended Masters and other enlightened beings, who Bailey describes as overseeing the spiritual evolution of humanity. Bailey referred to the period leading up to 2025 as the “Stage of the Forerunner,” a preparatory phase. This phase involves intense activity, testing, and revelation, preparing the world for the eventual externalization of the Hierarchy – a process she described as the public revelation and active involvement of spiritual beings in guiding humanity. According to Bailey, the years leading up to 2025 would witness great changes and spiritual shifts. Kali Yuga: Some modern interpretations of Hindu cosmology suggest that March 21, 2025 may mark the end of Kali Yuga, the last age in the Hindu Yuga cycle. Age of Aquarius: The concept of the Age of Aquarius comes from Astrology, specifically the idea that the Earth moves through a cycle of twelve zodiac signs, with each age or era lasting about 2,160 years. This cycle is linked to the precession of the equinoxes through the zodiac over a period of about 25,800 years. Each astrological age is associated with a particular zodiac sign, and the Age of Aquarius follows the Age of Pisces. Because of the slow pace of the precession and the lack of a clear boundary between the ages, the exact moment when the Age of Aquarius officially begins remains uncertain. However, many of us believe that the transition has already begun or is imminent. The transition to the Age of Aquarius is interpreted by many as the dawning of a new era, with an emphasis on greater spiritual awareness, humanitarian values, technological innovation, and a break from traditional social structures.
Mayan Calendar: While the Mayan calendar famously predicted the end of the old world in 2012, more reasonable interpretations suggest that it predicts the global shift into the Age of Aquarius, the New Age, or the 5th Dimensional Earth. The “end” of the Mayan calendar was the completion of a cycle, not an apocalyptic prediction. We are in the process of this transition of spiritual evolution and a new level of consciousness emerging globally, and we may therefore continue to see increasing signs of this in the coming year.
Hopi Prophecies: The prophecies of the Hopi Native American tribe predict a time of great change, including environmental challenges and the advent of a “day of purification.” Some interpretations suggest that the Hopi prophecies may come to fruition in the 2020s with a focus on the need for global healing.
