Remembering The Lost Wisdom Of Lemuria

In 2013, the scientific journal Nature pusblished a report that a long-lost continent had been discovered hidden under the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius. This was furher confirmed by another study pusblished in 2017. What makes this unprecedented announcement especially interesting for the modern estoteric community is that it confirms the long-held belief that a lost continent called Lemuria, or the Land of Mu, did in fact exist, exactly as some scholars had speculated as far back as the mid-1800s.

Although not yet confirmed by modern science, it is also believed that this lost continent was once inhabited by an extinct race of prehistoric humans known as Lemurians. It is believed the Lemurians coexisted with the dinosaurs. They are even said to have had four arms and very tall, large, adrogynous bodies.

The legend of Lemuria and its inhabitants gained increased interest in the esoteric community when Helena Blavatsky, the Russian mystic and co-founder of the Theosophical Society, published her famous book The Secret Doctine in 1888. In the second part of the book, she describes how humanity originated and evolved from seven “root races” dating back millions of years. According to Madame Blavatsky the third root race was the first to be truly human and they existed on the lost continent of Lemuria, while the fourth root race is said to have developed in Atlantis.

“Occultism rejects the idea that Nature developed man from the ape, or even from an ancestor common to both, but traces, on the contrary, some of the most anthropoid species to the Third Race man,” writes Blavatsky.

The legend of Lumeria is also known as the mythical lost continent of Mu, a concept introduced by British-American antiquarian Augustus Le Plongeon after his investigations of the Maya ruins in Yucatán. He further associated the “Land of Mu” with the legend of Atlantis.

Author James Churchward further popularized the legend of Mu (Lumeria) in a series of books, the first of which is titled Lost Continent of Mu, the Motherland of Man (1926). Churchward was also an expert in preserving ancient artifacts. It is said Churchward had befriended a high priest at a temple in India, who showed him to a set of ancient clay tablets from the lost continent of Mu written in an ancient language. Churchward convinced the priest to teach him the forgotten language and then deciphered the tablets.

The tablets tell the story of Mu as the home of an advanced, superior civilization called the Naacal, which flourished between 50,000 and 12,000 years ago. Churchward believed that Mu was the true origin of all the great civilizations of Egypt, Greece, Central America, and India. The king of Mu was named Ra – related to the Egyptian god of the sun, Ra, and the Rapa Nui word for Sun, ra’a.

Towards the end of its existence, Mu had a thriving 64 million inhabitants separated as ten tribes, living in seven major cities and various colonies on the other continents. They followed one government and had one religion. Sadly, Mu was destroyed in “almost a single night” after a series of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, and completely covered by water.

It is my belief that I was Lemurian (or one of the Naacal) in a past life. They were a very psychic people living a fifth-dimensional existence in less dense bodies than ours. I find the cellular memories of my experiences during that lifetime very strongly imprinted to this day in my DNA. For example, the Lemurians were so sophisticated that they used telepathy to communicate. Many former Lemurians living today tend to use telepathy and psychokinesis in their everyday life.

Lemuria or Mu is believed to have been a continent where heaven really was a place on Earth. The Lemurians are thought of as a peaceful, highly intelligent race of people that existed millions of years ago. I discovered this inherited ‘Lemurian’ trait in myself in a very mundane way. In my younger years, I used to work as a waitress. During busy times in the restaurant, I would sometimes quickly scribble down a customer’s order and hurry away, only to have them call me back and complain that I did not take their entire order. I would then show them their complete order written down on my notepad, and it would freak them out!

How did I know what they had wanted to order, if they did not actually tell me? Well, simple really. I ‘heard’ the order ‘in my mind.’ I eventually realized I did not always differentiate what I perceived in my mind and what was actually spoken.

The Lemurians were also master alchemists. Alchemy is the conversion or transmutation of one form of matter to another through human consciousness. Before the destruction of their civilization, the Lemurian prophets sensed that their way of life may be under threat. So, they began to use alchemy to encode crystals with their wisdom, knowledge, and other esoteric information, because crystals are very durable and relatively water resistant. Crystals carry stored consciousness as energy conduits.

Many former Lemurians are intuitively very attracted to crystals. The Lemurians knew the coming natural disaster would set future generations back into a third-dimension consciousness. Humanity would someday think they were only a body, and forget about the soul. The energy data stored in crystals would eventually help to reawaken future generations to a fifth-dimensional awareness.

The fifth-dimensional wisdom of the Lemurians had been forgotten and remained hidden for millennia, until about two centuries ago, when it began to gradually resurface in the mid-1800s courtesy of pioneers like Le Plongeon, Churchward and Blavatsky, who are said to all have lived former lives as inhabitants of Lemuria, or Mu.

In my journey of remembering, I have discovered things about myself that I never would have believed were possible.  I have remembered how to sing in a particular way, and this was catalyzed through consciously inviting my Lemurian lifetimes to speak to me ~ Rakai’el Webb

Today, many in the esoteric community believe that December 2012, when the Mayan calendar ended, as well as the scientific discovery of the ‘lost contintent’ under Mauritius in early 2013, marked the acceleration of the re-emergence of the ancient wisdom of Lemuria, and the reactivation of its imprints in our DNA. This is part of the next evolutionary step of humanity.

It is reassuring to know in the times we live in. The Lemurian way of life was about love and harmony. They did not know the third-dimensional atrocities of hatred, violence, theft, cruelty, or war. They embodied the wisdom of the ‘golden rule’ – that what you do to another, you do to yourself, since we are all One with the Divine.
