If one considers that a large percentage of our bodies also consist of water, it’s easy to see why crystal bowls can create a deeper resonance within us, compared to bowls made from other materials.

In our busy world it’s easy to ignore pure, natural sound – which is one of many benefits of crystal singing bowls. Cultures around the world have known for millennia about the therapeutic properties of music, and more specifically, unique notes or tones. I feel that the neighbors that live above and below you, as well as to the left and right, are all part of the issue. Begin by smudging your home with sage. Start at the entrance. Close all windows except for the back bedroom window; instead open it halfway for working the negative energy out of your home.

Can you find peace no matter how much or how little money is in the bank?

A Symbol To Know The Unknowable

Click photo for a free reading at PsychicAccess.comThis morning, I ran into one of my friends in our little Spanish town, and we decided to grab a coffee and catch up. I was delighted at how she took an interest in my Om/Aum pendant. She commented on how I seemed to treat my pendant as something rather sacred, and with respect – an interesting observation! She loved the flow of the shapes, and asked if the pendant had any specific meaning.

I had to remove the pendant and study it closely to try and remember what I was taught years ago, in order to give her a brief description to the best of my ability. One by one I tried to connect with each swirl in the design and was surprised that I had remembered quite a lot of what my mentor had taught me. It was a long time ago, when we used the Om/Aum chant in our meditation sessions.

With my pendant on the table I began to explain the meaning of the dot at the top of the symbol, and recalled that this related to the silence after chanting Om/Aum. It represents the Enlightened Self, and is known as the transcendental state of Turiya. Continue reading

Spiritual Hindsight Is Twenty-Twenty

I think having intuitive abilities, such as knowing things before they happen, seeing auras, and sensing negative and positive energy, is something we all can do. I just had a real knack for tapping into that part of my mind, because I spent a lot of time by myself in the outdoors, or in my bedroom, and steered clear of drama and human chaos. Also, I hardly ever was exposed to electromagnetic poisoning by way of modern technology.

I was not raised Catholic, but while on a walk one day, I found behind a church a lineup of saint statues. At the end of the row was Mother Mary. I remember very clearly sitting in front of her sculpture and seeing an angel next to her. I prayed, as I was taught to do from a very young age, to be shown what I will be doing in my future. How To Be Mindful On The Go!

People turn to mindfulness for many reasons. For example, they may have a medical condition that needs managing, work issues that require resolving, or just simply want to feel more present in their everyday lives. With the pace of modern life, it is clear to see why people become easily distracted and lead somewhat complicated lives as a result – all of which can be both emotionally and physically draining.

Whatever the reasons may be as to why a person turns to mindfulness, it should, indeed, help them to create a more balanced lifestyle. That said, mindfulness should not be seen as a magical cure-all, but more an efficient way of relating to personal issues differently. Continue reading
